UK beachfront waterpark to open new soft play this summer and it's free to visit
SC2 waterpark was forced to close back in 2023, but has confirmed they would finally be reopening this summer.

And ahead of the reopening, a new soft play is opening inside as well.
The new kids attraction is part of the Rainforest Diner, with the soft play also rainforest themed.
Inside the two-storey climbing structure will have nets and tunnels to explore.
Jamie Groves, managing director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd ( (DLL), said: 'We are bringing a free, brand new soft play to SC2 this Summer, ensuring maximum fun and play opportunities.
"This Summer is going to the our biggest and best one yet."
Guests can opt for coffee with Costa as well as ice cream from Red Boat Gelato at the cafe, as well as snacks such as pizza and burgers.
The new rainforest soft play is alongside a larger dinosaur soft play and a Ninja TAG adventure course.
But the main attraction is the indoor waterpark which is set to reopen next month.
SC2 closed in December 2023 after huge storm damage.
But from July 5, families will be able to visit the waterpark once again.

Inside is a huge indoor pool along with flume rides.
This includes the Boomerang, where guests can whizz down on a rubber ring, as well as The Anaconda, the fastest ride in the waterpark.
Or there is the Speedster, where guests can race each other to the bottom.
For younger kids, there is the Piranha Play area with smaller slides, water cannons and wheels.
And when the weather is good, there is also an outdoor splash pad with fountains and pools.
Jamie Groves, managing director at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said: "Everyone at DLL is extremely excited to see our flagship attraction reopening. The damage to the roof was extensive, but we were never going to let that get us down.

"SC2 is the jewel in Rhyl's crown and our priority was to re-open the attraction as soon as we possibly could.
"We know how important SC2 is to Rhyl, and we were determined to come back bigger and better than before.
Tickets start from £11.50 for adults, which includes an hour access while kids are £9.
Under 1s cost £1.95, while the Ninja Tag and soft play also cost extra.

Adolescence writer and co-creator Jack Thorne said teachers' responses to the hit Netflix series showed 'we've got a real problem in our country' when it comes to schooling. Compton also called the channel 'proud parents' of Adolescence because of the opportunities they had given Thorne and actor and co-creator Stephen Graham over the years, according to reports. 'I don't think I'm a tourist,' Qureshi said. 'Nothing about where I am and where we sit and the conversations we had about and around Adolescence at the beginning really came out of anything other than us.' Thorne said he 'started out' with Channel 4, adding: 'I'm really grateful for Channel 4, but I'm excited that Netflix is moving into this space.' In March, Thorne, 46, spoke to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at Downing Street about the issues raised in the drama. Popular UK concerts hosted by TV star at historic castles suddenly cancelled after organisers collapse into liquidation
A SLEW of huge UK concerts have been cancelled after its organisers fell into liquidation. One of the events was set to be hosted by a TV icon, before the event was pulled altogether. 3 3 UKAC Productions had organised a variety of exciting events to be held at castles across England this September. Festivalgoers were set to be treated to live performances, as well as exciting refreshments, at the UK Proms in the Park which were being held at Pendennis Castle in Cornwall and Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire. Both festivals were set to be hosted by TV judge Robert Rinder, who was expected to treat fans to one of his DJ acts. A mysterious 'powerful vocalist' was also set to perform. However, UKAC Productions suddenly fell into liquidation forcing the brand to cancel all of its upcoming events - including the Cornwall event on September 19 and the Derbyshire Event on September 20. A spokesperson for English Heritage, the charity managing Bolsover Castle, said: "We are sorry to confirm that the upcoming Proms event at Bolsover Castle on 19th and 20th September has been cancelled as the organisation UK Proms has gone into liquidation. "We are sorry for the disappointment caused by this news. 'As this event has not been organised by English Heritage, we advise you contact the ticket provider you booked through regarding any outstanding refund." 'If you have tickets your ticket provider will be in touch regarding the cancellation. 'The event was organised by UK Proms in the Park who hired Bolsover Castle for the concert." "We are absolutely heartbroken that we are unable to put on these incredible shows for you all at this time, but please be assured as soon as things are settled we will be immediately looking at ways we can work towards revisiting in the UK in the near future."
