The ongoing dispute between BTS' management and NewJeans' management has taken a new turn at the latest hearing. According to Korean media news outlet No Cut News, it was reported that the company had claimed that the former CEO of NJZ's management had a direct relationship with the family members of the group. They alleged that Min Hee Jin was directly involved in drafting the protest emails that were shared by the female K-pop group's families.
The company has claimed that at first glance, the email shared by NewJeans' family was nothing more than them being concerned about the girls. They then continued by stating that the email may have been adulterated and 'influenced' by Min Hee Jin.
They stated that the email was instead made in a way to pressure the company and to change public opinion about the company as well. They claimed that this betrayed the company's trust with Min Hee Jin and heavily affected their image in the public sphere as well.
Alleged messages sent by Min Hee Jin
During the court hearing, they also shared a series of text messages sent allegedly by Min Hee Jin to ADOR employees with the words "Send this to Danielle's mom" and "Revise this to sound like Hyein's father."
A representative from BTS' management stated that Hee Jin's alleged messages accounted for "clear contractual grounds for termination". They also added that "There is no longer any trust between us and the defendant, Min Hee Jin."

What Jimin meant through the text was that he discussed wanting to meet fans and about expressing his love for them again with RM. After that, they parted and returned to their respective activities or rooms. That was mistranslated by Weverse as "break up", causing widespread concern among international ARMYs. They were infuriated at the error and wanted the app to fix the issue as soon as possible. The entire situation is a classic example of bizarre Weverse translations.
