King Charles has expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy following the incident during Liverpool FC's Premier League victory parade on Monday, calling the incident 'truly devastating' in a message shared on the official social media channels of the Royal Family.
'My wife and I were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the terrible events that took place in Liverpool,' the King said. 'What should have been a joyous celebration for so many ended in distressing circumstances,' he added.
