Lotteries are the game of chance — but what are the chances of the same number appearing multiple times? As they say in the lottery business, 'it could happen to you."
The number 20 appeared five times in just over two weeks and four Powerball drawings — or seven Powerball drawings between Feb. 19 and March 5 (see below for the roundup).
Though no one matched all six numbers in the Wednesday, March 5, Powerball drawing, the jackpot jumped to $320 million for Saturday, March 8. The one-time lump sum would be $150.2 million, according to Powerball online. Check back after 11 p.m. EST for Saturday's winning numbers. We'll see if there's a winner, a rollover or another appearance of the number 20 in this Powerball draw:
Wednesday, March 5, winning numbers were 24-28-40-63-65 and the Powerball was 20.
Monday, March 3, winning numbers were 18-20-50-52-56 and the Powerball was 20 (the number 20 appeared twice in this drawing).
Wednesday, Feb. 26, winning numbers were 28-48-55-60-62 and the Powerball was 20.
Wednesday, Feb. 19, winning numbers were 6-21-28-49-60 and the Powerball was 20.
The number 20 did not appear in the Saturday, March 1, Monday, Feb. 24, or Saturday, Feb. 22, Powerball drawings.
What are the odds? Powerball numbers on 2/22 'angel numbers' day included 22, 2x Power Play
Tickets start at $2 a piece. Below is what to know about lottery odds, how long to claim the cash option if you bought a ticket in Florida, and what happens to unclaimed prize money, according to the Florida Lottery.
Good luck!
Powerball drawings are at 11 p.m. EST Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Check back after 11 p.m. for Saturday, March 8, winning numbers. We'll see if there's a winner or another rollover.

Powerball drawings are at 11 p.m. EST every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, including holidays. The next Powerball drawing will be Monday, March 10.
Prizes for Florida Lottery must be claimed within 180 days (six months) from the date of the drawing. To claim a single-payment cash option, a winner has within the first 60 days after the applicable draw date to claim it.
The Florida Lottery says its scratch-off tickets and Fast Play game prizes "must be claimed within 60 days of the official end-of-game date. Once the applicable time period has elapsed, the related Florida Lottery ticket will expire."
Powerball drawings are held at 11 p.m. EST Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. According to Powerball.com, players have a 1 in 292.2 million chance to match all six numbers. Prizes range from $2 to the grand prize jackpot, which varies.
According to Florida Lottery's website, winners cannot remain anonymous: "Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide records containing information such as the winner's name, city of residence; game won, date won, and amount won to any third party who requests the information."
However, the site states, the "names of lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner."
Lottery experts and lawyers have said there are ways to remain anonymous if you win.
