Fond du Lac County pursuit, drugs and firearms recovered
The Brief
A Waukesha man has been charged with several felonies following a police pursuit and crash in Fond du Lac County.
Cash bond was set at $100,000 for 25-year-old Justin Fena.

FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. - A Waukesha man has been charged with several felonies after authorities say he led Fond du Lac County sheriff's deputies on a high-speed chase on March 4, 2025.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, the chase ended when the vehicle he was driving struck the back of a milk tanker.
At his initial appearance in court, a cash bond of $100,000 was set for 25-year-old Justin Fena.

What we know
Fena was charged with five counts of recklessly endangering safety, possession with intent to deliver numerous categories of illegal drugs, eluding, causing injury while operating under the influence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After his apprehension, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office K9 Iro was used to conduct an open-air search around the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of both drugs and firearms.
In addition to methamphetamine, cocaine, LSD, THC, ketamine, and MDMA (ecstasy), a significant amount of ammunition and five firearms, including two AK-47s, were found.
Deputies are conducting a follow-up investigation into the links between the drugs and firearms, which may result in more charges in the future.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wis. - A Milwaukee County judge sentenced Brandon Randall on Tuesday, June 3 to 36 years in prison and an additional 14 years of extended supervision in connection with the shooting deaths of two teens in December 2022. Randall pleaded guilty last month to two charges of first-degree reckless homicide in the deaths of cousins Jaelen Yracheta and Ava Allen. Three other charges against him were dismissed. What we know Yracheta and Allen were found shot to death in a car near 5th and Bay Heights in South Milwaukee on Dec. 29, 2022. A criminal complaint states doorbell video surveillance showed a man – since identified as Randall – walk up to the victims' car with a distinct limp and get in. Approximately 10 seconds later, multiple gunshots could be heard and flashes were seen coming from inside the car. Five bullet casings were recovered at the scene. The day after the shooting, police found Yracheta's iPhone in a sewer near 6th and Marshall – about a half-mile from where the teens' were found dead. Records from the phone showed Yracheta had texted a number and arranged to meet the respondent on Bay Heights, the final message sent minutes before the shooting. Investigation revealed Randall was the victim of a shooting roughly one month earlier and was shot in the foot, consistent with his limp, according to the complaint. The phone number Yracheta had texted was connected to an IP address at Randall's home. Police arrested Randall on Jan. 10 near 107th and Fond du Lac on Milwaukee's far northwest side. Per the complaint, a search uncovered two guns – one of which had a silencer and extended magazine. A crime analyst with the Wisconsin Crime Lab determined the gun with the silencer was used in the homicides. Loaded rifle recovered and 14-year-old arrested, after stolen vehicle crash on I-80: CHP
The Brief The CHP arrested a 14-year-old after pulling over a stolen vehicle, investigators said. The driver of the car hit four vehicles on Interstate 80 before fleeing on foot. An AK-style rifle was recovered in the vehicle, the CHP said. BERKELEY, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol announced the arrest of a 14-year-old who investigators said was in a stolen car and in possession of a loaded AK-style rifle on Interstate 80 in the East Bay. What we know Investigators said on Friday, officers attempted to pull over a gray Nissan Altima with no license plate, along westbound I-80 near Ashby Avenue. The driver initially pulled over to the right-hand shoulder, but then changed his mind and immediately took off, officers said. "The vehicle accelerated on the shoulder and made a sharp left turn back into the lanes of traffic, crashing into four vehicles," the CHP said in a Facebook post. The dangerous activity continued when the driver got out of the Nissan and ran. The man, described to be in his 20s, initially got to the center median and then found an opening and bolted across all lanes, a CHP press information officer told KTVU. The driver got away, but officers said they arrested a teen who was a passenger in the stolen car. And inside the vehicle, the CHP said they recovered a rifle.
