Urgent search for Irish Lotto winner as deadline looms to collect life-changing prize

What would you do with a spare €500,000? One Lotto player may not even know they have won the life-changing prize, as the National Lottery is urgently searching for the lucky punter.
Lotto bosses are urging Daily Millions players to check their tickets carefully as they could be missing out on a massive half a million, which has yet to be claimed.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought at Tesco, Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Co Dublin, on the day of the draw.
Lotto ticket holders have just 90 days to claim their prizes, meaning that the unaware player has just four weeks, more specifically, until close of business on Thursday, June 26.
National Lottery spokeswoman Emma Monaghan has urged all Dublin players to check their Daily Millions Plus tickets from late March carefully to make sure they don't miss out on the eye-watering sum. She said: 'We are hoping to hear from a Daily Million Plus player in Stillorgan who won €500,000 in the 2pm draw on Friday, 28th March.
'The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre.'
She added: 'Players have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, so the final deadline is Thursday, 26th June.

If you happen to have the winning ticket, Lotto bosses are urging you to sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.
Contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize at Lottery HQ.
The urgent search comes not long after an Irish EuroMillions player scooped over a quarter of a million euros in the 8th EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle.
The winner hasn't come forward as yet, but the all-important winning raffle number is I-SDL-14299.
The Quick Pick winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at the Applegreen Store on Newfoundwell Road, Greenbatter, Drogheda, County Louth.
In addition to the usual €5,000 Raffle prize, this Louth winner has received an additional prize of €250,000, resulting in total winnings of €255,000, following the EuroMillions draw on May 27.

The National Lottery revealed the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday, August 7, from Gala Express in Courtown Harbour, Co Wexford. While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth over €197.5m, more than 68,000 players won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws. This includes the Wexford player who won the top prize worth €500,000 in the Plus draw after matching all five numbers. The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions Plus draw were: 5, 21, 26, 27, and 40. A spokesperson for the National Lottery, Darragh O'Dwyer, has urged Courtown players to check their tickets. 'The seaside town of Courtown in Ireland's sunny southeast has produced a top prize winner in the EuroMillions Plus draw worth an astounding €500,000,' he said. "If you bought your ticket in Courtown, now's the time to double-check, you could be Ireland's newest big winner,' he added.
