Strapi Unveils Live Preview, Strapi AI, Native Integrations, and Free Cloud Plan at StrapiConf

Business Wire13-05-2025

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strapi, the company behind the world's leading open‑source headless CMS, today kicked off StrapiConf 2025, its first‑ever in‑person conference, drawing more than 350 attendees to Paris and thousands of online viewers. Leaders from Adidas, Airbus, Yatra, and more will share real‑world success stories, while Strapi unveils the following product announcements designed to eliminate CMS friction, accelerate time‑to‑market, and preserve headless flexibility.
'From real‑time editing to AI‑assisted schema design, we're closing the gap between idea and launch while keeping the freedom of a fully headless architecture,' said Pierre Burgy, Strapi co‑founder and CEO.
Live Preview (Live Now)
Editors can now update content on the left side of the admin panel and watch their site refresh instantly on the right, no tab‑switching or rebuilds. The one‑screen workflow cuts review cycles, reduces errors, and speeds up publishing without sacrificing the flexibility of a headless setup.
Strapi AI Content‑Type Builder (Private Beta)
A conversational co‑pilot that turns a project brief, code repository, or Figma link into complete content models in seconds. Developers describe their vision, and Strapi AI proposes Collection Types, Components, and relationships, complete with visual change‑tracking and drag‑and‑drop re‑ordering, turning hours of manual content modeling into minutes. This innovation addresses a well-known issue: poor content structure can cause performance bottlenecks, make projects harder to maintain, and create a frustrating editing experience for marketing teams.
Free Strapi Cloud plan (Live Now)
Ideal for prototypes and very simple blogs and websites, the new Free plan offers generous storage and bandwidth with no credit card needed. When projects mature, paid tiers add extra environments, automated backups, and higher limits so teams can scale seamlessly.
AWS Marketplace Listing (Live Now)
Enterprises can deploy Strapi production clusters via AWS Marketplace in a few clicks, enjoying unified AWS billing and 24×7 infrastructure support. The listing removes procurement hurdles and accelerates time‑to‑value for large organizations.
Cloudinary, Shopify, and BigCommerce Integrations & Homepage Widget API (Available Now for all v5 users)
Built‑in Shopify and BigCommerce product pickers let marketers attach products without plugins and a Cloudinary media picker enables easy asset reuse. The new Widget API lets developers customize the homepage, to include calendars, analytics, or custom workflows, tailoring the CMS to unique business processes.
'From real‑time editing to AI‑assisted schema design, we're closing the gap between idea and launch while keeping the freedom of a fully headless architecture,' said Pierre Burgy, Strapi co‑founder and CEO.

DAT: Typical May truckload rates, volumes masked tariff turmoil

BEAVERTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spot truckload van and refrigerated freight volumes rose modestly in May as shippers positioned inventory ahead of summer and potential tariffs, said DAT Freight & Analytics, which operates the DAT One freight marketplace and DAT iQ data analytics service. The DAT Truckload Volume Index (TVI) reflected typical seasonal changes: Van TVI: 247, up 3% compared to April Refrigerated ('reefer') TVI: 200, up 5% Flatbed TVI: 309, down 4% Year-over-year monthly comparisons for van freight were negative for the second consecutive month, slipping 1.4% compared to May 2024. The Reefer TVI was up 6% year over year and the Flatbed TVI increased 3% compared to May 2024. Spot van, reefer rates gained Amid relatively steady freight volumes, spot van and reefer rates increased solidly: Spot van: $1.99 per mile, up 3 cents from April Spot reefer: $2.36 per mile, up 9 cents Spot flatbed: $2.57 per mile, unchanged The van linehaul rate averaged $1.62 per mile, up 5 cents month over month, while the reefer rate rose 10 cents to $1.95. The flatbed linehaul rate increased 1 cent to $2.12. Typically, van and reefer rates rise in May as demand to move produce and retail goods ahead of the Memorial Day holiday increases, and drivers plan downtime around the three-day Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Roadcheck enforcement event in the middle of the month. 'The averages signaled normal seasonality in May, although in reality, there were swings in rates and volumes from week to week,' said Ken Adamo, Chief of Analytics for DAT. 'Between Roadcheck, Memorial Day, and shippers adjusting imports due to tariffs, it was an uneven and challenging month for carriers, brokers, and shippers.' Contract rates slipped Contract truckload rates dipped compared to April: Contract Van: $2.39 per mile, down 1 cent month over month and 4 cents lower year over year Contract Reefer: $2.72 per mile, down 2 cents and 7 cents lower year over year Contract Flatbed: $3.07 per mile, down 1 cent and 3 cents lower year over year The DAT Truckload Volume Index reflects the change in the number of loads with a pickup date during that month. A baseline of 100 equals the number of loads moved in January 2015, as recorded in DAT RateView, a database tracking rates paid on an average of 3 million loads per month. DAT benchmark spot rates are derived from invoice data for hauls of 250 miles or more with a pickup date during the month reported. Linehaul rates deduct an average fuel surcharge amount, which was 37 cents, 41 cents, and 45 cents for vans, reefers, and flatbeds, respectively. About DAT Freight & Analytics DAT Freight & Analytics operates DAT One, North America's largest truckload freight marketplace; DAT iQ, the industry's leading freight data analytics service; Trucker Tools, the leader in load visibility; and Outgo, the financial services platform. Shippers, transportation brokers, carriers, news organizations, and industry analysts rely on DAT for market trends and data insights, informed by nearly 700,000 daily load posts and a database exceeding $1 trillion in freight market transactions. Founded in 1978, DAT is a business unit of Roper Technologies (Nasdaq: ROP), a constituent of the Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, and Fortune 1000. Headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, DAT continues to set the standard for innovation in the trucking and logistics industry. Visit for more information.

Circle Internet (CRCL) Hits 5th All-Time High in June as Senate OKs Stablecoin

We recently published a list of These 10 Stocks Boast Double-Digit Gains Amid Boring Market. Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) is one of the best-performing stocks on Thursday. Circle Internet jumped by 33.82 percent on Wednesday to hit its fifth record high just this month, following the Senate's passage of Stablecoin legislation. On Tuesday, the Senate gave its green light for the GENIUS Act, which provides a federal government framework for use of the cryptocurrency whose value is tied to the US dollar. This would allow financial companies such as banks, fintech, and retailers, among others, to use stablecoins. The news followed Circle Internet Group's (NYSE:CRCL) announcement earlier this week that its USDC stablecoins are being adopted by retail giants Amazon and Walmart, as well as e-commerce operator Shopify. According to Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL), Shopify began rolling out its feature that enables merchants to accept USDC stablecoins—a cryptocurrency founded by its founders Jeremy Allaire and Sean Neville—for payments and order fulfillment flows. A wide angle view of a bustling cityscape, capturing the potential of the consumer internet. Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) also said that it partnered with blockchain firm Ripple to bring USDC stablecoins to the latter's XRP Ledger blockchain as well as with digital identity company World for the addition of USDC and CCTP V2 (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) on World Chain. While we acknowledge the potential of CRCL as an investment, our conviction lies in the belief that some AI stocks hold greater promise for delivering higher returns and have limited downside risk.
