2025 Tony Awards: How to watch Broadway's biggest night, full nominee list and more
Broadway's biggest night, the 78th Tony Awards are upon us. This year, Death Becomes Her, Maybe Happy Ending and Buena Vista Social Club are all tied for most-nominated, with 10 nods apiece. This year's awards will see a reunion performance from the original cast of Hamilton, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Jonathan Groff. We'll also get performances from every show nominated for Best Musical! The 2025 Tony Awards will air on CBS and stream live on Paramount+ (but only the SHOWTIME plan). Here's everything you need to know about tuning into Broadway's biggest night.
The 78th annual Tony Awards will take place this Sunday, June 8, 2025.
The 2025 Tonys will air at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT this Sunday. The Tony Awards pre-show, The Tony Awards: Act One, will start at 6:40 PM ET / 3:40 PM PT.
CBS will once again be the network home of the Tony Awards. The awards will also be available to stream live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. You can stream them on-demand the following day on the standard, ad-supported Paramount+ plan, too.
The Tonys preshow, The Tony Awards: Act One, will be available to stream for free on Pluto TV.
Cynthia Erivo, Tony-winner and star of the film adaptation of Wicked, will host this year's Tony Awards. Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry will host the 2025 Tonys pre-show.
This year's Tony Awards will feature the highly anticipated 10-year reunion of the original Hamilton cast. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones and Okieriete Onaodowan are all set to return in some capacity, alongside the original ensemble members including Ariana DeBose, Javier Muñoz, Jon Rua, and Ephraim Sykes.
In addition to that buzzy performance, we'll also get to see performances from this year's nominated musicals, including Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, Maybe Happy Ending, Operation Mincemeat and Dead Outlaw.
The Tony Awards start at 8 p.m. ET and are expected to run until 11 p.m. ET.
This year's Tony Awards will return to Radio City Music Hall.

Free Movies All Weekend at a Classic L.A. Theater originally appeared on L.A. Mag. Charmingly shabby and consistently quirky, the Gardena Cinema is one of L.A.'s last independently owned neighborhood theaters. For more than 75 years the hometown cinema has been a portal to dreams tucked between casinos and refineries. This weekend, the streaming service Pluto TV is taking over the beloved venue and presenting classics of the 1970s and 80s on the big screen for free. This is the only L.A. stop on a national tour that includes other historic venues in Detroit and Chicago. Sean Baker's Anora swept the Oscars earlier this year and the 54-year-old director is a huge fan of the theater and the force behind the Paramount-owned streamer's 'Free Movie Weekend' campaign there supporting family-run cinemas. Baker personally selected the 800-seat Gardena Cinema as the home base for this year's program. Owner Judy Kim's parents bought the vintage 1946 theater in the 1970s and have cycled through first run, second run, Spanish language, and now a super eclectic slate of revival house and experimental programming ranging from comedy to punk to 3-D. The staff is mostly volunteers who desperately want the place to survive and do whatever they can to maintain the funk and the magic. Next week, Pluto is at the Century City Mall with a reworking of an old game show trick where contestants are placed in a box with prized flying all around them. The 'Popcorn Challenge' pits movie lovers against flying kernels of corn awarding prizes to those who gather the most. A ticket at the AMC Century City is priced north of $29, which would get you three large popcorns at the Gardena. STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Season 3 Releases Episode Titles and More Posters
Paramount has unveiled all episode titles for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Additionally, we have five new character posters, which you can check out below. Expect the 10-episode third season to arrive this summer. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be beaming in before you know it. In the meantime, Paramount+ has released the episode titles for all 10 Season 3 episodes. Plus, we've also got another round of posters.
