Florida tip leads to Green County man charged with 20 counts of possessing child porn
GREENSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — A tip from Charlotte County, Florida, to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP) sparked an investigation that led to a Green County man being arrested on Wednesday and charged with 20 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to court documents, the investigation began when state police got a tip from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) about a person allegedly trying to access CSAM in their jurisdiction. Deputies in Florida reportedly tracked the IP address to Green County.

Troopers with KSP Post 15 in Jamestown executed a search warrant at the home of Ian Douglas, 35, on Columbia Highway in Green County. Douglas' electronic devices were searched, and it was found that he allegedly possessed sexually explicit images and videos of children, according to state police.
On Wednesday, Douglas was arrested and charged with 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12 but under 18. He was also charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The child abuse material investigation remains ongoing.

Coronel responded with interest and began making graphic sexual comments, and said that the two should 'hang out' sometime. The investigator asked if Coronel had any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and Coronel responded that he had some from 'old groups,' according to documents. Coronel again asked to 'meet up' and made more graphic sexual comments about who he believed was an 11-year-old. Coronel and the undercover investigator made plans to meet up that day, June 5. According to documents, he was 'given multiple 'outs' throughout the conversation, meaning opportunities to disengage from criminal conduct.' Instead of disengaging, he continued plans to meet up, and even said he was 'begging' to. When he arrived at the meeting location, he was taken into custody by investigators. The detective sent a message through the account, and Coronel's phone allegedly received a notification while they observed. 'Coronel's lack of concern for the child's safety, immediate willingness to travel to sexually abuse a child, and comments about begging to sexually abuse a child show that he is a substantial danger to any child in the community,' the arresting officer wrote in his probable cause statement. 1 killed, 1 hurt, man arrested after Marion County crash
LEBANON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A two-vehicle crash killed one man and left a passenger in his car injured, leading to the arrest of a Marion County man. It happened just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police (KSP). An initial investigation showed that Justin Baron, 26, of Loretto, was driving west on US-68 in a 2002 Dodge Ram and allegedly tried to make a right turn at high speed through the intersection of the highway and the Lebanon Bypass.
