Watch: Lisa says goodbye to Kentaro Sakaguchi in 'Dream' short film
Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Lalisa Manobal, better known as K-pop superstar Lisa, is back with a new music video.
The Thai singer and actress, 28, released the official short film for "Dream" featuring Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi on Thursday.
Lisa portrays a grieving widow in the music video, which opens with a funeral service for her fictional husband (Sakaguchi).
She reflects on moments they shared together as she sings "I know a place where we can be us. I know it ain't real, but it's real enough. From sun going down to sun coming up, it's like you're here with me, whenever I close my eyes."
She remembers a moment in particular when she asked him what he wanted to be in his next life. After she said she wanted to be a tree, he said, "Then I want to become a lake in front of that tree. There's something magical about the way trees reflect on the lake. So I want to be the lake."
The film ends as Lisa spreads his ashes in a lake.
Lisa described the song as "an emotional, beautiful story," in a previous post promoting the music video.
The song is featured on her album Alter Ego, which dropped in February.
Lisa is also a member of Blackpink, alongside Jisoo, Jennie and Rose. The South Korean girl group is on tour through January. They released "Jump," their first single of the year, in July.

'General Hospital' Robert Scorpio actor Tristan Rogers dies at 79
Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Actor Tristan Rogers died Friday at age 79. ABC 7 in California confirmed with Rogers' manager, Meryl Soodak, and The Hollywood Reporter via a statement from General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini. Rogers played Robert Scorpio on the soap opera since 1980. He was introduced as a spy for the fictional World Security Bureau. His most recent appearance was last year, with Scorpio now the District Attorney of Port Charles. He went public with his battle with lung cancer in July. Soodak told ABC 7 Rogers had never smoked. The Melbourne-born Rogers also appeared in The Young and the Restless, Studio City and The Bold and the Beautiful. He did voice work in The Rescuers Down Under, Batman Beyond, The Wild Thornberrys and more. Rogers has TV credits dating back to a 1969 episode of Delta. Notable deaths of 2025

Doris Lockhart Saatchi, 88, Critic and Collector of Cutting-Edge Art, Dies
Doris Lockhart Saatchi, an American-born collector of contemporary art and art writer who played a leading role in giving movements like Minimalism and Pop Art wide exposure in both Britain and the United States, died on Aug. 6 in London. She was 88. Her death, in a hospital, was confirmed by her longtime nurse, Mary Ann Paydoen, who said the cause was chronic kidney disease and other ailments. Ms. Saatchi lived in the Belgravia section of London. It was in the 1970s that she and her husband at the time, the British advertising executive Charles Saatchi, began assembling what The New Criterion magazine described in 1986 as 'one of the finest collections' of contemporary art in the world, buying hundreds of works by artists like Donald Judd, Brice Marden, Andy Warhol, Robert Ryman and Carl Andre. A year earlier, in 1985, the couple had opened a museum for their collection in a converted paint storage warehouse in the North London neighborhood of St. John's Wood. It quickly became a leading showcase for contemporary artists on both sides of the Atlantic, from 'shallow-spaced and gleaming, smooth-surfaced art to an art of porous surfaces, flickering light, and a shifting space,' the art critic Sanford Schwartz wrote in The New Criterion. With Mr. Saatchi's money — he had made his fortune in part as the adman who helped make Margaret Thatcher prime minister of Britain — and his wife's discerning eye, the couple had the resources to give modernist art exceedingly wide visibility in both Britain and America.
