BirminghamLive has rounded off a month to remember by reporting rising audience numbers.
No fewer than 8.4 million people visited our website in a month, according to latest Ipsos Iris data - which means more than one in six adults in the UK enjoyed our stories.
Industry-respected data showed BirminghamLive was again one of the three biggest regional news brands in the UK. This comes amid celebrations over a raft of award wins.

News like strking binmen holding the city to ransom fed into the month-on-month rise BirminghamLive saw in February.
Of course, that remained news well into March. It also came as our journalism was recognised as industry-leading in a national awards ceremony.
BirminghamLive won two of the eight team honours at the 2025 Regional Press Awards.
Editor Graeme Brown said: "It is always pleasing when the data shows we are serving our audience well.
"Our aim is to grow and to inform and delight the people of the people of the West Midlands and this latest Ipsos Iris data shows we are succeeding."
BirminghamLive, and print sister title the Birmingham Mail, won in the communities category for the third time in five years at the Regional Press Awards.
Judges praised the focus and care given to local communities, including through our Brummie Muslims and UKSikhs brands.
BirminghamLive was also awarded for the top digital initiative for its Child Poverty Emergency campaign, calling for seismic change to address soaring levels which have left nearly half of the city's children in poverty.
The initiative included coding a special "letter to your MP" tool enabling people to raise the issue and a chatbot supported by AI.
BirminghamLive was also highly commended in the biggest category of the night - large title of the year.

Alert to stay out water at three Midlands rivers as 30C mini heatwave approaches
Members of the public have been urged to stay out of the water at three Midlands rivers as temperatures are set to get hotter. Surfers Against Sewage, one of the UK's leading marine conservation charities, has warned people against entering rivers at three sites in Shropshire. These are the River Severn at Ironbridge, the River Severn at Shrewsbury and the River Teme at Ludlow. The charity provides real-time information about water quality at 600 locations across the UK through its Safer Seas & Rivers Service (SSRS), warning whether the water is safe to enter or not. At the Ironbridge location, SSRS states the bathing water is located around 450m upstream of the Iron Bridge, while in Shrewsbury the bathing water is located on a stretch of the river close to the centre of the town. In Ludlow, the bathing area stretches from the Linney boating pontoon around 200m downstream to the Ludlow Mill Brach. It comes as temperatures are set to enter the mid to high 20s later this month. Weather maps from WX Charts show the mercury rising to 30C in Kent, east of London, while Shropshire could experience temperatures of 23C on the same day, on Wednesday, June 18. In its long range weather forecast from June 17 to July 1, the Met Office said: "Changeable weather is most likely across the UK with a mixture of Atlantic weather systems moving in from the west interspersed with dry and sunny periods, perhaps with a bias towards longer dry spells early in the period. "Temperatures are most likely to be near or slightly above normal, perhaps with some hot spells at times especially across the south."

Travellers move back on to popular family park 24 hours after clean-up
Travellers have moved back onto a popular family park just a day after a clean-up was completed. A small group of caravans set up camp on Swanshurst Park, on the outskirts of Moseley and Billesley, on Sunday (June 1). Their arrival came just 24 hours after members of a volunteer group dedicated to maintaining the park finished picking up rubbish after the last group left. There are constant calls to beef up barriers with logs and other measures to prevent access. Mary Hart said last month on Facebook: "There have been three lots of travellers this year on Swanshurst. "Each time a different group. Last time there were two groups at the same time. "The clean-up is mostly done by volunteers with help from the council."
