RJD chief Lalu Prasad's son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav landed into a controversy once again, this time relating to his personal life. He was expelled from the party for six years for 'disregard for moral values in personal life" over a viral Facebook post from his account claiming that he was in a 'relationship for 12 years".
'The one seen in this picture is Anushka Yadav. We have known each other for the last 12 years. We are in love and have been in a relationship for 12 years," the post read.
As the post went viral, he later claimed that his account was 'hacked" and his photographs were 'edited wrongfully" to defame him and his family.
However, it was too late, as the picture had already gained traction, raising curiosity among users. He was subsequently expelled from the party and the family. 'He shall have no role, henceforth, in the party and the family. He is expelled from the party for six years," Lalu said.
Nonetheless, speculations about Tej Pratap's alleged 'partner" ignited curiosity about her details besides her identity.

Nilambur bypoll: Anvar seeks donations for campaign fund
Kozhikode: Former Nilambur MLA and independent candidate PV Anvar, who has declared assets worth Rs 52 crore in his election affidavit, launched a crowd funding campaign seeking donations from voters of Nilambur saying that he was facing a financial crisis. In a Facebook video posted on Friday, Anvar said that despite owning property worth crores, he was unable to sell even a cent as all his assets were entangled in an "excess land" case. "I have not done any election preparation due to the financial crunch. I am now launching a crowdfunding initiative and urge everyone to contribute, even Rs 1 or Rs 10 as a token of moral support," he said, adding that donor details would be kept confidential.
