Rangers legends surprise superfan on his 91 birthday at Glasgow hospital
A group of Rangers legends came together to surprise a superfan as he celebrated his 91 birthday.
Tommy Daniels, a well-known Rangers fan and long-time Rangers quizmaster, received the special visit while in Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The heart-warming gesture came about after his family made a plea on Ibrox Radio's Facebook page, asking if any former players might be willing to pay Tommy a visit on his birthday.

The post read: "I am looking for help and prayers, my dad is in hospital and it is his 91st birthday today.
"He is a complete Rangers historian, he also was the face of the Rangers brick, he is a survivor of the Rangers disaster and has been on the news and papers many a time.
"He travelled the country as a Rangers quiz master, and I'm looking to see if there's any chance he could maybe receive a visit from any former players, it would just make his day."
Tommy's wish came true in spectacular fashion. Former Rangers stars Gordon Smith, Charlie Miller, and Alex 'Doddie' MacDonald visited him in hospital, organised with the help of the popular Oswald's Bar in Glasgow.
Adding to the surprise, Ally McCoist phoned in to speak to Tommy personally, and John Brown sent a heartfelt video message.
The effort drew widespread praise from supporters and the Rangers community.
Ibrox Radio later shared the uplifting update: "Last night Ibrox Radio put a post out asking for any ex players to visit Tommy Daniels, who is currently in the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow, the response was outstanding.
"Oswald's Bar arranged a visit with Gordon Smith, Doddie and Charlie Miller and a phone call from Ally McCoist. They also went up with a few goodies.
"Bars For Bears also paid a visit with some gifts.
"John Brown sent in a video message, plus 100s of get-well wishes to Tommy and his family.
"It was Tommy's 91 birthday yesterday. This is what the Rangers family is all about."
Fans were quick to flood the comments with praise for the sweet gesture.

The Glasgow Times reported that Rangers legend Alex MacDonald, affectionately known as Doddie, was photographed at the iconic Oswald's Bar.
The club hero stopped by to see the bar's display of the 1972 European Cup Winners' Cup trophy, celebrating one of the greatest nights in the club's history.
The Rangers icon grew up in the Kinning Park area of Glasgow, and started as a passionate Rangers supporter and went on to live every fan's dream.
