FULL WRAP: Windies fight back in second Test
Australia slumped to 2-12 at stumps on day two of the second Test in Grenada, leading by just 45 after bowling the Windies out for 253.
Konstas was left shattered after he was out for a duck, playing onto his stumps from a Jayden Seales delivery.
The 19-year-old, in just his fourth Test, looked better in the first innings with 25, after scores of 3 and 5 during the opening match of the series in Barbados.
Australia were left reeling at 2-4 when Khawaja, 19 years Konstas's senior, was trapped lbw by Seales.
The veteran left-hander was again exposed by a right-arm quick coming around the wicket.
Nathan Lyon was sent out as nightwatchman, still with 18 minutes until stumps, but was able to navigate the tricky period with Cameron Green.
Replying to the Aussies' 286, West Indies limped to tea on day two on 7-185.
But some crucial lower-order runs from Shamar Joseph and Alzarri Joseph helped the hosts cut Australia's lead to just 33 when they were dismissed for 253.
Australia's legendary bowling attack shared the wickets around, with Lyon (3-75) leading the way.
Josh Hazlewood (2-43) and Pat Cummins (2-46) were typically dangerous, while Travis Head's part-time off-spin was successfully used to find the 10th wicket to wrap up the innings.
When opener Kraigg Brathwaite fell without scoring off the 11th ball of the day, caught and bowled by Hazlewood, it was just the tonic the tourists needed.
And when Keacy Carty was dismissed by Cummins for six in the ninth over, the Aussie attack looked in the mood to inflict serious damage.
It was, indeed, a magnificent moment for the Australian captain, the ball hanging in the air for a seeming eternity before it began to fall to where a bat-pad would have been.
Cummins made ground in his follow-through and timed his dive perfectly to complete the catch.
It got even better when John Campbell, the other opener, was sent back to the pavilion, caught by Mitchell Starc off Beau Webster after a brisk 40 that included five boundaries.
Left-hander Campbell tried to loft over the leg side but could only lob the ball high into the air and straight down the throat of Starc at mid-on.
The West Indies stood on a fragile-looking 3-64.
But then the home side steadied, losing no more wickets before reaching lunch on 3-110. Brandon King (39) and Roston Chase (16) steadied the West Indies with a 46-run fourth-wicket stand.
Just one more run had been added when Chase fell lbw to Hazlewood.
Cummins removed Shai Hope to leave West Indies on 5-169, and the home side were faltering again when King's defiance was ended four balls later, caught by wicketkeeper Alex Carey off Nathan Lyon and given after a review.
West Indies currently trail by 45 runs and are yet to bat in the second innings.

'Over the last one or two starts, he was slowly away and he gets back and starts to lose interest. I was really happy when he jumped and Ang kept pushing forward. 'The pace was a little bit fast early but she pushed him forward and got him balanced once she got him to the lead. 'Gee he surprised me when he kicked away. He is a horse with promise but there's two of them.' The emphatic victory came 10 years after mighty mare Winx won this race, then called the Sunshine Coast Guineas, as part of her incredible 33 consecutive victories before she retired in April 2019. Reigning Melbourne Cup champion Knight's Choice also won the Winx Guineas in 2023, with Jaden Lloyd on board.

Grafton preview: Trainer David Vandyke to unleash three strong contenders including Lucifer's Way to add to his impressive stats
Former Sydney and now Sunshine Coast based trainer David Vandyke is very astute in finding just the right race for his horses which is reflected in his amazing strike rate. Vandyke has prepared over 770 winners in his career at an amazing strike rate of 21 per cent along with over 980 placegetters at 48 per cent. Vandyke makes a rare trip back across the border this weekend ready to hit the target with three strong contenders and add to his impressive statistics. Leading the charge is Lucifer's Way who broke through for his maiden success at start three with a head win from Atomic Gozen on his home track on June 22. 'He's a lovely horse but just hasn't put it together as expected on race day,' said Vandyke. 'He got there last start. It wasn't impressive but the got the job done.' 'She has come on nicely from the win.' The four-year-old will appreciate a step up in trip when she contests the Who's Charlie Here On South Cup Sunday Class 1 Handicap (1190m) where she is at double figure odds. 'I think this mare will be competitive if she gets a decent run from the gate,' Vandyke said. 'The distance will suit her much better and at the price, she is worth the price of a bus ticket each-way.' 'He is a half-brother to Slippin Jimmy who won at Grafton (on Cup Day) last year,' said Vandyke. 'He's showing some of the family traits. He's got speed and he's tough. Josh Parr keeps his form surge going as Cloudland storms home for another first-up win at Rosehill
Jockey Josh Parr continued his late season form surge when propelling eye-catching grey Cloudland to another first-up triumph at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday. Parr and Cloudland powered home from just worse than midfield, surging down the middle in the straight to stylishly score in the Foundation Female Member Benchmark 88 Handicap (1200m). It was in stark contrast to his earlier all the way victory on Storm The Ramparts but brought up another winning double for the in-form hoop. Parr, who had a treble seven days earlier at Rosehill Gardens, endured a somewhat lean winter in Brisbane but has been riding the crest of wave since turning his focus back to his home state and is eager to keep the hot streak going. 'When a jockey is in form and confident, things just happen and they happen without you even thinking about it,' Parr said. 'You just have ride the wave and everyone is on that rollercoaster. 'You've got to enjoy it when it's here.' Cloudland was a three-time winner fresh before Saturday but the Kris Lees -trained galloper was sent out as a $21 outsider in his return. Parr would have been smiling to himself during the run with a genuine tempo affording runners back in the pack with every chance. He hit the front on Cloudland inside the final 150m and held the Joe Pride -trained Cosmonova ($9.50) to a length margin with J ames Cummings ' Fleetwood ($11) close up in third. 'He gave me a really good effort today,' Parr said.
