Fans celebrate Danville Christian Academy at the team's first Sweet 16 appearance

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Just two weeks ago, the Danville Christian Academy community was supporting the girls' basketball team on the big stage, and Wednesday, it got to do the same for the boys'.
'It's like a dream for the parents, students, everyone,' Rachel Dadisman, mother of guard Cole Dadisman, said.
DCA has worked hard all season, and the team finally got to play on the floor of Rupp Arena against South Oldham. Supporters said this moment is one they are soaking up with their team, mixing faith with their fandom.
'It's a crazy experience, knowing that such a small school, like with God, we can do anything, make it anywhere, and how far we've come, we can only do it through God,' said Bella Bradshaw, a player on the girls' team.

Dadisman has been a part of the school for 24 years, and seeing how far this team has come means a little extra to the heart.
'I would have never had thought… My sons have always loved basketball, and to see them here now is unbelievable,' Dadisman said.
Fans had a few words for the players.
'Yeahhh, I have a favorite player; his name is Titus Boyd,' said one student.
'Lu, dunk as much as you can; yeah, just plow it in their face,' said Josiah Lamb.
Josiah is in his senior year, and he is friends with many of the guys who took the court.

'I got several people in my class on the team right now and honestly, being able to grow up with them for a couple of years, to see them flourish and become the players that they are today, is special,' he said.
He said no matter the outcome, his message to the boys is:
'As a whole team, just keep God first, and even if we lose, just give Him the glory,' Lamb said.
The shots were falling Wednesday, but unfortunately not for the Warriors, as their season came to an end, losing 67-44, but the amount of support from supporters did not go unnoticed.
