'No One Can Stop Me...': Tej Pratap Meets Anushka, Woman Seen In Viral 'Relationship' Post
Over a month after a viral photo led to his expulsion from family and RJD, Lalu Yadav's son Tej Pratap on Monday met Anushka, the woman with whom he was claimed to be in a relationship for 12 years.
'We have family relations, so I have come here. No one can stop me from going anywhere. I am in contact with everyone," Tej Pratap said after holding a nearly 5-hour-long meeting with Anushka Yadav.
This comes more than a month after a picture of him and her was posted on the former RJD leader's Facebook in May, claiming that the duo had been in a relationship for 12 years. As the picture went viral and created a storm in Bihar politics months ahead of the Assembly Elections, Tej Pratap later claimed that his account was hacked.
However, it was too late as what followed next was a shocking move by his father Lalu, who expelled him from the party for six years and also disowned him for his 'irresponsible behaviour". He had then said that his son's public actions were 'not in line with our family's principles" and 'undermine our collective struggle for social justice".
Referring to a now-deleted post by Tej Pratap, she added, 'The secret from the past 12 years is finally out. If this was going on for so long, then his family must have known about it too."
Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai — who is the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai — got married in 2018. But within a few months, they filed for divorce, which is still pending in court.

Rahul awestruck by grandeur of Deo temple
Aurangabad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his visit to the ancient Deo Surya temple in Aurangabad was awestruck by its architectural magnificence. Accompanied by RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Rahul offered prayers in the sanctum sanctorum and spent nearly half an hour performing rituals before taking a complete round of the temple premises. The two were accorded a warm welcome by the temple trust committee and local organisations under the leadership of RJD state general secretary Subodh Kumar Singh. Rahul interacted with chief priest of the temple, Rajesh Pathak, to learn about the temple's history and the mythological significance associated with it. He was also presented with books authored by local historians and a replica of the Deo Surya temple by the trust. The temple complex echoed with chants and slogans as thousands of local people gathered to catch a glimpse of Gandhi and Tejashwi. Many priests described the moment as historic, recalling that it was rare to see the scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family performing rituals at the temple revered for its sun God. Local resident and trust member Ganga Bhaskar said Rahul's visit would boost tourism in the region. Former trust member Subodh Kumar Singh added that while the Bihar tourism department organises events here every year, the visit of Rahul and Tejashwi has once again brought the temple into national focus. The Deo Surya temple, nearly a millennium old, is globally known for its architectural brilliance and attracts devotees and tourists alike, especially during the Chhath festival. Patna: Listing his father's works done in the last 20 years, CM Nitish Kumar 's son Nishant Kumar on Monday said people will vote for the ruling NDA again to form a govt under his leadership in Bihar. Nishant for the first time replied to RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav 's "copycat" allegation against CM Nitish, saying his father has been the Bihar CM for the last 20 years because of his work. "Has he been copying others for 20 years," Nishant asked and listed CM Nitish's works. "He gave 50 lakh jobs and employment. Now he has set a target of providing one crore jobs and employment. He will fulfil that too. My father does what he says," Nishant told reporters at Patna airport. Asked if he was confident of his father becoming the CM again, Nishant asserted that he will. "He (Nitish) has done works in every field and the effects of his schemes are clearly visible on the ground. Is Yunus now targeting Hasina-era president? Bangladesh missions removing his portraits
Most of the country's 82 missions had already taken down the portraits in the wake of the July uprising. The remaining missions, which had not yet acted, were reportedly instructed last Friday to remove them as well, according to a report Confusion surrounds the removal of President Mohammed Shahabuddin's portraits from Bangladesh missions abroad, as officials from the foreign ministry claim the directive was issued verbally, without any formal written order. According to The Daily Star report, citing ministry sources, most of the country's 82 missions had already taken down the portraits in the wake of the July uprising. The remaining missions, which had not yet acted, were reportedly instructed last Friday to remove them as well, added the report. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The quiet and inconsistent implementation has raised eyebrows, particularly as Shahabuddin was appointed during Sheikh Hasina's tenure. 'No, there was no written order,' The Daily Star quoted a foreign ministry official as saying. More from World How long does Netanyahu intend to keep Gaza under Israeli occupation? He keeps everyone guessing Despite this, officials were unable to clarify why the directive to remove President Mohammed Shahabuddin's portraits was issued verbally rather than through formal channels. Questions on the matter were avoided by both Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam and Shah Asif Rahman, Director General of the Public Diplomacy Wing, when approached by journalists on Monday, added the report. Meanwhile, Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, said in a Facebook post the same day that the interim government had discouraged the use of official portraits from the outset, maintaining what he described as an unwritten 'zero-portrait' policy. 'Even so, some individuals have, on their own initiative, displayed pictures of the government or head of state. However, no written directive has been issued to any office or mission instructing them to remove such portraits,' he wrote, adding that the matter was being unnecessarily stirred in public discourse. 'Since the announcement of the election schedule has reduced opportunities to create confusion over politics, many small matters are being exaggerated and turned into mountain-sized controversies to keep up political momentum,' Azad added. Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said she only learnt of the removals from media reports. 'If it were a government decision, it would have been in writing. I don't know whether the government has taken such a decision. It was not discussed in the Advisory Council. If it was a government decision, it would come up in the meeting,' she was quoted as saying. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD On whether it could impact the upcoming polls, she said: 'If photos were removed, that has nothing to do with the election. A photo has no relation to an election.'
