But not everyone was convinced by Trebor's "wonky" bricks

Rather than breaking the bank on posh brick-effect wallpaper, Trebor Newo was able to recreate the iconic look by using tester paint samples, for just a fraction of the price.
But while we think Trebor's DIY transformation is pretty impressive considering it was done on a budget, the savvy man has left many people bothered by his "wonky" bricks.
It all came after Trebor took to social media to show off his DIY overhaul, which cost him less than £10.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, Trebor uploaded snaps of his orange and white tester paints, as well as images of his jaw-dropping wall mural.
The DIY enthusiast revealed that thanks to his bargain buys, he spent just £9.90 on his brick-effect wall.
Alongside his post, Trebor beamed: '£10 brick wall effect. Just buy four testers and a sponge.'
He then added: 'Why spend silly money on wallpaper, blocks or plaster..'
The savvy saver claimed that his DIY trick can be done on 'any wall', and involves 'no prep'.
As well as this, he penned: 'The worse the wall, the better. Look at the cracks showing through..'
Alongside his post, Trebor wrote: 'This was to match a picture and rug but choose your own colours and put some creativity and simple effort and be individual..'
I redid the floor in my loo for £28 with a B&M buy - I'm obsessed with the results but it was no doddle
To create his brick-effect design, Trebor simply dipped a large sponge into his orange paints and stamped it onto his white wall.
Then, between each rectangular shape, he used the thin side of a sponge to paint a white gap, in an attempt to mimic the look of a brick wall.

DIY fans react
But Facebook users have been left divided by Trebor's wall design - while some thought it looked 'authentic', others weren't impressed with the 'wonky' look.

One person said: 'Your pointing is off lol.'
Another added: 'If [it] was straighter the bricks would look nice. If my house was like that I'd be worried why my bricks would be wonky, they need to be in a more straight line.'
But to this, someone else replied and commented: 'I think that makes it look more authentic.'

Parks and Recreation star dies after being fatally shot 'by neighbour'
King of the Hill star Jonathan Joss, who is the voice actor of John Redcorn on the show, tragically died after being shot by a neighbour King of the Hill voice actor Jonathan Joss has died after being shot by a neighbour in Texas. The San Antonio Police Department and onlookers claimed the 59-year-old Parks and Recreation actor got into an argument with his neighbour on the city's south side over the weekend before he was shot. A man called Sigfredo Alvarez-Cega was arrested and charged with murder, with a bond set at $200K, as reported by TMZ. The authorities told the publication that the neighbour pulled out a gun during the argument and shot Joss several times before fleeing in a car, with the police arresting him a block away from the residence. Alvarez-Cega was then taken into custody. Paramedics were called to the scene but couldn't save Joss. As shared in a police report, Joss passed away from 'injuries sustained after multiple gun shots'. The Mirror have reached out to the San Antonio Police Department for comment. Following the release of the news, fans rushed to social media to pay tribute to Joss. One said: "This is absolutely devastating news. Jonathan Joss was such a talented actor, and his iconic roles brought so much joy to so many. What a tragic loss." Another said: "It absolutely shatters my heart to learn of the passing of Jonathan Joss, known and loved by many fans as the voice, heart, spirit, and soul of the character John Redcorn. He made a point to be involved in the fandom, and was so kind to all of us. He will never be forgotten!" Joss' husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, released a statement on the actor's official Facebook page claiming the argument began when the couple were checking the mail "at the site of our former home". "When the man fired, Jonathan pushed me out of the way," he said. "He saved my life. Jonathan is my husband. "He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. "We picked Valentine's Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future," Gonzales posted before adding he was with Joss when he passed and 'told him how much he was loved.' "To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family. My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together," he added. Joss was the voice of John Redcorn on King of the Hill from series two to 13 and even recorded lines for the revival of the animated series. He was also known as Chief Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation.

I was looking at Eric Bristow's flat when he died and his demise hit me hard, says ex-BBC darts host Bobby George
'MY MATE' I was looking at Eric Bristow's flat when he died and his demise hit me hard, says ex-BBC darts host Bobby George Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) BOBBY GEORGE says the sudden death of long-time drinking and darts pal Eric Bristow seven years ago 'hit me hard'. And his new book details the duo's many escapades. According to George, the five-time world champion would be 'good as gold until about 10 or 10.30pm — then he'd become a complete a***hole once he had drunk too much'. The King of Bling, claimed Hackney-born Bristow would be 'rude, arrogant, leery and happy to pick a fight with anyone . . . I didn't like him when he was like that, no one did'. Yet the Crafty Cockney never wavered in his strong loyalty towards George, 11 years the senior man, whom he called Bo. Bristow — one of the sport's greatest throwers — died on April 5, 2018 from a heart attack before a Premier League event in Liverpool. He was 60. Writing in Still Here! The King of Bling, George, 79, said: 'Eric Bristow's death hit me hard. 'He was only 60 for f***'s sake. That's no age these days, is it? I had known him since he was a teenager — and he never changed. 'He could be a pain in the a*** and we had some right ding-dongs over the years. On the night Bristow died, George was on Merseyside, working at Shooters Bar and Diner. The pair had 'a little catch-up and I got him a Guinness'. 'One of the best things I've ever seen' - Frank Lampard stunned as Coventry star hits 180 with first-ever three darts That night, George stayed in a Stoke pub run by Barry Birch, Bristow's former driver. And he was even looking at 'Eric's flat' less than 200 yards away when he learned the tragic news. George said: 'I couldn't believe the suddenness of his passing. 'Nor could I take in the fact that I could see his flat — the same flat he'd have left just a few hours earlier — as I was trying to take in the tragic news. 'What were the odds of it? Me being with him, saying goodbye, going to Stoke and looking out of a window at his flat whilst stood alongside his former driver? 'We both needed a stiff drink that night. They reckon Eric's heart must have stopped before he hit the ground as there was no blood. 'In his diary, apparently, he'd written he had got bad chest pains. "Bloody hell, if that was the case, why didn't he go to the doctors or hospital and get it sorted? 'Knowing Eric, he probably thought, 'I'll put loads of Guinness down my neck, that'll get rid of the pain'. 'Anyone who knew him was aware that he didn't exactly lead a healthy lifestyle. I had known him since he was a teenager — and he never changed." Bobby George on Eric Bristow 'For as long as I'd known him, he was a heavy smoker, always rolling his own. 'And he would think nothing of getting through 15 or 16 pints of Guinness in a day, rounding it all off with a curry. Nobody's body can handle that day in, day out. 'Always on the go, working and travelling, meant he was always pushing it. "Although it wasn't work to him, just a chance to get on the p*** every day. 'I like a drink and a smoke but there are extremes and Eric pushed them to the limit. 'I'd say, 'You smoke and you drink too much'. He said, 'I know all about that, Bob. But put it this way, no one is going to be pushing me around in a wheelchair. When I go, I'll go like that. Bang'. And he f***ing did as well, bang.' George first encountered the 'mouthy so-and-so' while playing in a BDO event at Margate in Kent. 4 Bobby George knew the late Eric Bristow when he was a teenager Credit: GETTY He said: 'After that we became good mates and he would do anything for me, anything.' As they toured the country, they 'would share prize money', but there were times when George thought 'we're going to get our heads kicked in' due to Bristow's OTT antics. On a US tour in 1978, the first time George went on a plane, Bristow enraged locals by pretending 'to wipe his a***' with the American Stars and Stripes flag 'before chucking it on the floor'. George said: 'The atmosphere had turned really toxic and I was worried that someone was going to do something really stupid, like pull a gun out on him. ''Watch yourself, Eric,' I whispered in his ear. 'These guys aren't messing about and they have guns over here!' 'I'd like to say that was an isolated incident but it wasn't. 'That's how he was, always getting into trouble. But somehow always managing to get himself out of it.' Still Here! The King of Bling, published by Pitch Publishing, is out now, £25.

Jon Jones reveals Tom Aspinall AGREEMENT after UFC fans demand Dana White strip him of belt

The pair, 37 and 32 respectively, have been on course for a historic heavyweight title unification bout since last November. MMA fans have been left on tenterhooks by Jones over the last few weeks as the former pound-for-pound king has toed and froed with the prospect of retirement. The Hall of Famer claimed last month that UFC brass are aware of his plans and insisted he's not holding Aspinall back in any way, shape or form. And during a recent seminar in Phuket in Thailand, he claimed he and Aspinall have agreed not to divulge any details of their proposed fight or the future of the division before the UFC. In a video from the seminar, a fan asked Jones: "When are you fighting Tom?" The former long-reigning light-heavyweight king replied: "I was waiting for it. "The UFC, I, and Tom we all have a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes. They're one of the biggest organisations in sports. "Right now, Tom and I have agreed to wait for the UFC to make their announcements, so I legally can't really talk about it.' Jon Jones Blasts UFC Rival Tom Aspinall In X-Rated Rant Another said: "It's happening." And another sad: "Wait for the UFC to make the announcement… of his retirement! Will not believe it till I see it, thanks." One remarked: "Cant wait for Jones to beat Aspinall's ass and end this." "Another chimed in: "Going to announce he's taking a break and vacating belt." Jones' comments came just days after a recent interview in which he admitted he's undecided about his fighting future aired. During an appearance on Deepcut with VicBlends, he said: "I don't know what life holds as far as fighting and competing. "I do feel like I'll be a lifelong martial artist whether I'm coaching others or taking exhibition matches and things like that. Tom and I have agreed to wait for the UFC to make their announcements." Jon Jones "There's a lot of great competition still in the UFC. I do view myself as more than a fighter. "Being in my position, I feel like I have a lot more options than a lot of the other fighters as far as the ability to leave and return. "And so right now I'm just focusing on love, happiness, kindness. "We're at the quarter-century mark, and this year should be a really special year." Jones hasn't set foot inside the octagon since his Madison Square Garden mauling of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 last November. Wigan warrior Aspinall, meanwhile, has been on the sidelines since his 60-second demolition of Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 last July.
