50p with unusual error making it worth 80 times its face value
An expert explained how to spot the specific error that makes it so valuable Brits have been told to look out for a 50p coin that could be worth more than 80 times its face value. This coin, from 2017, has sold in the past for as much as £40. But why is it so valuable? It's all to do with a specific error that could be hard to spot. In a video uploaded to social media platform TikTok, an expert called the Coin Collecting Wizard told his followers about the Benjamin Bunny 50 pence piece. The coin was part of a set of four released in 2017 to honour Beatrix Potter's legacy, which also includes Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten, and Jeremy Fisher. But the Benjamin Bunny coin stands out due to a minting mishap. This error results in Queen Elizabeth II appearing to face the wrong direction. The coin expert said: "Did you know if your Benjamin Bunny 50p has a rotation error, then it's worth a lot more than 50 pence? "So you know what to look for, this 50p error coin is rare all because a part of the design is facing the wrong way." He explained: "The error that's left the Queen's head in a different direction, on the obverse, to the design of Benjamin Bunny on the reverse will have happened in the minting process. "When you flip it round, the Queen should be facing up the same way as Benjamin Bunny. If the Queen is facing any other way, then you have found a very rare rotation error worth money." This coin is still in circulation so it could be hiding in your change. "Error coins are still legal tender, so long as the original coin is still in circulation too," he continued. "That means you could easily come across one in your change. Oftentimes, error coins will sell for a lot more than their face value. "So this is definitely something you need to be looking for as it can be easily missed. So next time you come across the Benjamin Bunny 50p, flip that rabbit over and check the Queen. Good luck." Last year, The Sun highlighted a case where one of these coins fetched £40 - a whopping 80 times its face value of 50p. And in 2021, another coin from the same batch was reportedly snapped up for an eye-watering £255 on eBay. At the time of reporting, a graded edition of this coin was listed on eBay for £312.72.

British man orders pint in Benidorm but is totally floored by price
A British man recently visited Benidorm and ordered a pint at a well-known bar. He was floored when he was told the price of the tipple, and what it would set him back A British man ordered a pint in Benidorm but was left totally floored by the price. The man, who appears to be no stranger to Spain, was taken aback when he was told how much a drink would set him back at the popular holiday hotspot. Known as the Benidorm Fanatic to his TikTok followers, he told people he headed to Uncle Ron's bar, which is said to be "famous" for its pints, notable for how cheap they're sold for. As he ventured to the venue, he was left astoudned at the price list, as he seriously got a lot for his money. In the clip, he said: "I tell you what, I believe it's actually a very, very nice pint as well, so it comes to the equivalent of about 84p in British money. Let's go and try it out, shall we? Let's give it a try." After he made his way to the bar, he added: "So there you go, I'll give you a euro, a €1 pint, and I'll take that. Let's try this €1 pint. Look at that - a nice, clean, cold pint. It's got a nice, good head on it - let's try it. "That is actually one of the best pints I've had in one of the popular bars. That is actually one of the best pints I've had in Benidorm to be honest with you. €1, I'll drink them all day." Since he shared the video, many people have viewed it, and they were quick to comment too. They shared their thoughts, and some posted their own Benidorm stories. One said: "Wow." Another shared: "I was there last week." A third replied: "Lovely pint. Had many." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "Bargain." If you've never heard of Uncle Ron's before, it's a popular spot for British tourists in Benidorm. As well as being known for its cheap drinks, it also serves food too. According to TripAdvisor, the venue serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also has 3.8/5 rating on average, according to the review platform. Many people say it's worth a visit if you're looking for a reasonable meal and a few drinks while on holiday. In the review section, one person wrote: "Had a fantastic breakfast at Ron's today. Lovely English produce. Great service. Brilliant staff. "A massive group came in, but they were serviced promptly. Don't know how they manage with so few staff." Another said: "Last day we visited for some lunch before heading to airport. Left full, which is always a good thing. In all my times of going here, never left unhappy at the service nor the food - always really good." A third replied: "We went many times during our two-week holiday. The staff are friendly and extremely hard working day and night. "Cheapest drinks you will find in town and food to suit everyone (daily deal only 6 euros). It's not a stylish 5* restaurant but then you wouldn't expect it. "For drinks just go to the bar like a normal bar. Always busy Sunday and Friday, so expect to book if you want a Sunday lunch. Would we go again? Certainly would!"

Zara McDermott's impressive weekly wage from TV career amid Louis romance
Zara McDermott's earnings have been revealed as the former reality TV star turned presenter's stock continues to rise at the same time she's enjoying a new relationship with Louis Tomlinson Zara McDermott's impressive weekly TV salary has been revealed with the reality star's pulling power growing. The former Love Island star, 28, is currently dating ex- One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson. But as well as finding time for her newfound romance, Zara is continuing with her production work in front of the camera. According to Zara Nicole McDermott Limited, the private firm where her earnings are stored, she bagged a hefty £4,438 per week last year. The documents filed at Companies House showed the star's profits sitting at £230,805 for the year. Her assets were seen to be sitting at £705,688, with the star retaining £540,718 after bills. According to the documents, her assets comprised £523,030 in cash, £161,431 in investments, £14,929 in and tangible assets at £6,298. Zara Nicole McDermott is one of two active businesses listed for her on Companies House. The other firm, Tiger Mac Properties, was set up last year with its nature of business listed as 'buying and selling of own real estate.' Zara has become a mainstay in front of the camera. She has recently been the face of BBC documentaries involving sensitive subjects, including Revenge Porn, Uncovering Rape Culture, Love in the Flesh and Disordered Eating. As well as her blossoming career, she has a newfound romance with 33-year-old Louis following her shock split from Sam Thompson at the beginning of the year. Louis and Zara have been seen smitten on vacation together recently, with the pair spending time in Costa Rica. At the end of last month, the pair looked head over heels as they enjoyed a drink at a beachside restaurant in the country. The couple recently confirmed their romance after they were spotted packing on the PDA while holding hands. It's claimed Louis splashed the cash to fly Zara 5,000 miles to join him while he was in Costa Rica and working on his upcoming album. In pictures shared last month, the duo shared a passionate kiss at the Banana Beach Restaurant by the ocean. The Love Island star, who previously dated Sam Thompson for several years, wore the ultimate summer attire featuring a white crop top and matching skirt which she accessorised with gold statement earrings. Her arms were wrapped around her new man's neck, while Louis held on to her waist as they leaned in for a kiss. One moment showed him place his arm over her chest and shoulder as the two laughed together. Louis's sister Lottie recently opened up about their relationship. She joked she was waiting to put Zara on babysitting duties.
