Katie Price and Peter Andre's ugliest TV row that broke marriage as Princess' show debuts

Daily Mirror10 hours ago
Katie Price and Peter Andre's non-stop bickering was always dismissed as a bit of harmless 'banter' by the couple
Katie Price and Peter Andre's non-stop bickering was always dismissed as harmless banter by the dupo.

But their final TV spat - caught by cameras filming Katie and Peter: Stateside - was far more than just a petty lovers' quarrel. Explosive scenes airing on ITV2 in 2012 showed the couple embroiled in an ugly and bitter row that signalled the end of their three-year marriage.

In shocking scenes, Peter is heard calling then wife Katie a 'talentless diva' and a 'miserable and arrogant cow' while Katie fires back by calling him being a washed-up singer, before raging: "I can't stand you."

Both Katie and Peter said later that filming in Los Angeles signalled the end of their marriage.
From battling to see who was more famous in the US to launching a tirade of insults at each other, the fight, shown on episode 4 of the series, was for many the moment fans also knew Katie and Peter were over.

Transcript of the bitter row:
Katie: When someone knows who you are and you come into a shop and you're blatantly lying, you look a t***.
Peter: Really? Shhh Kate, zip it. [To assistant] So, have you heard of Kate?
Assistant: I'm not sure.

Peter: [To Katie] How do you feel now? How do YOU feel?
Katie: You're a f****** knob, I can't stand you.
Peter: Ahh, did I hurt your feelings? Did he not know who you were?

Katie: Oh, as if I'm bothered. No one knows who you are, you're an old f****** singer no one knows about.
Peter: You've got a real attitude problem.
Katie: Get over it Pete. I want to go home.

Peter: I'm so glad you guys are here to film this...
Katie: I'm so glad too so you know what a k**b you are.
Peter: You can see what kind of a stupid, miserable, arrogant cow she is.

Katie: Arrogant, what 'cos I'm talking to someone genuinely and you're sitting there f****** lying? I can't stand liars.
Peter: Really? You've got f****** issues. I can't wait for you to watch this back and see how miserable you are.
Peter tells Katie she always wants her own way.

Katie: I'm the one making money Pete, so course I can have it how I want.
Peter: What, don't I make money?
Katie: I don't know, do you? Hurts, doesn't it?

Peter: You know what? You really, seriously, seriously are a psycho. I hope you are f****** proud of yourself.
Peter ends the argument by calling Katie a 'stuck-up diva' moments after their manager Claire stepped in to break it up.

It was a sad end to the couple who had captivated the nation when they met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Met Out of Here! in 2004. They tied the knot a year later and went on to welcome two children.
The early years of their romance was captured almost continuously by documentary cameras - with their daughter Princess now following suit and landing her own reality show.
The drama has started before the show has even aired with Katie's mum accusing Peter and Princess of blacklisting her from the show.
The mum-of-five had insisted she was banned from her daughter's 18th birthday party and that her former management team – who look after ex-husband Peter and Princess – did not want her on the show as they considered her 'trash'.
Speaking on her podcast, Katie claimed: 'Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming'.'
She added: 'The fact is there's stuff my daughter is doing and I'm not allowed to be seen at any of it.'

Biggins claims he wants to 'grab women' in bizarre defence of Gregg Wallace

Christopher Biggins has spoken out in defence of Gregg Wallace following his axing from the BBC. The MasterChef host was sacked earlier this year, with the Beeb vowing never to work with him again after several allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour were made. After an investigation was carried out, 45 out of the 83 accusations against Wallace were upheld, with one including unwanted physical contact', while co-presenter John Torode was also found to have used racist language, of which he claims to have no recollection. Consequently, both hosts were let go, sending MasterChef's latest series into carnage. Now, in the aftermath of the scandal, fellow TV personality Biggins has reflected on his own past behaviour, admitting that some of it would likely 'land him in prison' today. The 76-year-old pantomime star, who is gay, claims that 25 years ago, 'everyone' was doing things they shouldn't. He told The Sun: 'Years ago, I would approach a woman from behind and grab her t***ies from the front. Well, I'm gay, so it didn't matter. And I'd like to still be doing it, but I don't think I can anymore.' Biggins, who appeared on Celebrity MasterChef in 2014, added: 'If I were to do that now, I'd be put into prison. 25 years ago, we were all doing it. It was a thing of affection.' The I'm A Celebrity campmate proceeded to declare solidarity with Wallace, 60, who has been married to Anne-Marie Sterpini since 2016. 'I love Gregg, and I love his wife. I've tried to get hold of her because they must be going through a terrible time, because suddenly careers are vanishing; it's so wrong.' Throughout his lengthy career in showbiz, Biggins has had his own fair share of controversies, most notably during his Celebrity Big Brother stint. In 2016, he entered the house alongside the likes of Stephen Bear, Frankie Grande, James Whale, and Samantha Fox. He was ultimately removed from the house, having received warnings on several occasions for offensive language. The final incident involved Biggins calling AIDS a 'bisexual disease'. Upon his ejection, he said he was 'very sorry and very sad', but his £100,000 fee was reportedly still slashed. These days, Biggins continues his theatre and comedy work and maintains an active social media presence. As for Wallace, he has continued to pledge his innocence since the allegations against him surfaced, insisting that the most serious claims were unproven in the legal review. The TV chef has also alleged that the BBC's production team discriminated against him due to his autism, having been formally diagnosed only recently. Friends of Wallace have also said that his 'autistic hypersensitivity' meant that he had an 'oddity of filters and boundaries', leading to his 'inability to wear underwear'. Such statements have repeatedly been shot down by autistic charities and campaigners, with a spokesperson for the National Autistic Society telling Metro last month: 'Every autistic person is different, just like every non-autistic person is different, so it is important not to generalise or make judgements based on the actions, words, or behaviour of any one individual.' The latest series of MasterChef, which was recorded before the scandals emerged, is currently on air but has been dealt a huge blow in loss of viewers due to Wallace and Torode, 59, hosting. More Trending Just under two million people tuned in to the first episode, which is a significant drop from last year's premiere, which saw 2.7m watch overnight. It remains to be seen whether the Torode Celebrity MasterChef series, alongside Grace Dent, or the two festival specials he is set to feature in, will still be released. The BBC has yet to announce who will be replacing Wallace and Torode, who have fronted the cooking programme since 2005. Currently, the favourites are Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt and Great British Menu's Andi Oliver. A report by law firm Lewis Silkin found there were 27 substantiated claims against Wallace relating to alleged incidents during this period, most of which related to sexually explicit comments. One allegation of unwanted physical contact during this timeframe was also substantiated. The report found that when concerns were reported to the production company during this period, there was a failure to retain records of any action taken. The report found that 17 upheld allegations relate to this period. In 2015, the production company behind MasterChef investigated an allegation about Wallace's behaviour, but he was not made aware of the complaint. The following year, the production company merged with Endemol, and more formal policies, regular training, and anonymous reporting lines were introduced. The BBC intervened in response to a complaint in 2017, following which Wallace was warned of the need to change his behaviour. One substantiated complaint about an inappropriate comment fell into this period. Wallace faced allegations of inappropriate sexual comments from 13 people across a range of shows over 17 years, BBC News reported. The TV star stepped away from presenting MasterChef while Banijay, the show's production company, announced that it was conducting an external review to 'fully and impartially investigate' the claims. BBC News said allegations include the presenter 'talking openly about his sex life, taking his top off in front of a female worker saying he wanted to "give her a fashion show", and telling a junior female colleague he was not wearing any boxer shorts under his jeans'. The charity Ambitious About Autism said it had dropped Wallace as an ambassador, citing the 'recent allegations'. Banijay UK confirmed it appointed law firm Lewis Silkin to lead the investigation into Wallace's alleged behaviour. Wallace said in a video posted to Instagram that accusations about him making sexual comments towards staff and guests have come from 'middle-class women of a certain age'. Downing Street said Wallace's response to the accusations being made against him was 'inappropriate and misogynistic'. A spokesperson added that Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy had held talks with BBC bosses in the wake of the Wallace row. Following the backlash, Wallace apologised for any 'offence' or 'upset' he caused with his remarks and said he would 'take some time out'. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said politicians should be ready to put in place 'mechanisms' that would instil 'confidence' that women will be taken seriously in reports of inappropriate behaviour after a Labour MP asked him about 'women of a certain age', reflecting comments Wallace apologised for. MasterChef co-presenter John Torode said in a social media post that he 'loves being part of' the programme and 'will continue to be a part of it'. Wallace told the Daily Mail he 'thought about suicide all the time' after allegations of misconduct were made against him. Wallace was sacked as MasterChef presenter following the inquiry into his alleged misconduct by production company Banijay. BBC News said it had not seen the final review from Banijay but understood the presenter had been sacked. In an Instagram post, the former greengrocer claimed he had been cleared of the 'most serious and sensational accusations' ahead of the published review. He also said he recognised that some of his humour and language were inappropriate 'at times' and apologised for this. The report by law firm Lewis Silkin for Banijay is published. It says that a total of 45 out of the 83 allegations made against Wallace during his time on the show were substantiated, including one allegation of 'unwelcome physical contact'. It concludes that the 'majority of the substantiated allegations against Mr Wallace related to inappropriate sexual language and humour', adding that 'a smaller number of allegations of other inappropriate language and being in a state of undress were also substantiated'. In the wake of the report's findings, Banijay say that 'Wallace's return to MasterChef (is) untenable'. Rebel's Romance and Loughnane rock in Germany

Billy Loughnane registered his first Group One victory when guiding globetrotting superstar Rebel's Romance to the Westminster 135th Grosser Preis von Berlin at Hoppegarten on Sunday. A firm favourite of trainer Charlie Appleby, the seven-year-old began his Group One haul in this very race back in 2022 and three years on he was back in the German capital to strike for the eighth time at the highest level. Keen to keep things simple Rebel's Romance was up with the pace throughout the early stages, keeping close tabs on Andre Fabre's Junko and when straightening for home he showed his class to bravely hold off the French challenger. It was in fact a fourth Group One success on German soil for the well-travelled dual Breeders' Cup Turf hero who could return to Del Mar for another crack at the season-ending showpiece, with Coral making him the 5-1 co second-favourite for a third Stateside victory. Appleby said: 'It's great for Billy, but more importantly great for the horse who keeps sparkling on all continents. 'To have him carry on at the top level is fantastic for Sheikh Mohammed and I see this as a pre-cursor for the Canadian International at Woodbine and then the Breeders' Cup.' Loughnane has ridden eight winners from 12 rides for Appleby this season and it is fitting his first success at the top table comes in Germany, having notched his first Group-race triumph at Cologne in April last year. It caps a memorable weekend for his teenage pilot who also won the Sweet Solera Stakes in the royal blue of Appleby and Godolphin aboard Dance To The Music at Newmarket on Saturday. Loughnane told Wettstar: 'This is a feeling I can't describe, it's a feeling of ecstasy, what a horse and I'm very lucky to be riding in these colours and riding a horse like this. 'He's a star of a horse and has been going for a good few seasons now. Big thanks go to William Buick and I spoke to him last night and he told me exactly what to do. He's a superstar.' Meanwhile, the 19-year-old's father Mark Loughnane was the proudest man on Wolverhampton racecourse having watched his son's finest hour from Dunstall Park. He told Sky Sports Racing: 'Words can't describe something like that and it is something Billy has dreamt about all his life, it was amazing. 'I had an even-money favourite in the first but I was more on my phone watching Billy and we can't thank Mr Appleby and George Boughey and people like that enough. His agent Tony Hind has done a super job and they've all really catapulted Billy to the next level but as a dad, I'm proud as punch. 'When it was talked about he might be riding Rebel's Romance he rang me straight away and was like a child in a sweet shop and he said 'I'm on this horse of Mr Appleby's and it's going to be great'. I told him just to relax as a lot can happen between races. 'I've spoken to him on the phone and he's absolutely elated. I was the first one on the phone and he's bouncing and for a young fellow, he's a super young man. What he's done in a short space of time, I've helped him get started, and now that's it off he goes. 'It's awesome for our house and as a family, his mum is here racing today and we're all absolutely cock-a-hoop for him.'

Peter Andre left 'feeling sick' as daughter Princess, 18, reveals shocking DMs

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Peter Andre was left horrified when teenage daughter Princess revealed the messages she receives from men on social media. The 18-year-old, whose parents are Australian pop star Peter, 52, and former glamour model Katie Price, 47, is following in her mum and dad's footsteps by venturing into showbiz. Princess has collaborated with fast fashion giants Shein and PrettyLittleThing on Instagram ads and was recently confirmed for her own reality show on ITV. However, the budding influencer, who boasts 774,000 followers on Insta alone, is quickly learning that there's a dark side to being a public figure. In the first episode of her show, The Princess Diaries, doting dad Peter has a candid conversation with her about online trolling, resulting in disgust as Princess digs out some harrowing DMs. 'What ya doing?', Peter asks as they sit together on the sofa, to which she replies: 'Reading comments.' 'People saying they wanna see my feet,' Princess laughs, to which Peter's expression quickly turns to one of concern. 'What? They wanna see your feet? When did this start happening?', he quizzes, taken aback. As Princess says that it's been happening throughout the last year, the Mysterious Girl singer begs: 'Please God, that's the only thing they ask for?' Unfortunately, that isn't the case, as Princess reveals that men have also sent her messages celebrating the fact that she's 'finally legal'. 'You find out who that was, flipping heck!', declares Peter, his head in his hands. Princess then scrolls through her messages to show her dad the reality of being a young female influencer in 2025, hesitant to even expose him to what she's on the receiving end of. 'I don't actually know if I want to show you,' she admits, but tells cameras in a cutaway clip that she 'doesn't want to hide stuff from him'. After digging out one example of 'disgusting' direct messaging, Princess hands her dad the phone, to which he physically recoils. 'I didn't think it was gonna be like that,' he retorts, deeply disturbed. 'Oh my God. 'That really has made me feel sick, like, in the pit of my stomach.' The reality star adds to his daughter: 'I hate it because you're still my baby. How old is this dude? Oh my God, what's his name? Where does he live?' When Princess explains that the individual in question has an anonymous profile, Peter asks whether she feels 'distressed' reading such comments. 'That's life, that's social media,' she states, informing her dad that she can't simply 'get rid of it' because it's now her job. The Insania singer then expresses regret over letting his daughter use social media at a young age, having always felt fearful of the unknown due to the likes of Instagram and TikTok not existing when he started out. Peter has long been protective of Princess, as well as his other kids. He also has Junior, 20, with Katie, as well as Theo, Amelia, and Arabella with wife Emily Andre, 35. However, having a father in the industry has been a huge help to Princess and her brother, who is forging a music career for himself. Speaking ahead of the launch of The Princess Diaries, Junior told This Morning: 'Growing up in the public eye comes with its pros and cons. We keep a lot of things private; people think they know a lot more than they do. 'We're normal and humble; we don't feel different to anyone else. We're all human.' Princess added that while she expects some 'negativity', her parents have taught her 'how to deal with it'. 'There are horrible people, but we just have to deal with it.' More Trending Alas, the launch of the teen's reality show hasn't been without drama, due to reports of her feuding with mum Katie, who claimed she was 'banned' from appearing in the programme. Speaking on her podcast with sister Sophie, the reality icon said she felt 'upset' after allegedly being told she was 'not welcome' on the set. Addressing the speculation, Princess later told the Daily Mail: 'It's my show; it's not based on my parents; it's focused on me. To be honest, there's no rift between me and either of my parents.'
