98.5 The Sports Hub continues reign atop Nielsen Audio Ratings

But it is notable that 'Felger and Mazz' fell from an 18.4 share last spring.
Their ratings were also down in the winter, from a 19.8 from January-April 2024 to a 15.7 this year over the same span.
Summer ratings don't matter much, but if the ratings slip continues in the fall, when the Patriots are back, it will be a concerning trend for a show that has set the ratings bar staggeringly high for more than a decade.
In morning drive, The Sports Hub's 'Toucher and Hardy' took first with a strong 17.7, followed in second place by WEEI's 'The Greg Hill Show' (7.8).
In middays, The Sports Hub's 'Zolak and Bertrand' show claimed first with a 12.5 share, with WEEI's 'Jones and Keefe' program finishing tied for third at a 5.9.

From 6-7 p.m., The Sports Hub's 'The Baseball Hour' tied for second with a 7.7. WEEI, which usually has Red Sox pregame in that hour, tied for 17th (1.8).
At night 7-midnight), The Sports Hub — with Joe Murray's show and Celtics and Bruins games — took third with a 6.8. WEEI, which has Christian Arcand's show and the Red Sox at night, was tied for 10th (3.7).

Rafael Devers breaks out of slump with two home runs for Giants
Rafael Devers appears to have broken out of his slump. The Giants designated hitter hit two home runs on Wednesday in San Francisco's 9-3 win over the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. The first came in the top of the fifth when Devers hit a solo homer to right to give the Giants a 1-0 lead. The second was a two-run blast an inning later to extend the lead to 6-0. The four-RBI day came days after president of baseball operations Buster Posey preached patience for Devers amid his slump. At the time of Posey's comments, Devers was batting .206 with two home runs and 10 RBI with 36 strikeouts in 27 games. 'It's an adjustment period,' Posey said during a recent appearance on KNBR. 'This guy's been in one organization his entire life, and now to come over, everything's different. Not just the ballpark and teammates, but where you're living. So, it's an adjustment period. It's just a matter of time before he gets going.' Devers' big game also comes after he scored two runs in his debut at first base on Tuesday night, but he returned to the lineup as the DH on Wednesday. Giants in spiral since Rafael Devers trade as postseason chances dwindle
Rafael Devers was supposed to add some pop to the San Francisco Giants' lineup after he was traded by the Boston Red Sox. Not only has that not happened, the Giants appear to be in a free fall. The Giants are 2-8 in their last 10 games, have lost seven consecutive home games and are 13-23 since they traded for Devers. At 54-54 going into Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, they find themselves on the outside of the postseason picture and have a 16.1% of making the playoffs, according to FanGraphs. When Devers was traded, he was hitting .272 with 15 home runs and 58 RBI for the Red Sox. Despite a rough start to the 2025 season, he began to find a groove. But the same can't be said during his time in the Bay Area thus far. In 36 games for the Giants, Devers has a .224 batting average and has struck out 48 times. He's also struggled at times defensively at first base — which is to be expected given he's never played the position before. Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey preached patience for Devers amid his slump, and it appeared to pay off when he had a two-home run game earlier this month. But now it's as if he couldn't carry that momentum over. It's not solely on Devers for the Giants' spiral, and now they have some decisions to make at the MLB trade deadline as they sit nine games behind the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers. New rankings show Red Sox have plenty of prospect ammo for deadline deal
Baseball America's new prospect rankings are out, and even with Roman Anthony and Kristian Campbell graduating, the Red Sox still have six players in the Top 100. That means Craig Breslow has plenty of ammo if he chooses to upgrade the big league roster at Thursday's trade deadline. Though he's been on the big league roster, Marcelo Mayer is still Boston's highest ranked player at No. 11 because he hasn't yet hit 130 at-bats in the majors (127). It'd be a massive surprise if he was dealt this week. Boston's biggest riser within the rankings is left-hander Payton Tolle, who has shot up to No. 49 overall. 'Tolle has shown a significant velocity bump sitting 94-96 mph with the plus fastball shape that got him drafted and massive extension,' Baseball America writes. 'Now in Double-A, Tolle has seemingly gotten better by the start so far this season.' Next is shortstop Franklin Arias at No. 57, who is already in High-A at 19 years old, and then recently selected first-rounder Kyson Witherspoon debuts at No. 66. Left-hander Brandon Clarke follows at No. 81, and Baseball America has been stunned his rise. 'There are very few lefthanders that sit in the upper 90s after being drafted, and even fewer that feature a plus slider,' Baseball America writes. 'The Red Sox fifth-round pick has had more helium than any prospect to start 2025. He's gone from unranked in their Top 30 to a Top 100 prospect in a few months time.' Jhostynxon 'The Password' Garcia rounds out Boston's prospects at No. 95, as the outfielder continues to hit for some average (.291) and power (.524 slugging percentage) in Triple-A Worcester.
