Accenture set to acquire CyberCX in a strategic push towards cybersecurity
The acquisition move made by Accenture is its largest cybersecurity acquisition and is intended to boost the company's tech capabilities in the Asia Pacific. Moreover, the collaboration will also drive Accenture's abilities to build business resilience, protect critical infrastructure, and focus on enterprise reinvention.

Accenture's acquisition move is also bit strategic as its own 'State of Cybersecurity Resilience 2025' report cited that Australian organizations are future ready to adopt the change that will happen with AI.

West Sangli, Aug 16 (UNI) Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar today urged sugarcane farmers and sugar millers in Sangli district to make effective use of AI technology. Pawar said attention should be paid to ensuring that the funds are not wasted and the works are of high quality. He also indicated that the relevant agencies should ensure that the funds received by the District Planning Committee for local self-government bodies do not remain unspent under any circumstances. In an exclusive roundtable discussion with Indian media experts and journalists, Philip Green, the Australian High Commissioner to India, shared insights into the multifaceted relationship between Australia and India. The conversation spanned trade, security, education, sports, immigration, and global conflicts, offering a comprehensive view of Australia's engagement with one of Asia's fastest-growing Relations and Economic PartnershipHigh Commissioner Green highlighted Australia's unwavering commitment to free trade, noting that 'tariffs are a tax on consumers, and they cause inflation and they reduce growth.' Green pointed out that 'over the last five years, India's exports to the world have grown by 35%. That sounds pretty good, but Indian exports to Australia 66%. UER-II will contribute to 'Viksit Delhi,' reduce traffic & enhance connectivity: CM
New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has described the much awaited Urban Extension Road-II project as a 'historic gift' for the city, and said that its commencement will not only move the national capital closer to becoming a traffic-free city, but will also strengthen connectivity across the NCR. CM has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the efforts and development of the national capital. Gupta along with senior officials and party leaders on Saturday visited the site for the inauguration of UER- II and its surroundings to review the preparations and issued necessary instructions ahead of its launch. She added that the corridor will play a vital role in reducing congestion, lowering vehicular pollution and thereby contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. Gupta mentioned, 'UER-II is not just an infrastructure project; it is an investment in the future of Delhi. It will improve traffic flow, cut travel time drastically, and uplift the quality of life for lakhs of people living in Delhi and NCR.' CM also informed that the PM will formally inaugurate UER-II on Sunday and will also be part of a road show. Gupta said that the corridor will begin at National Highway-44 (Alipur), traverse through Mundka, Bakkarwala, Najafgarh and Dwarka, and terminate at National Highway-48 near Mahipalpur. Highlighting its utility, she said that one of the most significant advantages of UER-II is the reduction in travel time from Singhu Border to IGI Airport, which will now take just 40 minutes, compared to almost two hours earlier. She added that the pressure on Inner and Outer Ring Roads will be substantially reduced, while major junctions such as Mukarba Chowk, Madhuban Chowk, Peeragarhi Chowk, Dhaula Kuan and NH-9 will no longer face heavy congestion with UER-II's commencement. She added that the improved connectivity with the project will also expand industrial and logistics opportunities in the national capital.
