Bundesliga sides Cologne, Borussia Moenchengladbach and Stuttgart have been in touch with the Premier League club while Austrian champions Sturm Graz are also interested.
There is also believed to be interest in Italy from Serie A sides, where fellow Scots like Lewis Ferguson and Scott McTominay are currently thriving.
