CHEERS star George Wendt's death was caused by multiple factors, his death certificate has revealed.
The actor, 76, was found dead at his home last month exactly 32 years after the final episode of Cheers aired.

Wendt died of cardiac arrest, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
His death was also caused by underlying issues like congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and hypertension, according to the death certificate obtained by TMZ.
Kidney failure and high cholesterol also contributed to his death, officials said.
The star was pronounced dead at 10 am on May 20 after dying peacefully in his sleep at home.

He was cremated on May 28.
His family said in a statement at the time, 'George was a doting family man, a well-loved friend and confidant to all of those lucky enough to have known him.
"He will be missed forever. The family has requested privacy during this time.'
Wendt starred as Norm Peterson in Cheers from 1982 to 1993.

The music world is mourning the loss of legendary R&B singer Wayne Lewis, one of the founding members of chart-topping group Atlantic Starr, who has passed away at the age of 68, as confirmed by the band. The star's death occurred on Thursday, June 5, however, no cause of death has been disclosed. The sad news was shared via a Facebook post by the band: "It's with great sadness we have to post the passing of Wayne Lewis on June 5, 2025, please keep the family in your prayers and respect their privacy #waynelewis #restinpeace #flyhigh Sunrise 4/13/1957 Sunset 6/5/2025 #restinpeaceWayne," they wrote. Fans were left heartbroken by the news and took to social media to express their grief. One fan posted on Facebook: "Heartbreaking news.
