Who does Duke basketball play next in the 2025 NCAA Tournament? Sweet 16 bracket update
The Duke Blue Devils took down a friendly face in the second round of men's NCAA Tournament, vanquishing former captain Jeremy Roach and the Baylor Bears on Sunday, but a less welcome familiar foe awaits in the regional semifinal.
Thanks to an 87-83 victory over the Oregon Ducks on Sunday night, the Arizona Wildcats advanced to the East region semifinal to set up another postseason battle with former North Carolina Tar Heels star Caleb Love. Love, who spent three seasons in Chapel Hill before transferring to Arizona, and Thursday will be his 10th career battle against the Blue Devils. He's only faced Duke once in during March Madness: UNC's infamous Final Four victory in legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski's final season, when Love scored 28 points.
Here's a full look at Duke's next NCAA Tournament matchup.
Who does Duke basketball play next in March Madness?
The Blue Devils will play the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday night. Duke beat the Wildcats on the road back in November, a 69-55 victory powered by 24 points from Flagg and a 43-30 rebounding disparity in the Blue Devils' favor.
Duke basketball vs Arizona game time
The Blue Devils and Wildcats will play at approximately 9:40 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, March 27. Duke's game will follow the Alabama Crimson Tigers and BYU Cougars, the other Sweet 16 matchup in the East region.

Duke basketball vs Arizona prediction
Arizona is admittedly in some great form, winning five of its last six games and leading the No. 1 seed Houston Cougars in the other, but the Wildcats lost five of their last eight regular-season games before that. It's worth some alarm that Arizona is 22/45 (48.9%) from 3-point range in the tournament thus far and 59/136 (43.4%) over its last seven games after a below-average shooting season, but the Wildcats probably need to stay on that same pace for an upset. Duke's size and perimeter shooting will win out, but the last first half and early second half could feel tense.
Prediction: Duke 83, Arizona 74

Chris Pollard takes two key Duke players with him to Virginia
Chris Pollard takes two key Duke players with him to Virginia Not a great start to the post-Chris Pollard era of Duke Blue Devils baseball. Star player AJ Gracia and Kyle Johnson are both heading to Virginia to join Pollard with the Cavaliers. It stings when you lose any player to the transfer portal, but it feels like a double dose when they go to a fellow ACC rival. Gracia hit 15 home runs this past season and drove in 54 runs while batting .293 and drew 57 walks. Last season, he ended the year with 14 home runs and 58 RBIs. He was a career .299 batter for the Blue Devils, and now he takes his talents to Charlottesville. Johnson is a Virginia native and will return to his home state with the Cavaliers. The two-way player finished the year 4-4 with 43 strikeouts to 26 walks. His ERA was a bit high at 7.19. He added four home runs and 19 RBIs as a hitter for Duke this past season. Kendall Rogers of D1 Baseball reported the news of Gracia and Johnson following Pollard. The Blue Devils have yet to name a replacement for Pollard as the new head coach of Duke baseball, but many believe it will be Josh Jordan, who is currently the assistant coach at LSU. He was a long-time assistant under Pollard with the Blue Devils from 2012 to 2022. He helped LSU win a national championship, and many hope he will bring that level of aspiration to Durham.

Packers QB Jordan Love Opens Up on Facing Mentor Aaron Rodgers in Week 8
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love runs with the ball against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Nov. 12, 2023. -- Ed Thompson / Steelers Now Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love weighed in on the Pittsburgh Steelers' signing of four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers. It's not something that surprised Love, but he's happy for his mentor and former teammate. He also looks forward to facing Rodgers in Week 8 when the Steelers and Packers square off on Sunday Night Football at Acrisure Stadium. It will be Rodgers' first meeting against his former team since departing Green Bay after the 2022 season. Advertisement 'I was excited for A-Rod,' Love said in an interview with Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee. 'I don't feel like I was too surprised. There were a lot of rumors going on the whole offseason about him going to the Steelers. I was excited for him that he was going to keep playing. It's going to be fun, it's going to be awesome. I'm excited for it. I can't wait to be on different sides meeting up and I know we'll talk pregame and things like that and hopefully we can exchange jerseys after.' Love, who was the Packer's first-round pick in 2020, sat behind Rodgers for three years before the future Hall of Fame quarterback left for the New York Jets in 2023. The Love era that started in Green Bay. Love has repeatedly expressed his appreciation for Rodgers' support and guidance, citing the lessons he learned from Rodgers in areas like footwork, how he approached the game, and his interactions with teammates. Brett Favre didn't necessarily welcome Rodgers with open arms in 2005, but that wasn't the case for Love. Rodgers made sure to be a good mentor. Rodgers can become one of five quarterbacks in NFL history to beat all 32 teams with a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 8 at Acrisure Stadium. It will be Rodgers' first meeting against his former team since departing Green Bay after the 2022 season. Advertisement The storylines for the Steelers-Packers showdown on Sunday Night Football will be endless. With a win over the Packers, Rodgers will join Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees on the all-time list of QBs to beat all 32 NFL teams. Rodgers is on the verge of breaking several NFL milestones in his 21st season. He needs just 1,337 passing yards to surpass Ben Roethlisberger for the fifth-most all-time, and needs six passing touchdowns to surpass Favre for fourth-most all-time. Team president Art Rooney II revealed that the Steelers will wear new alternate uniforms and a new alternate helmet against the Packers in Week 8. Advertisement 'We are going to have a new throwback uniform this year, and with a new helmet to go with it,' Rooney said in his statement released on the Steelers' official website. 'We're planning to wear our new throwbacks for the Packers game on Sunday night, Oct. 26. It'll be fun to wear our throwbacks against one of the older franchises in the league – that just seems to be appropriate. We'll be doing our Color Rush uniforms late in the year. I think we're going to do it for the Monday night game on Dec. 15 against the Miami Dolphins.'
