
Pixel 10 Pro vs Pixel 9 Pro: Expected design, display, camera, processor and what more to expect
Reportedly, Google appears to be sticking with the formula introduced in 2024. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to keep the flat frame, aluminium-and-glass construction, and subdued colour palette of Porcelain, Obsidian, Rose and Quartz. Leaked renders show a device almost identical in size and weight to its predecessor, with only minimal differences in dimensions.
The display is also expected to carry over unchanged, a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1280 x 2856 pixels, a variable 1–120Hz refresh rate, and roughly 495ppi density. The Pixel 9 Pro's screen hit 2,655 nits peak brightness, and while a small bump is possible, no major display overhaul is anticipated.
The biggest shift will likely be inside: the Pixel 10 Pro is anticipated to debut Google's Tensor G5 processor, now produced by TSMC on a 3nm process, replacing the Samsung-made Tensor G4. This could deliver better efficiency and thermal performance. RAM may remain at 16GB LPDDR5, and the phone will launch with Android 16.
Camera hardware is expected to remain the same, a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5x periscope telephoto, with improvements likely to come from AI-driven image processing rather than new sensors.
Battery capacity is expected to stay at 4,700mAh, though efficiency gains from the new chipset could extend life. Charging rumours are mixed, with reports of either 29W or 45W wired speeds, and Qi2 wireless charging confirmed.
If leaks prove accurate, the Pixel 10 Pro will likely mirror the Pixel 9 Pro, with the processor upgrade as its main change, while retaining the same $999 launch price.

Meta is planning to spend up to $72 billion on AI in 2025, while Alphabet is setting aside $85 billion for AI-linked capital expenses next year. Given the size of investments, it's unlikely that huge undercuts would happen. So, while OpenAI's pricing may seem like a miracle and great news for developers, it may be a little early to have high hopes. At least until more companies follow suit.

Microsoft launches Copilot 3D, an AI tool that transforms photos into 3D models: Try it now
A day after rolling out the GPT-5-powered Smart Mode in Copilot, Microsoft has unveiled another AI-powered feature that can transform regular 2D images into 3D models. Dubbed Copilot 3D, the tech giant says it is 'designed to make 3D creations fast, accessible and intuitive.' Part of Copilot Labs, Copilot 3D is really handy if you want to explore new ideas, test a concept or guide hands-on learning without the hassle and complexity associated with conventional 3D software. The feature is currently available for free for 'a subset of users', but you will need to sign in using your Microsoft or Google account to use it. Microsoft recommends that users try the feature on a desktop computer, as you may encounter issues when trying to access it from a mobile browser. To use Copilot 3D, simply head over to from your favourite browser and click on the sidebar button that appears on the top left of the window. Now, tap on Labs, and proceed to click the 'Try now' button below Copilot 3D. As of now, you can only upload PNG or JPG images under 10MB, but Microsoft might add support for more file formats and increase the size limit in the future. Once you upload an image, simply click on the Create button and wait anywhere between a few seconds to a minute to get a 3D version of that image. Microsoft recommends that the images you want to convert to 3D models should have a clear background or separation between the subject and the background. According to The Verge, Copilot 3D might struggle with animals and certain objects, but it does a good job when it comes to furniture and objects like an umbrella and a banana. All 3D models generated by Copilot 3D can be exported to an Augmented Reality app and are saved in GLB format, meaning it is compatible with most 3D viewers, tools and engines. These 3D models are saved for 28 days and can be accessed from the My Creations page. Microsoft also suggests that you stick to uploading images you own the rights to, and avoid uploading anything that shows people, as your account might get banned for violating terms and conditions. Also, these creations won't be used to train future AI models, but anything illegal will be automatically blocked.
