After the Teen Mom stars shared that their 15-year-old daughter Carly's adoptive parents Brandon Davis and Teresea Davis closed their adoption, the couple revealed they have also lost all communication with the family.
'Brandon and Teresa straight up told our adoption counselor Dawn, 'Yeah, I had to block her for my mental health,'' Catelynn shared with castmates Kailyn Lowry and Maci Bookout on the March 27 episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. 'And I was, like, 'Your mental health, your mental health?' I mean, it was like anxiety. I literally felt every emotion come up of when I hugged her in the hospital and told her bye.'
'Dawn says, like, 'Oh, Teresa said, you guys are going to have to have a talk, that she needs to have a very sincere apology,'' she added. 'I said, 'You? You need an apology? For what? For me putting the truth out about how you are as a human and what you did to us. I deserve a f--king apology.'

Catelynn—who, along with Tyler, placed Carly for adoption in 2009—claimed that Teresea and her husband don't want the pair to contact Carly, even if it's a special occasion.
'She straight up told Dawn to tell us that we're not allowed to send gifts anymore because it's uncalled for,' Catelynn explained. 'She said, 'But tell them they can't tell anybody I said that.' And I said, 'Well, f--k now, I'm saying it. I'm spilling it from the rooftops.''
Tyler added, 'You have my kid, you can't take my story, too.'
Catelynn—who went on to welcome kids Nova, 10, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 3, with Tyler—shared that amid all the drama between them and Carly's adoptive parents, they have to deal with comments from other people who do not believe they should have access to their daughter.
Later in the episode, while sitting down for a podcast episode with TikToker Jordy Cray, Tyler vented his frustrations against people who feel their public statements about their situation aren't helping them with potentially having a future relationship with Carly.
'I don't care about Brandon and Teresa right now,' he said. 'Now that the access is taken away, it's like, well, then…'
'Our main goal for putting stuff out publicly was because if Carly has a chance of being able to see that we never stopped trying, she deserves to know that in my opinion,' Catelynn interjected. 'Also, it is bringing awareness to everybody that is involved in adoption.'
According to Tyler, there is a lot of the story he and his wife have chosen to keep private, because of the perception their daughter may have around them in the future.
'We didn't speak on a lot of things that happened behind closed doors because,' he said. 'I want to. That's priority number one is being able to see her and have access to her.'
But according to Catelynn, Teresa and Brandon's biggest issue with their daughter stemmed from her relationship with their other children.
'Carly's always said, 'This is my sister.' So, I thought it was an okay thing,' she explained. 'So, I just went with it. Teresa said the word sisters just really gets me.'
'It doesn't sit right with me,' Tyler added. 'Should we say birth sister? What would you prefer? And she literally didn't really have an answer.'

Bill Maher explains how Trump and Musk went from ‘Brangelina' to ‘Godzilla vs. King Kong'

The fiery feud between President Trump and Elon Musk is the most exciting public breakup since the days of Brangelina, according to Bill Maher. The late-night comedian compared the public warfare and vitriol to that of 'Godzilla vs. King Kong if Godzilla was on ketamine and King Kong had a combover.' The big beautiful break-up is even more shocking because Trump and Musk were 'so close,' like celebrity couples Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie, and Ben Affleck and Jen Lopez, whose seemingly strong but ultimately whirlwind romances gripped tabloids for decades. Advertisement 3 Bill Maher compared President Trump to King Kong if he 'had a combover.' AFP via Getty Images 'They had their own couple name: E-lump,' Maher said. But like the actor pairings, the Musk and Trump demise was a long time coming, he continued. Advertisement 'I can't really think of anything other than the Trump-Elon [fight],' Maher said in his opening monologue Frday for HBO's 'Real Time.' The talk host did a brief rundown of the pair's political breakdown, pinpointing the potential beginning of the end to Trump's meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office last week when Musk showed up sporting a black eye. 3 The feud started when Elon Musk declined Trump's offer to borrow makeup, according to Maher. Getty Images The President claimed he offered makeup to the former Department of Government Efficiency head, but was turned down, which he found 'interesting.' Advertisement 'Yeah, weird, Elon, what sort of man turns down makeup?' Maher chided. The feud slowly simmered as the pair lobbed further accusations against one another, including Musk claiming Trump's tariffs would cause a recession and the President responding that no one wants to buy Tesla's electric vehicles — but 's–t got real' when Musk claimed he was the reason Trump won the election. 3 Trump and Musk had their own couple name, Maher aid: 'E-lump.' MAX 'And Trump said, 'Well, you know what Mars is a s–thole planet.' And Musk said, 'Oh my god, you are not the same man I used to heil,'' Maher said. Advertisement The fighting has only grown worse in recent days, with Musk shockingly claiming on X that Trump's involvement in the Epstein files is the reason they haven't been released. Musk has since deleted the X post. Trump, on the other hand, has tried to play it cool, saying he hasn't given much thought to his former 'First Buddy.' 'The stakes are so high because the winner faces Blake Lively,' Maher joked, referencing the recent public downfall of the actress's previously beloved image. Any good feeling between the two men is likely gone after Musk stepped up his criticism of the Trump-backed 'Big, Beautiful Bill' — and then called for the impeachment of the president and a new political party to challenge the GOP.
