Popular reality TV star Arbaz Patel, known for his appearances in Bigg Boss Marathi, Splitsvilla X5 and more, is all set to welcome Eid with great enthusiasm and warmth. With a career that's constantly buzzing, Arbaz has always found a way to balance work and personal life, and this festive season, he is looking forward to some much-needed relaxation and bonding.
Speaking about his plans, Arbaz shared, "Well, in today's daily life amidst the hustle and bustle, festivals are the only time periods where the entire family looks forward to coming together and having a nice time."
The actor admits that the past few months have been packed with professional commitments, making this upcoming break even more meaningful.
"Personally for me, the last few months have been quite hectic and occupied with work and as an artiste who's mostly occupied with work, you look forward to such festivals for a bit of break and rejuvenation."
When it comes to Eid traditions, Arbaz believes in keeping things intimate and close to the heart.
"Eid for me is all about good quality food and time spent with my loved ones. I am going to be spending quality time with family and mostly, some friends will also be coming over post afternoon."
He adds, "I like to keep my celebrations private and subtle and this year too, it's going to be exactly that. Wishing all my fans and well-wishers Eid Mubarak. May Allah bless us all."

Smoky Dal Gosht Ingredients For the Lentils 100g Tata Sampann Unpolished Masoor Dal (½ cup) 50g Tata Sampann Unpolished Toor Dal (¼ cup) 2g Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder (½ tsp) 600ml Water (2½ cups) For the Mutton 500g Mutton (bone-in) 20g Ghee (1½ tbsp) 200g Onion, thinly sliced (2 medium) 150g Tomato, chopped (1 medium) 20g Ginger-Garlic Paste (2 tsp) 5g each: Tata Sampann Red Chili, Cumin, Coriander, Garam Masala Powder (1 tsp each) 250ml Water (1 cup) Final Enhancements 30ml Coconut Cream (2 tbsp) 2g Tata Sampann Kasuri Methi (1 tsp) 15g Fresh Coriander, chopped 20g Fried Onion (2 tbsp) 1 piece Charcoal (~25g) + 1 tsp Ghee (for smoke infusion) Instructions 1. Cook the Lentils Soak dals for 15 mins. Pressure cook with turmeric and water for 4–5 whistles or until soft. Blend into a smooth puree. Set aside. 2. Cook the Mutton Heat ghee, sauté onions till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add mutton, sear for 4–5 mins. Add tomatoes and cook till soft. Add powdered spices and salt. Stir in water. Pressure cook for 4–5 whistles or simmer till mutton is tender. 3. Combine & Simmer Mix blended lentils into cooked mutton. Add coconut cream and simmer for 10 mins. Add crushed Kasuri methi. Simmer for 2 more mins. 4. Infuse Smoky Flavor (Dhungar) Heat charcoal until red-hot. Place it in a small bowl inside the pot. Drizzle ghee on charcoal and immediately cover. Let it smoke for 2–3 mins. Remove charcoal. 5. Garnish & Serve Top with coriander and fried onions. Serve hot with rice or naan. Sheer Khurma with Orange Twist Ingredients 1 cup Tata Sampann Vermicelli (Seviyan) 1 liter Milk ¼ cup Sugar (adjust to taste) 1 tsp Orange Zest (+ extra for garnish) 6–8 Tata Sampann Dates, chopped ¼ cup Mixed Nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews), chopped ½ tsp Cardamom Powder A few strands Tata Himalayan Saffron 2½ tbsp Ghee Instructions Roast Vermicelli: In ghee, sauté vermicelli until golden and aromatic. Boil Milk: In another pot, bring milk to a boil. Add roasted vermicelli and simmer for 5–7 mins. Flavor Base: Add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron, and orange zest. Mix well. Add Dates: Stir in chopped dates to infuse natural sweetness. Sauté Nuts: In ½ tbsp ghee, sauté chopped nuts until golden. Finish: Stir nuts into Sheer Khurma. Top with a pinch of orange zest. Serve warm or chilled. Mutton Poha Biryani (Perfect for Eid) Ingredients Mutton Preparation 500g Mutton (bone-in) 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste 2 large Onions, thinly sliced 4 Green Chilies, sliced 1 tsp Tata Sampann Red Chili Powder ½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Tata Sampann Garam Masala Whole spices: 2 Bay Leaves, 1" Cinnamon, 4–5 Cloves, 2–3 Cardamoms, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds ½ cup Yogurt 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Salt to taste 3 tbsp Ghee Poha Layer 2 cups Tata Sampann Thick Poha Water to rinse ½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder Garnishing 2 tsp Saffron Strands in Warm Milk 1 tbsp Mint Leaves, chopped 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander, chopped ¼ cup Fried Onions 1 tbsp Tata Sampann Cashews (Fried) Instructions 1. Cook the Mutton In ghee, sauté whole spices until fragrant. Add onions and cook till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste. Sear mutton for 5 mins. Mix in powdered spices, salt, yogurt, and chilies. Cook until oil separates. Add water as needed. Pressure cook for 3–4 whistles or simmer till tender. Finish with lemon juice. 2. Prepare the Poha Rinse poha under cold water and drain. Sprinkle turmeric. Set aside. 3. Assemble & Layer In a heavy pan, layer half the mutton, then half the poha. Repeat. Ensure poha is the top layer. Drizzle saffron milk on top. 4. Garnish & Cook Top with mint, coriander, fried onions, and cashews. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 mins to let flavors meld. top videos View all 5. Serve Mix layers gently before serving. Serve hot with cucumber raita and Sheer Khurma. Dipika Kakar , recently diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer, underwent a challenging 14-hour surgery earlier this week. Thankfully, her condition has now stabilized, and she has been shifted out of the ICU. Even amid the tough situation, Dipika and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim observed Eid with a simple and peaceful celebration in her hospital room. Shoaib offered fans a glimpse of their intimate Eid moments, showing how their family lovingly ensured the occasion felt special even during this tough time. Shoaib shared a touching moment on Instagram, posting a story that featured him and Dipika holding two sparkling envelopes. The thoughtful Eidi was sent by his father, adding warmth to their hospital-bound Eid celebration. Shoaib captioned the story, 'Dipi aur mere liye papa ki taraf se eidi aayee. Eid Mubarak.' On June 6th, Shoaib shared a vlog in where he informed fans about Dipika's surgery and gave her health update, he even thanked the fans for their prayers for Dipika. Shoaib shared, "Tomorrow is Eid Al Adha and today on such an auspicious day Dipika is out of the ICU. I am really grateful that she is out of the ICU and she is with us. She will be here for a few days as the surgery was major, she was in the OT for 14 hours." He further shared, "We all were tensed as doctors had mentioned it would be a long surgery. She was taken in at 8:30 am and she came out of the OT at 11:30 pm. I then met her when they shifted her to the ICU. At 6-7 pm, we all panicked as there was no update from the OT as we had never witnessed such a serious surgery. Thankfully, the doctor had assured me that if they don't come out for updates, then the surgery is going fine and she will be all well. " Shoaib mentioned about how Dipika also had a stone in her gallbladder which got removed during the surgery, "The doctors even removed Dipika's gallbladder as they detected stone and they had to cut a small portion of the liver as the tumor was cancerous. The doctors mentioned that the liver is a self-restorative organ so it shall heal itself with time. So it is not something to be stressed about but we have to stay cautious and take good care. Muslims across the globe are preparing to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, one of the most significant festivals in Islam. Actor Rumi Khan is looking forward to celebrating the festival in Mumbai this year. He said, "Every year I celebrate the festival with my parents in my hometown Indore but this year I'm here in Mumbai. As currently I'm shooting for my show in Amgaon. But I have got my Eid off. A small break in which travelling back home wasn't possible. So I'm here in Mumbai, looking forward to celebrating with my close friends here." He continued to share his plans and revealed, "I always wait for my Eidi. My parents will be sending me. For the celebration, I will offer my morning prayers in the mosque. Later on will also do some charity or Zakat as it is one of the major pillars in Islam." He plans, "To make my Eid special this year, I'm trying my hand at making Sheer Khurma, it is an elegant dessert made during Eid. I love my mother's recipe but this year I'll be trying it on my own with her advice. I will also try to make Sewaiyan. And a proper meal and will enjoy the festival with my friends in town." Rumi is currently shooting for the historical television drama, Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in which he will essay the role of King Jaichand. He says, "I'm happy that after having the Eid blessings, my track in the show will start on Monday. I'm looking forward to the love from my audience. I feel these wonderful works are gifted by the almighty. And I give my best." Addressing the significance of the festival he mentioned, "Eid ul-Adha is a time of reflection and spiritual renewal. It serves as a reminder to all Muslims of the importance of faith, devotion and submission to God's will, celebrated with piety and generosity. The festival not only strengthens the bonds within families and communities but also encourages acts of charity and kindness." He concluded by sharing his Eid greetings. Rumi is making a comeback on the small screen after 3 years. He was last seen in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, which aired from August 2022 to January 2023.
