Prince William & Kate Middleton Are Eyeing a Home With a Dark Royal Legacy & They Reportedly Love It
The four-bedroom home was considered modest for a royal family because there was no room for household staff, but the Prince and Princess of Wales wanted it that way. Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, had their parents all to themselves without any outside influence. Now, the royal couple is reportedly ready to move to greener pastures, per The Mail on Sunday.

Nicole Kidman Is the Latest Hollywood Star To Embrace European Living With a Harry & Meghan Twist
The U.K. media outlet is reporting that Kate and William are eyeing Fort Belvedere, a 'gothic-revival mansion nestled in a hidden corner of Windsor Great Park' with a very scandalous past. It was formerly the home of Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne to marry his love, Wallis Simpson. (A story that sort of mirrors Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal story.)
It seems that Kate and Charlotte are pushing for the move because the 59-acre estate features an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court — we know how much the mother and daughter adore Wimbledon! In addition to the A-list amenities, the grounds are stunning with numerous gardens, a greenhouse, stables for horses, two lakes, and cottages for staff members.
'They feel they have outgrown Adelaide Cottage and need somewhere more substantial,' a source told the media outlet, noting that the move is 'imminent' due to their growing needs. 'This is the perfect new home for them. It has a swimming pool and tennis court, and Charlotte loves playing tennis.'
The couple's move to Windsor in 2022 was definitely a pointed choice, and royal expert Ingrid Seward explained to The Sun that year why they made the move. 'I think Wills and Kate need space to bring up their children,' she shared. 'Kensington Palace is a glorious prison for kids — they want to be able to play football without being watched from behind the gates. I think Windsor will be perfect for them, as they will have lots of freedom and they can all be at school together.'
The Wales' were able to spend valuable time with Queen Elizabeth II before her passing, and it was a sanctuary for Kate during her cancer journey. Kensington Palace would have been a paparazzi zoo if they had lived there during her health battle.
William and Kate have continued to prioritize their family's needs over the years, and with the kids growing up, it sounds like they are ready for a little more space to move around. From a four-bedroom cottage to an eight-bedroom mansion, the Prince and Princess of Wales might be leveling up their real estate game.Best of SheKnows

County Durham home salon approved despite neighbour concerns
A Chester-le-Street woman has been granted permission to run a hair salon from her home. Joanne Proctor, of 32 Coquet Drive, Perkinsville, applied to convert a self-contained bedroom into a part-time hair salon. The extension, which has its own front door, kitchen, toilet, and garden access, was initially given planning permission in April 2024 and is already built. Durham County Council made the decision on August 12, despite receiving three objections, including two from neighbouring properties. Concerns raised by objectors included noise, potential anti-social behaviour, parking issues, and a "loss of privacy" due to the side door being used by clients. One neighbour at 33 Coquet Drive expressed worries over "noise and disturbance from equipment, conversations, music, and comings and goings including from additional vehicular movements" and "loss of privacy due to clients using a side door that is next to their property." To address these concerns, the council has imposed several conditions on the salon's operation. These include serving only one customer at a time, by appointment only, with a 10-minute gap between appointments. Additionally, windows and doors must remain closed during treatments. The salon's opening hours are restricted to Tuesday 9am to 4.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 6pm, Friday 10am to 4pm, and alternate Saturdays 9am to 4pm. The salon will use the standard Durham County Council bins for both general and recyclable waste. Highways Authority and Environmental Health (Nuisance Action Team) raised no objections to the plans.

I Will Be Haunted By Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Premiere Glam Forever
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Do you feel that? It's the world shifting to make room for another Jenna Ortega press run. On July 30, Ortega attended the Wednesday season 2, Part 1 Global Premiere in London, and the actress looked like a walking piece of art. From her hair to her makeup, and even her sheer, snake-skin-inspired dress, the star was a perfect example of a grunge moment done right. Let's get into the look, shall we? The actress's makeup was reminiscent of the now-viral beauty trend seen at Maison Margiela's Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show, led by Pat McGrath. Sculptural and breathtaking in its use of color, this look was created by Mélanie Inglessis using a variety of Dior Beauty products. Her complexion was achieved by combining the Hydra Nude Foundation with the Skin Perfect in 3W and 2W, respectively. Inglessis also mixed shades one and two of the contour stick to achieve a dramatic, chiseled effect, then finished her cheeks with a few strokes of the Rosy Glow blush stick in Toffee. Ortega's eye look involved blending different shadow formulas from the brand, most notably, its new Diorshow Stylo in Matte Gray. The lips were kept simple, filled in with only the Rouge Dior Contour in Nude Line. The Wednesday star elevated her glam with an intricate detail added to a mostly classic hairstyle, courtesy of stylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez. She styled a low ponytail positioned to keep her bangs in front of her ears rather than tucked behind them. Then, what appears to be a braid was incorporated into the lower half of the ponytail to serve as a sort of pseudo hair tie, i.e., the chicest hair detail I've seen from a celebrity in a long time. No extra accessories were added, allowing its complexity to truly stand out. Jenna Ortega is known for leaning into Wednesday Addams's gothic-glam aesthetic whenever she promotes her hit Netflix series, and I, for one, am always awe-struck by the looks that her team comes up with. I will be practicing this makeup look at home whenever I can, so keep reading for the products I'll be using for my Ortega-inspired glam, along with tips on how to achieve her hairstyle below. This is one of my favorite Dior products of all time, and it's great to wear under foundation for a touch of extra coverage and glow, as shown by Ortega. $57 at Sephora This Dior stick blush is iconic and it comes in similar packaging to the brand's lip glow balms. Ortega used the shade Toffee, a pearly nude beige. $44 at Sephora Cool-toned eye looks are back, and the matte gray eyeliner that Ortega used as a base for her eyeshadow is a quick way to achieve grungy eyes in just a few swipes. $36 at Nordstrom Save for the braided hair tie, Ortega's hair was pin-straight, creating a striking contrast between the two textures. Achieve a similar sleek look without damaging your strands by investing in a quality hair straightener like this one from GHD. $239 at Sephora It's highly likely that you won't be able to achieve that braided effect with your natural tresses if you have curly hair, so consider using extensions like these. You can pre-braid them into your preferred shape and secure them with a few bobby pins. $12.59 at Target
