The show was conceived by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari. The first season of Bandish Bandits premiered in August 2020. Anand directed the sequel and co-wrote the series with Atmika Didwania and Karan Singh Tyagi.
Shreya Chaudhry was most recently seen on The Mehta Boys with Avinash Tiwary and Boman Irani. The film concentrates on the fragile relationship of a father and son who are compelled to live together for 48 hours when a family member dies. It was available on Prime Video this February.
