Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Israel's Ground Operations in Gaza
Saudi Arabia has strongly denounced the ongoing Israeli ground operations in Gaza amid Israel's military escalation in the Strip.
On Monday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Kingdom 'strongly condemns Israel's military escalation in the northern and southern parts of Gaza, as well as the expansion of Israeli occupation of large areas of the territory.'
The statement said that these actions 'contradict the will of the international community, violate human rights law and UN charters, and hinder prospects for peace and stability in the region.'
In the light of this, the Kingdom reiterated its condemnation and denunciation of all ground operations carried out by Israeli forces, warning that they pose a threat to the lives of Palestinian civilians and aggravate the humanitarian suffering of Gaza's population.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia warned of the serious consequences of continuing these blatant and unjustified violations, as they constitute a clear breach of international law and the rights of the Palestinian people, the statement noted.
On Sunday, Israel announced it had launched 'extensive ground operations' throughout Gaza as part of its Operation Gideon Chariots, a major military offensive aiming to ramp up pressure on Hamas to release the remaining hostages. The Israeli airstrikes killed at least 103 people, including children, according to Gaza's health authorities.
