Samantha Fox, 59, shows off her weightloss and says she 'feels healed' after 'detoxing her body and mind' in Thailand

Daily Mail21-04-2025

Samantha Fox looked incredible as she revealed she felt 'healed' after 'detoxing her body and mind' in Thailand.
The former page three model, 59, showcased her youthful looks as she uploaded a relaxed-looking clip to Instagram on Easter Sunday.
She explained that she had spent the last 11 days at Health Oasis Resort where she had spent time destressing, detoxing and losing weight.
Reflecting on her time away Samantha said: 'Not only do you detox your body and loose weight, I'll tell you that you will lose weight, you will go home feeling so much better.
'I really feel healed. I feel so positive. And I am back again, reading for fighting the year ahead' she added as she revealed she has 'lots of great shows and exciting projects' ahead of her.
'I feel ready. I have never felt so good', she added before encouraging her following to also embark on the retreat to help with healing.
She looked incredible in a blue summer dress after spending 11 days at the retreat
Samantha embarked on a Photonic Atomic program which their website claims to 'address systemic conditions and fundamental shifts', such as 'stubborn weight gain'.
The course can last between five to 28 days and can cost between £1,334 to £4,274.
Samantha chose to go on an 11-day detox which is estimated to cost around £2,114 - which included a 25 percent discount.
Taking to her social media grid, she penned: 'On March the 20th I decided to go on my first ever Health Retreat , took a while to find the right one @health_oasis_resort, one thing for sure it had to be on my favourite Island in Thailand called Koh Samui ❤️
'To my Amazement Koh Samui had Hundreds of Detox and Retreat places to choose from.
'I did my research and definitely didn't wanna posh one ! I wanted somewhere small and personal, typically Thai , untouched and natural with a beautiful calm water beach surrounded by palm trees and Tropical Flowers ( sounds like Paradise I know)
'So one I was going through Reals (as you do) and @health_oasis_resort came up, yes this was the place.
'Looked at the Website and yes it was paradise and included all the treatments I was looking for, It sounded just perfect.
'This week I will post segments of my journey to share with you, love Sammy and Happy Easter.'
Samantha also revealed she had not eaten food in 11 days and her first meal she was given to eat was vegan and consisted of tahini and grains.
According to the site, the therapy that Samantha enrolled on to is split into two: atomic and photonic.
Atomic involves the following guidance: 'Every 3 days a 15 min 9 Solfeggio frequencies & Gamma Brain entrainment – to let go of limiting belief patterns and rewire on an atomic level'
Nine Solfeggio frequencies are special sound tones that some people believe can help heal the mind and body.
While Gamma brain entrainment is a type of sound that tries to sync your brain waves to a very focused, high-energy state.
And the other half involves the photonic therapy which involves 'Every 3 days, 3 Light activation 15 min mini-sessions (a Full-spectrum, a Pineal gland Awakening & Amplified Tachyonic) self-administered in our Light Activation room
'Every 3 days, One full Bio-photonic 60min private treatment – to adjust all imbalances on a photonic level'.
Full-spectrum likely refers to using a wide range of light frequencies (all colors of light/energy) for a general energy boost or balance.
Pineal gland Awakening is the belief of improving intuition, inner vision, or spiritual insight through the pineal gland, which is often called the 'third eye' in spiritual traditions.
Amplified Tachyonic refers to increasing tachyon energy - a concept in some spiritual/quantum healing circles. It's believed to be a fast, healing energy.
The programme claims it helps with 14 main health concerns which included: 'Stubborn weight gain, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, psoriasus, migraines, heart conditions, insomnia, menopause, addictions, depressions, emotional trauma, thyroid and hormonal conditions, hypoglycemia, arthritis, strok and some neurological conditions'.
When people enrol on to the course, they can chose to focus on two of the following conditions: 'Desired weight loss, Stress, Ulcer, IBS & digestive issues, Fatigue, Asthma, Skin conditions, Mental fog, UTI, High cholesterol, Candida, Liver & gall bladder, High blood pressure, Pms & Gynaecological, Prostate and Sexual disfunction'
The resort claim to be a 'detox resort in Koh Samui Thailand who, since 1997, have specialised in detox, fasting, colon cleansing, and holistic weight loss programs.'
Samantha has had a few ups and down over the years as last year saw the model appeared in court to deny assaulting her wife on board a plane.
The model appeared in court in April 2024 and was accused of assaulting her Norwegian wife during a drunken bust-up on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Munich which forced it to abandon take-off.
Sam threatened a police officer when she was arrested and spent a night in a prison cell after the chaos erupted on December 3 last year.
Appearing at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court, Fox admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour and using threatening behaviour, causing harassment, alarm or distress to Police Constable Ashley Smith.
However, she denied an assault by beating charge against Linda Olsen, her wife whom she married in 2022. She will stand trial at the same court on September 2.
Following the December bust-up, the BA plane was turned around and holidaymakers were forced to disembark as a result of the airport's strict 10pm closing time.
Passengers were put up in a hotel as a result before continuing their journey the following day.

Sam was hit by tragedy last year when her sister Vanessa suddenly died of a heart attack.
She met her wife a year after the death of her former partner, Myra Stratton from cancer.
The former glamour model, who suffered a cancer scare herself two years ago after finding a lump in her vocal cords, announced in 2018 she had finally found love again with the Norwegian single mother-of-two.
The couple got married in a lavish Eurovision Song Contest-themed ceremony at the Kings Oak Hotel in Epping Forest, Essex, in June 2022.
She arrived at the ceremony in a white taxi decorated with pink ribbons and a stunning blush heart-shaped floral arrangement on the bonnet, while the number plate read 'Sam and Linda are getting married, 18th June 2022'.
They were forced to postpone their 2020 wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The former model was given away by her mother Carole and stepfather Colin, who walked her down the aisle on crutches after recently breaking his femur.
Sam previously spoke about her relationship with Linda after she left the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017.
'I've now [fallen] in love with another woman,' she said. 'I met somebody a couple of months ago and I'm very happy. As you get older life goes so quick.'
She also discussed her sexuality whilst inside the house, and said she hadn't fallen in love with a woman until she met Myra.
Sam said: 'I just believe that love is far greater than anything. You can't help who you fall in love with.
'If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with them. You can't help that can you.'
Sam has had a string of famous ex's before her marriage to Linda, including serial swindler Peter Foster.
Foster convinced Sam to publicly support his 'weight loss' tea in the UK in the 1980s and the pair commenced a relationship.
Sam , who has also dated Kiss guitarist and lead singer Paul Stanley and Spanish bullfighter Rafi Comino, said Foster proposed but she turned him down.
He cheated on the model and sold the story of their sex life to a tabloid newspaper.
'My parents had split and here was a man who was clever, manipulative and domineering,' Sam once said. 'I came close to marrying him because I was so vulnerable.'
Years after their split Foster suggested that he and Sam make a movie about their lives together but she declined through her lawyer.
'I'm old enough now to know that I'd never be taken in again by the likes of Peter Foster,' Sam told The Guardian in 2002. 'But then, I was 22 and impressionable.'

All of the best vegetable sculptures from the Lambeth Country Show 2025

When it comes to what you can do with vegetables, the possibilities are endless. They can be boiled, steamed, sautéed, roasted, and even turned into fabulous sculptures. Every year, the Lambeth Country Show hosts a hilarious, and frankly iconic, vegetable sculpture competition, where veg-loving artists create weird and wonderful scenes out of only the finest produce. In 2025 the competition saw Donald Trump, Chappell Roan and Mark Rylance recreated in veggie form. But who squashed the competition? And whose leaves were a major flop? Here are our favourite veggie sculptures from this year's country show. WINNER: 'Not In My Broc-Yard' It was the topic of the year: the battle for Brockwell Park. This artwork depicting a very angry broccolli alongside a grimacing 'Mark Pak-Choi-Lance' poked fun at the campaigners trying to stop festivals in the park, which help fund the free to attend Lambeth Country show. 'Not In My Broc-Yard' was one of three entries on this topic, but this feisty broccoli winning took the title with 704 likes on Instagram. Mark Rylunch and his NIMBY campeaners This entry speaks for itself. Chap-peel Roan Pop superstar Chappell Roan got a veggie makeover complete with ginger (carrot) hair. Cornclave (1 and 2) The conclave appeared in two works, as an army of baby corn elected the new pope. Trump goes pukelear Trump, tarriffs, and a stream of veggie vomit. We love the chaos of this one. Twin Leaks RIP David Lynch, you would have loved being recreated as a squash at the Lambeth Country Show. Enjoyed these? Check out all the entries on the Lambeth Country Show Instagram.

Gogglebox star reveals life-changing health diagnosis he's 'hidden for decades'

Former Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig-Webb has publicly shared that he is deaf in one ear after decades of hiding his health condition. The 50-year-old TV personality rose to fame during his five-year tenure on the hit Channel 4 reality series which he featured on with his ex-husband Stephen Webb from 2018 to 2023. Earlier this week he opened up to his 121,000 Instagram followers about the life-changing childhood diagnosis that has 'shaped his life'. 'I've been half deaf since I was a child,' he said in a new interview. He explained that he contracted mumps when he was younger causing an infection which ultimately led to 'complete and permanent hearing loss in one ear.' Before continuing to Scenemag: 'For years, I hid it. I didn't want people to see me as 'different' or less capable. At school, it was tough, I was often picked on and teachers told me I was 'thick' because I struggled to concentrate, not realising it was because I couldn't hear properly. 'It made me really insecure. I thought I was just failing.' He described trying to keep up in social situations 'exhausting' due to his condition and has at times been 'forced to pretend' he could hear what people were saying which took 'its toll'. 'I've had to learn to listen differently, and sometimes I just switch off,' the Hove-based hairdresser added. 'I feel ready to be open about it. At 50, I feel like it's finally time to stop hiding and to be proud of who I am,' he explained alongside his plans to learn sign language to connect with the wider community. 'Deafness isn't a weakness, it's part of me,' Daniel shared hoping to shed light on the 'isolation and frustration' that comes with being hard of hearing. 'It's part of millions of lives. And it should be talked about openly, without shame,' he continued. The latest figures from the Royal National Institute for Deaf People indicating upwards of 18 million adults across the UK are affected by hearing loss or tinnitus. As he enters a new decade he is 'learning to love and accept all parts of [himself]'. Fans have shared their support for Daniel in the comments on Instagram. 'You should never hide yourself you are a beautiful person inside and out,' jopurdy2 said. 'Be proud and loud, love and hugs,' shared. Earlier this year, Daniel opened up about the impact of his breakup with his ex, Stephen. The pair – who had been together for 11 years and married for six – announced their shock break-up in April 2024 but have remained in each other's lives as friends. More Trending In recent interview, however, Daniel revealed that he 'didn't see [the split] coming' and called the end of their relationship 'devastating' and 'traumatic'. Speaking on podcast Suddenly Single, he said: 'We were completely entwined for so long, with our businesses, the dogs, we were so close in everything we did. 'There was nothing underhand happening, no-one had slept with anyone else.' View More » In the end, their differences became too much with Daniel adding: 'Stephen was the complete opposite to me, and we'd say opposites attracted, but fundamentally that was our problem in the end.' Madonna blasted for being a 'hypocrite' as she poses in knickers for photoshoot

The Queen of Pop, Madonna, shared a few raunchy snaps on her social media, but not all of her followers were impressed with her caption Madonna was blasted by fans for being a 'hypocrite' as she told them to 'love the skin they're in' after sharing snaps of her latest raunchy photoshoot. The Material Girl icon, 66, took to her Instagram page to share several snaps of herself donning knickers and a white vest. The singer styled her blonde locks in loose waves and rocked dark eyeshadow with simple makeup. She used a white flower as a prop as she pouted for the camera. In the caption, she wrote: "Love the Skin you're in. Happy Pride," along with the Pride flag and a blue heart emoji. ‌ ‌ She also added the hashtag, Veronica Electronica, in reference to the remix album she's releasing on July 25. The long-rumoured remix album is the accompaniment to her 1998 record, Ray of Light. While many were in awe over the photoshoot, some branded her a 'hypocrite' for her use of filters in her images. One person said: "Love the skin you're in but u use filters all the time lol." "And if you don't love the skin you're in, fill it full of injectables," another said to the star while one fan simply commented: "Oh the irony." Others were quick to compliment the star, with one user writing: "The essence of a woman who continues to defy patterns, break barriers and reaffirm her place as a symbol of reinvention and freedom." "Wow beautiful," one said while another commented: "It doesn't matter who is in office because everybody know Madonna will forever be the queen of pop." ‌ Madonna recently showcased a brunette look on social media and revealed the motivation behind her recent decision to have the makeover. She shared a series of selfies on her Instagram Story. She ditched her signature blonde hair in favour of going brunette in the photos. In one of the posts, she told her followers on the platform that there was a poignant reason being her sporting the new hairstyle. ‌ The La Isla Bonita singer revealed to her followers that the look was inspired by her late mother Madonna Fortin, who died when the Vogue singer was five. The Grammy Award winner wrote over one of the photos: "I missed my Mother so I channeled her." Following her mother's death, Madonna was raised by her father Silvio 'Tony' Ciccone, 93, and her late step-mother Joan Ciccone, who died aged 81 last year. Joan, who had briefly been a housekeeper for the family, married father-of-six Tony in 1966, three years on from his first wife's death.
