The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda take a dig at American President Donald Trump; Kiku says 'Yehi iska main kaam hai pehle jhagda karata hai phir sulah...'
In last week's episode, the team welcomed the much-talked-about duo from Bollywood and politics,
Parineeti Chopra
and
Raghav Chadha
. The episode turned into a laughter-packed affair as the couple shared fun stories and revealed some interesting things about each other. However, the highlight of the episode was the hilarious satire by
Krushna Abhishek
and
Kiku Sharda
, where they spoofed American President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, leaving the audience in splits with their comic timing and witty punches.
Raghav and Parineeti both could not control their laughter when Krushna and Kiku entered the stage dressed as Donald and Kim Jong-Un. They laughed their hearts out at their gag and thoroughly enjoyed it. During the gag, the writers of The Great Indian Kapil Show's team only took a dig at his tariff plans but also about his ceasefire announcements.
A clip which is going viral on social media shows Kiku as Kim Jong-Un taking a dig at Krushna dressed as Trump.

Krushna Aka Trump calls Raghav America's Saadu bhai and asks him to be his guru. He says, "Agar aap mere guru bane toh main aapki sulah bhi karwa doonga.." Hearing this, host Kapil quickly steps in and says, "Lekin inka jhagda thodi hua hai."
To this, Kiku, dressed as Kim Jong Un, jumps in and replies, "Nahi nahi, jhagda bhi yehi karayega... yehi toh iska main kaam hai — pehle jhagda karvata hai, phir sulah karvata hai!"
Kiku's hilarious punch gets a roaring applause from everyone and Archana Puran Singh even gives him a standing ovation.
There were other hilarious moments which the episode worth watching. In one of the sequences, Raghav Chadha was seen walking barefoot. Curious, Kapil asked the youngest Rajya Sabha MP about it, to which Raghav humorously responded that someone had stolen his shoes backstage.
Just then Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda walk in as female security officers Mona and Sona calling Raghav their jiju. They have Raghav's shoes in their hands and demand money in barter for the shoes. They inform Kapil that Raghav is their jiju (brother-in-law) and they are here to perform the 'joota churayi' ritual. They enter the stage saying 'East or west Raghav jiju is the best'. When Kapil reprimands them for their behaviour, Krushna aka Mona says, "Kapil is jealous as Parineeti is here with her husband and his flirting skills are on flight mode.
" Kapil covers up and calls Parineeti his sister.
Raghav roasts them saying they are expecting a politician to spend money.

More Ukrainians now want negotiated end to war with Russia, shows new survey
After more than three years of war, Ukrainians are increasingly eager for a settlement that ends the fight against Russia's invasion, according to a new Gallup poll published Thursday — although only about a quarter of Ukrainians surveyed expect the guns to fall silent within the next 12 months. Russia's relentless pounding of urban areas behind the front line has killed more than 12,000 Ukrainian civilians, according to the United Nations. (REUTERS) The enthusiasm for a negotiated deal is a sharp reversal from 2022 — the year the war began — when Gallup found that about three-quarters of Ukrainians wanted to keep fighting until victory. Now only about one-quarter hold that view, with support for continuing the war declining steadily across all regions and demographic groups. The findings were based on samples of 1,000 or more respondents ages 15 and older living in Ukraine. Some territories under entrenched Russian control, representing about 10% of the population, were excluded from surveys conducted after 2022 due to lack of access. Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia's relentless pounding of urban areas behind the front line has killed more than 12,000 Ukrainian civilians, according to the United Nations. On the 1,000-kilometer (620-mile) front line snaking from northeast to southeast Ukraine, where tens of thousands of troops on both sides have died, Russia's bigger army is slowly capturing more land. Also Read: Donald Trump plans to meet Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelensky next week in a renewed bid to end Ukraine war The poll came out on the eve of US President Donald Trump's Friday deadline for Russia to stop the killing or face heavy economic sanctions. In the new Gallup survey, conducted in early July, about 7 in 10 Ukrainians say their country should seek to negotiate a settlement as soon as possible. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last month renewed his offer to meet with Russia's Vladimir Putin, but his overture was rebuffed as Russia sticks to its demands, and the sides remain far apart. Most Ukrainians do not expect a lasting peace anytime soon, the poll found. Only about one-quarter say it's 'very' or 'somewhat' likely that active fighting will end within the next 12 months, while about 7 in 10 think it's 'somewhat' or 'very' unlikely that active fighting will be over in the next year. Approval of US falls, approval of Germany rises Ukrainian views of the American government have cratered over the past few years, while positive views of Germany's leadership have risen, according to Gallup. Three years ago, about two-thirds of Ukrainians approved of US leadership. That's since fallen to 16% in the latest poll, reflecting new tensions between the two countries since Trump took office in January. But although the dip from last year was substantial — approval of US leadership was 40% in 2024 — positive views of US leadership were already dropping before Trump took office, perhaps related to the antipathy that prominent Republican politicians showed toward billions of dollars in US support for Ukraine. Germany has grown more popular among Ukrainians over the past few years, rising to 63% approval in the new poll. Hope for NATO, EU acceptance has fallen Ukrainians are much less optimistic that their country will be accepted into NATO or the European Union in the next decade than they were just a few years ago. In the new poll, about one-third of Ukrainians expect that Ukraine will be accepted into NATO within the next 10 years, while about one-quarter think it will take at least 10 years, and one-third believe it will never happen. That's down from 2022, when about two-thirds of Ukrainians thought acceptance into NATO would happen in the coming decade and only about 1 in 10 thought it would never happen. Hope for acceptance into the EU is higher but has also fallen. About half, 52%, of Ukrainians now expect to be part of the EU within the next decade, down from 73% in 2022.

Trump-Putin meeting agreed for ‘coming days', venue set: Kremlin
The Kremlin said Thursday (August 7, 2025) that a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was set for the 'coming days', with the two sides already having agreed the venue 'in principle.' The summit would be the first between sitting U.S. and Russian Presidents since Joe Biden met Mr. Putin in Geneva in June 2021, and comes as Mr. Trump seeks to broker an end to Russia's military assault on Ukraine. Three rounds of direct talks between Moscow and Kyiv have failed to yield any progress towards a ceasefire, with the two sides appearing far apart in their demands to end the more than three-year-long conflict. Mr. Trump said Wednesday (August 6, 2025) he was likely to meet Putin face-to-face 'very soon.' 'At the suggestion of the American side, an agreement has been reached in principle to hold a bilateral summit in the coming days,' Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov was quoted as saying on Thursday (August 7, 2025) by Russian state news agencies. 'We are now starting to work out the details together with our American colleagues,' Mr. Ushakov said. Editorial | Dangerous turn: On Trump and the Ukraine war The Kremlin said a venue had been agreed 'in principle' but did not indicate where the summit could take place. 'Next week has been set as a target date,' Mr. Ushakov added. Zelenskyy calls for meeting Tens of thousands have been killed since Russia launched its military offensive on Ukraine in February 2022. Russian bombardments have forced millions for flee their homes and destroyed swathes of eastern and southern Ukraine. Mr. Putin has resisted multiple calls from the United States, Europe and Kyiv for a ceasefire. At talks in Istanbul, Russian negotiators have outlined hardline territorial demands if Ukraine wants Russia to halt its advance — calling for Kyiv to withdraw from territory it still controls and renounce Western military support. Moscow has also repeatedly sought to cast doubt on Mr. Zelenskyy's legitimacy and ruled out a meeting between the two leaders until after the terms of a peace deal have been agreed. The announcement of the upcoming summit comes a day after U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff met Mr. Putin in Moscow. Mr. Witkoff proposed a trilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but Russia did not respond to that proposal, Mr. Ushakov said. 'The Russian side left this option completely without comment,' he added. Mr. Zelenskyy earlier Thursday (August 7, 2025) had refreshed his call for a meeting with Mr. Putin — which he says is the only way to make progress towards peace. 'We in Ukraine have repeatedly said that finding real solutions can be truly effective at the level of leaders,' Mr. Zelenskyy wrote on social media. 'It is necessary to determine the timing for such a format and the range of issues to be addressed,' he added. The Ukrainian leader said Thursday (August 7, 2025) morning that he had planned to hold 'several' conversations throughout the course of the day, including with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as well as French and Italian officials. 'There will also be communication at the level of national security advisors,' Mr. Zelenskyy added. 'The main thing is for Russia, which started this war, to take real steps to end its aggression,' Mr. Zelensky added.
