Barcelona young sensation praised by former Premier League duo for one key trait
Lamine Yamal has rightfully been hyped as one of the best players in the world after his quality last season and it is clear that he has a long and successful career ahead of him.
There have been worries in recent weeks about the player's lifestyle and his possible straying off track with overt celebrations. However, he has always been one to speak through action and one cannot fault him as long as he produces the same impact.

Last season, he was Barcelona's single-most important creative outlet across all competitions and even improved significantly in terms of goals as the season reached its end.
Two greats praise the phenom
Paul Pogba was recently invited on Sergio Kun Aguero's podcast for a guest appearance and the duo conversed on a plethora of topics.
One of the topics they touched upon, and even went on to agree on, was Lamine Yamal's undeniable quality and his 'team first' mentality over his personal accomplishments.

Speaking on the Barcelona phenomenon, Aguero had nothing but praise as he highlighted the youngster's ability to bring creativity and goal contributions with ease, but stressed how he plays for the team.

'Lamine Yamal plays for the team and doesn't care if he scores more or less goals. He gives a lot of assists and is always a player who creates chances,' he said.
To the Argentine legend's words, Pogba could only agree and further elaborate on how he was impressed by Yamal's maturity and mentality to put the team first.
'He is a wonderful player, what surprises me most is his mentality. He always plays clearly and that that happens with a player his age is crazy. He always plays for the team.'
Yamal is currently on vacation and will return to train for pre-season early next month. He will once again have a pioneering role to play for the Catalans under Hansi Flick next season.

German cross-country skier Victoria Carl fails doping test
BERLIN (AP) — German cross-country skier Victoria Carl has tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol, the German skiing association said Wednesday. The 29-year-old Carl, who was second in the overall World Cup standings last season, failed the test after her final race at the Military World Games in March. The skiing association, known by its German acronym DSV, said Carl's positive test for clenbuterol arose after she was given the wrong cough syrup to treat acute spastic bronchitis by a German army doctor. 'This is a regrettable isolated incident that arose from an unfortunate combination of organizational and medical circumstances – not from any intent to deceive the athlete,' the DSV said. The DSV published a statement from the German army's medical service saying the skier was erroneously given the combination drug Spasmo Mucosolvan containing ambroxol and clenbuterol instead of Mucosolvan containing just ambroxol. Germany's National Anti-Doping Agency has initiated proceedings. The DSV and German army said they're hoping for the athlete's 'complete acquittal.' ___ AP skiing:

On Tuesday morning, Gadsden County's lineman Jakobe Green announced on his X page that he has verbally committed to the Seminoles. This was a day after he decommitted from Mississippi State.
