She described the collection as a long-cherished dream, thanking the Kerala Government Nurses Association (KGNA) for its support and Rasaq Kalleri for facilitating them to publish it through Noura Publications. 'I have been encouraged to publish poems after sharing them on social media, but as a nurse, I did not think it was possible to get them published,' said Sindu T. A., nurse at Kozhikode Beach Hospital. She also gave the collection its title, saying that writing gives her the much-needed 'thanal'(shade) from her intense profession. A. K.
