Final Destination Bloodlines Day 19 India Box Office: Supernatural horror film holds steady with Rs 45L, total past Rs 50 crore

Final Destination: Bloodlines continues to maintain a steady run at the Indian box office, netting Rs 45 lakh on Day 19, today. This adds to the already impressive local haul of the supernatural horror thriller, cementing its success in the domestic market. The title's India box office performance now stands at approximately Rs 50 crore, combining the stellar collection from its first two weeks and recent daily figures. Below is the detailed breakdown of Final Destination: Bloodlines' India box office collections: Final Destination: Bloodlines is the sixth installment in the popular American supernatural horror franchise, for those uninitiated. Zach Lipovsky directed the much-anticipated continuation of the decades-spanning saga that began as a reboot. Guy Busick and Lori Evans handled the screenplay, featuring Kaitlyn Santa Juana as a college student who inherits premonitions of an avoided 1968 catastrophe from her dying grandmother. As her vision becomes clearer, she discovers death is seeking what it was once denied by closing in on her family. Santa Juana's character must race against time to save her clan from meeting the envisioned tragic ending. The supporting cast includes Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and franchise veteran Tony Todd. After the success of Final Destination 5, the new film, as mentioned earlier, was described as a reimagining of the franchise set in the world of first responders. In October 2020, however, it was confirmed by series creator Jeffrey Reddick that the film would serve as the sixth official installment. Originally slated for a streaming release on HBO Max, Warner Bros. Pictures switched gears in March 2024, announcing a full theatrical rollout instead. The move appears to be paying off well so far, given its USD 229 million worldwide revenue since its May 16 global launch. Bloodlines currently ranks as the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2025. As it continues to perform exceedingly well in India and overseas, Final Destination: Bloodlines reaffirms the franchise's enduring appeal among horror fans.

Sooraj Pancholi says Bollywood is caught in a vicious cycle: It's destroying itself

"I want to go for a holiday, but my PR is not letting me go," Sooraj Pancholi quipped, as we caught up with him over a call on the weekend. The actor's latest release, 'Kesari Veer', may not have performed well at the box office, but his performance was appreciated by both fans and the on the feedback he received, the 34-year-old told India Today, 'My friends and family, of course, liked the film; they are my well-wishers. But many did tell me how I have improved. They mentioned how I am more confident and emoted well. But I am not someone who takes compliments too seriously. Now that the film is done, I am focusing on my next one.'advertisementOne of the most heartening messages came from Salman Khan, whom Sooraj considers a mentor. Recalling the moment, he said with a smile, 'It was a day prior to the release, and Bhai called me home. He just said that it's been a while since I posted a photo with you. Come, let's do it. It was all about that... it was just in the moment of him being him.' Sooraj, the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was under the scanner following the death of his then-girlfriend, actor Jiah Khan, in 2013. In April 2023, a CBI Special Court acquitted him due to lack of asked if what he underwent had left any kind of resentment in him, the actor replied, "I don't know what to say on this, I mean, how do I change so many minds; the damage has been done. How many interviews do I give? How many people do I talk to? It drains me. I am currently living for myself, and am not bothered about what anyone thinks of me. At this point, I really don't care. I just surround myself with good people and motivation. Sometimes, maybe falling in love also distracts you." So are you in love, we asked. "I don't know. I don't know, you know. I am not sure about it," Sooraj replied with a shy made his debut with 'Hero' in 2015, Sooraj also opened up about the negativity that he feels has come to cloud the film industry. He said that the media keeps talking about why Bollywood is not working, and when a film is released, it is that the industry is trapped in a vicious cycle where everyone is feeding off each other, Sooraj said, "Bollywood is destroying itself; they are releasing films on the same day when they have other opportunities. There are big Hollywood films coming in that are eating up the business. My film was released with Mission: Impossible and Final Destination, both very big films. I think the distributors and producers and actors, everyone's just eating into each other's skin, which is, you know, creating a downfall in the industry."When asked what could be the solution to this, Sooraj Pancholi said, "I think people just need to be a little more [kind]. There are no ethics and personal connections any more. I think people need to work on building stronger personal relationships. Nowadays, actors don't want to work with each other. There are producers who are releasing films together because they have a tiff with each other. No one wants to work together. There's a lack of unity, let me put it that way." You May Also Like

Final Destination Bloodlines Box Office: Rises to second highest grossing Hollywood horror film in India

Final Destination: Bloodlines recorded another fantastic weekend at the Indian box office, grossing Rs. 6.5 crore (USD 750K) approx. This marked a superb sub-50 per cent drop from last weekend. The running total for the film stands at Rs. 65 crore approx (USD 7.60 million), making it the second-highest-grossing Hollywood horror film in India, just behind The Conjuring 2. Films from the horror genre have limited appeal at the box office, with only films from the Conjuring universe getting big numbers till now in India. Final Destination had good brand recognition, even though historically, that didn't show up at the box office. There were expectations from the film to change that, and it has delivered on them. The film had a good start at the box office, especially in the context of the box office history of the franchise in India. It had to face competition from Mission: Impossible from just the third day of release, due to which there were concerns of it getting overshadowed, but the film held its ground and has trended superbly since then. The film is on track to cross the Rs. 75 crore mark, which will be a great result for the film. The way it is holding, it might have gotten close to Rs. 80 crore, but the release of Housefull 5 and Thug Life this Friday will probably hit the collection. The Highest Grossing Hollywood Horror films in India are as follows: Rank Title Year Gross 1 The Conjuring 2 2016 Rs. 83.25 cr. 2 Final Destination: Bloodlines 2025 Rs. 65.00 cr. 3 Annabelle: Creation 2017 Rs. 63.00 cr. 4 The Nun 2018 Rs. 62.50 cr. 5 The Nun II 2023 Rs. 54.00 cr. 6 Evil Dead Rise 2023 Rs. 38.25 cr. 7 Annabelle: Comes Home 2019 Rs. 31.75 cr. 8 It Chapter One 2017 Rs. 25.50 cr. 9 The Conjuring 2013 Rs. 24.25 cr. 10 Insidious: The Red Door 2023 Rs. 21.75 cr. For Bloodlines, India is amongst the top markets globally, standing just behind the United Kingdom and Mexico, ahead of other major Hollywood markets. In terms of tickets sold, it is neck-and-neck with Mexico, it will eventually finish as a close second.
