Careful, Kate and William... I've always supported you but now your behaviour's left me cold and I'm not alone: LIZ JONES
We've all got the message: the three children of William and Kate lead lives of wholesome, old-fashioned, Enid Blyton ordinariness. When not tagging along at state occasions, George, 12, Charlotte, ten and Louis, seven, are frolicking in East Anglian haystacks, having sword fights with twigs.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's isolated Welsh home
Prince William and Kate Middleton's isolated Welsh home Prince William and Kate Middleton have lived in some beautiful places over the years, including Wales They lived at the large farmhouse Bodorgan Hall (Image: Spread Pictures) There's been lots of chatter surrounding Prince William and Kate Middleton's living arrangements, as the royal couple announced their plans to move into their brand new forest lodge home later this year, which is an eight-bedroom home on the Windsor Castle estate with their three children. William and Kate have lived in their current home in Adelaide Cottage since 2022 after they moved from Kensington Palace. It's safe to say they have had some impressive homes over they years, including a period living in Wales for one chapter of their lives. The royal couple lived on the Isle of Anglesey, or Ynys Môn, from 2010 to 2013. This was while William was working as a search and rescue pilot with the RAF, whose base is conveniently located near Bodorgan, close to where the family lived. Love dreamy Welsh homes? Sign up to our newsletter here Before their engagement, William and Kate moved into a property on the Newborough estate, a rural part of Anglesey's western side. Nearby villages include Bodorgan, Newborough, and Malltraeth which are all nearby villages, the Express reported. Article continues below The house they stayed in was an old, white-stoned farmhouse, believed to be Prince George's first home, as Kate and William returned to Anglesey for a few weeks following his birth in London. Given that most of Anglesey is rural, with only with small villages and farms, Kate was able to carry out her daily activities without much fuss according to reports, while William was at work. She was spotted in Llangefni, purchasing dog food at the local pet shop, and in Menai Bridge, doing the weekly grocery shopping at the only Waitrose on Anglesey. Reflecting on his and Kate's time on Anglesey, Prince William shared: "This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both. Catherine and I look forward to returning again and again over the coming years with our family. "I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and as welcoming as Anglesey." She revealed: "I was chatting to some of the mums, I had just had George and William was still working with search and rescue, so we came up here when George was a tiny, tiny little baby, in the middle of Anglesey. "It was so isolated, so cut off, I didn't have my family around me, he was doing night shifts, so if only I'd had a centre like this at a certain time." The couple resided in Bodorgan Hall, a four-bedroom farmhouse boasting a Welsh slate roof sourced locally and numerous large windows, offering breathtaking views of the nearby sea and the Eryri mountains. The property offers the opportunity to stroll through Newborough Forest to Llanddwyn beach, and then along the sands to Llanddwyn Island, once home to Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of love. The estate is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Beauty and Environmentally Sensitive Area, largely due to its encompassing woodland and beach. It also boasts a circular dovecote, barn, expansive gardens, a lawn, and a deer park. The house was constructed between 1779 and 1782, with significant additions made in the mid-19th century. Kate and William paid a modest £750 per month in rent to Sir George Meyrick, the owner of the property and the estate on which it stands, the largest estate on Anglesey. The house comprised of two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and four bedrooms. Article continues below After their wedding in 2011, and again following the birth of Prince George, the Royal couple returned to Bodorgan Hall. Carole Middleton stayed with Kate and William to assist with the newborn, and according to reports at the time, the Queen's former housekeeper Antonella Fresolone travelled to the island to cook for them.

Kate Garraway takes inspiration from Princess Kate in £45 polka dot tea dress
Kate Garraway takes style notes from Princess Kate in a very affordable tea dress Our go-to source of fashion inspiration at the moment comes from daytime TV, and specifically, daytime TV presenters like Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Lisa Snowdon. They've all been nailing the 'smart casual' but still cool and on-trend brief perfectly, and we're finding plenty of affordable fashion pieces thanks to them. This week, GMB host Kate is introducing us to a dress that looks very Kate Middleton-inspired – and for a very reasonable £45. The Finery London Nieve Crepe Midi Tea Dress has a Princess Kate-like midi silhouette with V neck detailing, pretty buttons and cap sleeves. Polka dots never really go out of style, but this Finery Nieve Crepe Midi Tea Dress makes them feel fresh again. The cut is pure 'throw-on polished' with a nipped waist, gathered bust and flattering V-neckline. The crepe fabric drapes just enough to skim the body, giving it a relaxed attitude that works as well on a desk-to-dinner day as it does on a weekend. The bold red print taps into autumn's cherry colourway trend, while the tea-dress silhouette keeps it wearable and versatile. Its midi length means it pairs just as well with knee boots and a blazer as it does with strappy sandals. We love how Kate (Garraway) styles it to look cohesive with a pair of matching low red heels. Heading into autumn, though, some patent red boots would give a similar colourblock effect while keeping your toes warm. You may have noticed that polka dots have become a print of choice for Kate Middleton – and it's for a reason. Royal experts often speculate why she comes back to dotty designs time and time again for royal engagements, with the consensus being that she wants to appear approachable. "Polka dots are a youthful, approachable and playful design. They can make an elegant and sophisticated style more relatable and are quite easy for high-street designers to produce," style expert Susie Nelson told The Express. " Princess Diana and the late Queen Elizabeth II were fans of polka dots, and they are also worn by Princess Beatrice." Away from Kate GMB dress, you can find plenty of other Princess Kate-inspired pieces on the high street at the moment. Over at Monsoon, can find an elegant and versatile midi dress in Kate's beloved blue and white polka dot print up for grabs for a fraction of its normal price thanks to an end-of-season sale. Touted as the perfect dress for any special occasion, this Sicily Fit and Flair number has been coined by Grazia as the most popular style on the internet. It features a fitted, sleeveless bodice that accentuates and flatters the body, while the fit-and-flare skirt creates a timeless silhouette that looks good on everyone.
