Nobody can stop me: Defiant Tej Pratap seen meeting 'partner' after RJD ouster
A month after a high-voltage drama over his alleged relationship with Anushka Yadav became the talk of the town in Bihar, former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday met his friend and was seen coming out of her house in Patna. Over a month after a viral photo led to his expulsion from family and RJD, Lalu Yadav's son Tej Pratap on Monday met Anushka, the woman with whom he was claimed to be in a relationship for 12 years. 'We have family relations, so I have come here. No one can stop me from going anywhere. I am in contact with everyone," Tej Pratap said after holding a nearly 5-hour-long meeting with Anushka Yadav. This comes more than a month after a picture of him and her was posted on the former RJD leader's Facebook in May, claiming that the duo had been in a relationship for 12 years. As the picture went viral and created a storm in Bihar politics months ahead of the Assembly Elections, Tej Pratap later claimed that his account was hacked. However, it was too late as what followed next was a shocking move by his father Lalu, who expelled him from the party for six years and also disowned him for his 'irresponsible behaviour". He had then said that his son's public actions were 'not in line with our family's principles" and 'undermine our collective struggle for social justice". Referring to a now-deleted post by Tej Pratap, she added, 'The secret from the past 12 years is finally out. If this was going on for so long, then his family must have known about it too." They claimed the scandal broke after chats between the two were leaked. News18 has not independently verified the authenticity of these chats. Tej Pratap has dismissed the entire episode as a political conspiracy. Adding fuel to the fire, BJP OBC Morcha National General Secretary Nikhil Anand shared screenshots of purported Facebook Messenger conversations on X. He alleged that the leak hints at something more serious and claimed that Tejashwi Yadav may have orchestrated and funded the Maldives trip. Anand further alleged that the entire Yadav family was aware of the situation and that Tej Pratap's expulsion was part of a pre-planned political strategy by Lalu Prasad Yadav. He also raised questions about the safety of Anushka Yadav, claiming that had the matter not become public, her life might have been in danger. He called for a probe into the origin of the leaked chats. Anand accused Tej Pratap of deceiving both his former wife Aishwarya Rai and Anushka Yadav, and questioned whether he was misleading the women involved or the Yadav community itself. Media reports suggest that Anushka Yadav hails from Langartoli in Patna, and her brother, Akash Yadav, previously led the RJD's student wing.
