Environment Canada is calling for a high of 28 C on Monday, feeling closer to 37 when factoring in the humidity. There is a risk of thunderstorms late this morning and early this afternoon. Showers are possible on Tuesday and Wednesday, which will see daytime highs of 27 C on each day respectively. A slightly cooler daytime high of 26 C is in the forecast for Toronto on Thursday and the mercury is expected to rise to 28 C on Friday.

Environment Canada's weather outlook for Monday calls for a high of 22 C with a humidex of 30 in the afternoon. Showers are expected to start in the morning with a chance of thunderstorms through the day. Ottawa could see 10 to 20 millimetres of rain. The UV index for Monday is 4, or moderate. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms into the evening with a low of 16 C overnight. Tuesday's forecast has a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers, a high of 25 C and a humidex of 30. The expected UV index is 9, or very high. Wednesday's outlook is partly cloudy with a high of 27 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers. The average high this time of year is around 26 C.
