Hellier to keep investing in Yeovil despite selling
Hellier stepped down as chairman on Monday and confirmed plans to sell the Glovers citing abuse he had suffered online from fans. Robins has taken on the role while a new owner is found.
Businessman Hellier took over Yeovil in June 2023 but has been involved in a hostile relationship with sections of the fanbase for some time, including exchanging abuse of his own via social media and issuing banning orders from games.
"We're being supported by the Hellier Group and I've been given some good assurances that that will continue," Robins told BBC Radio Somerset.

Hellier, a long-time Yeovil fan and previous club sponsor through his firm, took over the Glovers during another turbulent period two years ago, following a failed takeover attempt by the SU Glovers and their relegation from the National League.
The club won promotion from National League South at the end of last season and are 14th in the fifth tier.
Accounts released for the 2023-24 season show that debts total £2.8m and Robins said it was now "absolutely critical" that new investment was brought in.
"I don't think we're any different from a lot of clubs at this level and indeed above," Robins said.
"It's not great reading but my major task now is to bring in new investment and that will hopefully bring bigger and even better times to Huish Park and Yeovil Town."
Robins said the past weeks had been "challenging" and that it had "gotten very, very difficult" between Hellier and the fans.
"We're in a position now where we can hopefully move forward and get the Park packed again and the supporters enjoying good days out again," he said.
Robins added he was looking into the banning orders issued by Hellier - the fans behind Gloverscast, an unofficial club podcast, are among those who had been sent letters telling them to stay away from matches.
"It's right at the top of the agenda and we will be addressing that very soon," Robins said.
"I'm a supporter, I've been through it myself as a supporter and I want everyone to be really proud of being part of the club that I and everybody loves, so that's a really high priority as well"

'Getting better': Still not 100%, Elly De La Cruz flashes speed again for Cincinnati Reds
ANAHEIM, California – Before the opener of the Cincinnati Reds' three-game series this week against the Angels, a Southern California writer asked Reds manager Terry Francona how much he appreciated Elly De La Cruz playing through the 'little quad' issue he's been dealing with much of the summer. 'I'm not sure I'd say 'little,' ' Francona said. 'I mean, that thing was pretty (not little). He's done a really good job.' Over the weekend Francona suggested the worst of the issue was behind De La Cruz. And then in the second game of the Angels series, the two-time All-Star shortstop flashed the kind of ground speed that backed up his manager – scoring twice from first on balls that barely reached the outfield. 'He's the only guy in baseball that scores on those,' Francona said. Asked if those 270-foot sprints that had been missing from his arsenal for more than a month were a sign the left quad injury is behind him, De La Cruz said, 'We're getting better.' So it's not quite 100%, he was asked. 'We're getting better,' he repeated. Whatever his level of quadriceps health, those two runs Tuesday night represented the winning margin in a 6-4 victory that lifted the Reds to a season-high seven games over .500 (67-60) and kept them just one game back of the New York Mets for the final playoff position in the National League. 'He's had to manage that quad for a while, and I think he's managed it really well,' Francona said over the weekend. 'I think he's coming through the other side of that to where his speed is up. It's not quite where it would be, but he's on this (improving) trajectory.' Whether it's impacted his power, De La Cruz – who leads the Reds with 19 home runs − has hit only one since June 23. He also leads the Reds with 31 stolen bases, but that's far off the pace of his league-leading 67 total last season, and he has just six attempts since the All-Star break (6-for-6). But he's still getting hits and getting on base, including a .263 average and .333 on-base percentage in his last nine games. The Reds are 6-3 in those games. 'It's about everything,' he said. 'We've got to find a way to win. Every day. Every day we play together and we find a way.' De La Cruz hasn't missed a game this season and is emphatic about wanting to stay in the lineup. Broken thumb lands Cincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson on injured list
ANAHEIM, California – After several days sidelined by a sore left thumb, the Cincinnati Reds sent starting catcher Tyler Stephenson for imaging that revealed a small fracture on the tip of the thumb that landed him on the injured list, retroactive to Aug. 17. It's the second injury blow in less than a week for the Reds, who trailed the New York Mets for the National League's final playoff position by one game with 35 to play. Rookie pitcher Chase Burns went on the IL over the weekend for a Grade 1 flexor tendon strain. It's not yet clear whether this is a regular-season-ending injury Stephenson might be out, the team said. He's to be examined further when the team travels to Arizona later in the week for a series against the Diamondbacks. The process for now involves Stephenson being able to work back into playing form as he's able to tolerate the pain. Stephenson, who said early in the week that the injury wasn't initially considered serious enough to warrant x-rays, tested the progress of the injury by catching Nick Lodolo's bullpen session Tuesday in Anaheim. He originally hurt the thumb catching a Hunter Greene pitch last week on what seemed like a routine play. "Super random," he said. When it flared up during the next game, he was sidelined and missed the next four games until the IL move. Jose Trevino, the former Platinum Glove catcher who has caught every inning since, assumes full-time starter duties. The Reds called up Will Banfield from Triple-A Louisville.
