Career conclave on architecture
The WOArchitect is hosting a Career Conclave (WCC) 2025 for students, institutions, architects and anyone invested in the future of architectural practice and education. Convocations
Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) held its 29th convocation for the graduating PGDM, PGDM-FM (Finance Management), and EFPM (Executive Doctorate) batch of 2025. IIM Nagpur held its ninth convocation in which 329 students from the MBA, Executive MBA and International Dual Degree programmes received their degrees. Puneet Chhatwal, MD-CEO of The Indian Hotels Company Limited, was the chief guest.

The UGC has granted approval to the Illinois Institute of Technology (Illinois Tech), Chicago, the U.S., to establish an independent degree-granting campus in India. Opening in fall 2026, the Illinois Tech Mumbai campus will offer a range of UG and PG programmes in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, and Business.

Researchers from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) have developed an effective upgrade to Electrocardiography (ECG), a common technique to monitor heart activity, which will help improve the accuracy of arrhythmia detection, both by doctors and by computer-based diagnostic tools. The findings have been published in journals such as Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, Medical Hypotheses, and Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine.

Dipankar Hazarika, Ph.D. scholar from Nagaland University, was awarded the Energy Innovation Fellowship Grant by the Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi, for his Research on Battery Technologies.
Two teams from Jadavpur Vidyapith, Kolkata, and DAV Nandaraj Public School, Ranchi, represented India in Otis India's Made to Move Communities challenge on the theme Developing Urban Mobility Solutions Using AI.

Collaborations and partnerships
Macquarie University has signed an MoU with Krea University, to offer dual degree programme. Students will complete two years at Krea University in one of the following programmes: Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in History, Politics, and Social Studies or Bachelor of Science(Honours) majoring in Social Studies, History, and Politics and transfer to Macquarie University and complete their degrees in either the Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Modern History, Politics, Sociology) or Bachelor of Social Sciences (majoring in Climate, Environment and Society, Health, Wellbeing and Society, Work, Life and Technology).
RV University, Bengaluru, has partnered with Arizona State University to enable its students pursue UG and PG degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Business, Management, Design and Liberal Arts. Student exchange programmes, shared academic initiatives, and the introduction of new learning pathways are also part of the collaboration.
