#SHOWBIZ: Diana Danielle roars back with 'Raja Dusta'

TALENTED singer and actress Diana Danielle makes a triumphant return to the music scene with her latest single, 'Raja Dusta' (King of Lies).
This isn't just a song; it's a bold, sassy, and empowering anthem about breaking free from toxic relationships.
Diana is turning up the volume on female strength, addressing the too-often-silent suffering caused by misogyny.
"I wanted to create something upbeat and fun, a playful jab at situations I, and many others, have experienced," Diana said.
While 'Raja Dusta' might echo some parts of her personal journey, she insists it's not aimed at anyone in particular.
Instead, it's a universal shout-out to anyone who's endured false promises and manipulated hopes and finally found the courage to say, "Enough!"
Known for her previous hit "Bersama Dengan Rindu" (Together With Longing), Diana is keen to emphasise that the message of 'Raja Dusta' transcends gender.
"I want everyone to vibe to this track, minus the bitterness," she explained.
"It's all about having the guts to make the best call for yourself.
"We've all been in unbalanced relationships, and this song is your reminder not to fall for sweet talk when actions don't match."
Diana's studio time with producer John Jeeves was clearly a blast.
She describes the recording process as "so much fun", even though it was their first time working together.
And the good vibes didn't stop there. Diana credits her whole team — Universal Music, the MV director, cast, crew and dancers — for their incredible support.
"I was a bit rusty, you know? It's been two years since my last song," Diana admitted.
"My confidence was a little shaky, but everyone around me was so supportive and made me feel totally at ease.
"I'm really hoping this is the beginning of a great comeback in music."
The 'Raja Dusta' music video was an adventure in itself, involving high-energy dance sequences and a marathon shoot at the Palm Garden Hotel in Putrajaya.
"I keep saying 'fun' because that's exactly what it was!" Diana says.
"It was challenging and pushed me way out of my comfort zone, but I knew I had to embrace the energy."
Ultimately, Diana hopes 'Raja Dusta' will be more than just a catchy tune.
"I want people to belt this out in their cars, in the shower, wherever! Music is a celebration, and I hope anyone who's walked away from a toxic situation celebrates their freedom and their own bravery," she added.
'Raja Dusta' is now available on all digital streaming platforms, and the music video can be watched on YouTube.

Cafe's sea view turns out to be just printed mural

Compiled by CHARLES RAMENDRAN, TAN SIN CHOW and R. ARAVINTHAN A CAFE in China has stirred online controversy after its much-hyped 'lemon tree-themed sea view' turned out to be just a printed mural on an interior wall, China Press reported. Feeling deceived, a netizen shared her frustration on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese lifestyle platform, after travelling a long way to the cafe in Qingdao, Shandong province. The woman, who enjoys exploring different cafes and shops, said there was no real sea at the backdrop or lemon tree in sight unlike what was featured online. Her post went viral and drew a wave of sarcastic comments. A social media user said: 'Good thing you posted this – I might have gone myself.' Another likened the marketing as 'worse than scams in KK Garden in Myanmar', referring to a cybercrime and online fraud hub. > The residence of the late Cantopop diva Anita Mui has been described as 'maze-like', with some suggesting it should be converted into a museum, Sin Chew Daily reported. Many social media users commented that her home at Henredon Court, Shouson Hill Road in Hong Kong is spacious, with others even analysing its feng shui. This came after Michael Lui, a real estate agent, showcased a rare look inside the house on his YouTube channel. Mui purchased the property in 1993 under a company name for HK$20mil (about RM10.86mil) then. The duplex unit, measuring 4,075sq ft, overlooks Ocean Park and the Wong Chuk Hang MTR Station. It also offers a breathtaking 180-degree view of Shouson Hill. Mui, known as the 'Asian Madonna', died in 2003 at the age of 40 after a long battle with cervical cancer. (Video) YouTuber Tzuyang Reveals How Much She Makes From Mukbang Videos

If you've opened YouTube before, chances are you've come across mukbang videos, where the content creator consumes large quantities of food in one sitting. One of the biggest creators in the mukbang scene is South Korean YouTuber Tzuyang (쯔양), who currently boasts 12.2 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform. The YouTuber recently appeared on the MBC variety show 'Radio Star', where she shared more about her online career. During the show, the hosts expressed curiosity about Tzuyang's income, given her massive subscriber count and the average viewership for her videos. The content creator then candidly revealed her monthly income, saying she can earn more than KRW100 million (approximately RM306,340) per month. Tzuyang said, 'If you estimate my channel earnings at KRW100 million a month, there were times in the past when I made much more than that.' However, the YouTuber added that her salary fluctuates, meaning she could earn a lot less in other months. Additionally, Tzuyang notes that her actual profit isn't as much as one might expect because most of what she earns goes back to her channel and business. The social media personality said, 'The more that comes in, the more that goes out. I have a lot of employees, and I run a restaurant too, so the food costs are huge. The actual profits aren't as high as people might think.' In the same episode, Tzuyang shared her monthly food expenses, explaining that she spends a lot of money on food in her videos. The 28-year-old also revealed that she once spent KRW3 million (approximately RM9,190) on a single meal. While on the topic of YouTube income, one of the show's hosts, Kim Gura (김구라), also shared his online earnings from when he uploaded golfing videos. The emcee said he could earn around KRW30 million (approximately RM91,900) to KRW40 million (approximately RM122,530) per month. He also noted that his golfing videos have long runtimes but high retention, resulting in millions of views in total. It's also worth noting that Tzuyang has travelled to other countries to film her mukbang videos, showing the lengths she goes to for her YouTube channel. Given the production value of her videos, we'd say her earnings are reasonable. Check out her appearance on 'Radio Star' below: Source: YouTube

Lofi Girl finally graduates after seven years of non-stop studying

PETALING JAYA, July 31 — After seven years of hitting the books, Lofi Girl — the beloved animated figure behind the viral 'lo-fi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study to' YouTube stream — has finally wrapped up her studies. In a TikTok video shared on July 29 spotted by E! Online, the ever-studious character apparently swapped her signature headphones for a graduation cap, proudly holding a laptop that read, 'THE END'. The clip featured audio from Disney Channel's A.N.T. Farm: 'Finally, finished with all my homework. I don't know what I learned, but I know I'm done learning.' The internet, of course, rejoiced. YouTube's official TikTok account commented, 'girl congratulations and we MEAN THAT', while Duolingo Brazil chimed in with 'End of an era'. Lofi Girl has been a fixture on YouTube since 2018, looping endlessly in a cozy, Studio Ghibli-style animation as lo-fi beats played in the background. Her study sessions were briefly interrupted in 2020 and 2022 due to copyright complaints, but YouTube later restored the streams. The channel, originally known as ChilledCow, now boasts over 15 million subscribers. As for what's next? No one's sure — but for now, Lofi Girl is finally taking a well-earned break.
