Sharon Osbourne axes huge band from Ozzy's farewell gig after bust up
It remains a mystery which band are no longer playing the charity concert on July 5 at Birmingham's Villa Park as a result of the fallout with music mogul Sharon.
She told Metal Hammer: "I had a huge, huge to-do with a manager over this celebration for Ozzy and Sabbath. And it was probably the worst way I've felt in years.
"I don't care what this person says about me, thinks about it, because he doesn't know me. And he's now going around making up bull**** lies because I threw his band off the bill."
There was speculation that Tool were the band in question after their name was removed from the lineup online, however, it has since returned.
Sharon continued: "Because do you know what? I don't love them. I care about people who love me, what they say about me. You can't care what an industry says, because you don't love them, so how can it hurt you? It doesn't.'
The lineup also includes Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan, Duff McKagan and Slash of Guns 'N Roses, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Korn star Jonathan Davis, Anthrax, and Wolfgang Van Halen.
The concert is set to be Ozzy's final show after he was struck by a series of health issues, and he recently admitted the impact of preparing for the gig.
He told the 'Ozzy Speaks' podcast on SiriusXM: 'All I can say is I'm giving 120 percent. If my God wants me to do the show, I'll do it.'
The performance at Villa Park marks Ozzy's first live appearance since 2018 and follows a series of health setbacks, including his 2020 public disclosure of a Parkinson's disease diagnosis.
He added on his podcast about the mental toll of preparing to return to the stage: 'My head's crazy. ADHD – I have that badly. I will have done the show and died a death before I even started my exercises.
'So I try and put it on the back burner. I'm not going up there saying, 'It's going to be great. I'm really confident.''
Ozzy recalled a specific instance of intense fear before a previous show, saying: 'I remember being in fing Vegas one time being in the dressing room going, 'I'm going to play. I'm going to die'.
And I talked myself into blowing the gig. It was only two f-ing songs.'
Referring to his wife, he added: 'Sharon goes, 'Just don't think about it.' I obsess about a f-ing bird c******* on my show.'
Ozzy's preparation for the show includes rigorous training.
He said: 'I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It's hard going, but he's convinced that he can pull it off for me.
'I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day. I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.'
Ozzy also admitted he is still uncertain whether he will perform standing up or seated, following multiple spinal surgeries related to a 2003 quad bike accident at his Buckinghamshire home.
A fall in 2019 displaced metal rods inserted into his back from the crash, which he said has caused more complications than Parkinson's itself.
Ozzy was diagnosed with a mild form of Parkinson's in 2003 and delayed going public with his news until 2020.

The official matchday programme also featured an illustration of Ozzy walking up the steps of the ground wearing a No.9 shirt with his name written above it. Ozzy's love for Aston Villa stemmed from him growing up in Birmingham, in the suburb of Aston, just a mile away from Villa Park. He told The Athletic in 2024: ''I was born in Aston and spent my childhood watching carloads of people going to the Villa football matches,' he told The Athletic in 2024. This isn't the first time the club have honoured Ozzy as they've had a mural created of him outside the stadium. It showcases the performer with his mouth wide open and wearing his iconic round sunglasses, with the words 'Ozzy forever' etched across it. Following his death, Aston Villa took to their Instagram page to pen: 'Aston Villa Football Club is saddened to learn that world-renowned rockstar and Villan, Ozzy Osbourne has padded away. BBC has sent fans wild with a new EastEnders trailer, which confirms the return of two legendary characters. Viewers have been questioning when Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) would be making a return to the soap after she left before Martin Fowler's funeral. Leaving off screen, it was announced that she had gone off to visit Michelle in Australia, after struggling with the aftermath of Martin's death. Now, a rare trailer has confirmed Sharon will be back on screens soon, as well as Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). Yungblud shares the brutal way he found out about Ozzy Osbourne's death
Ozzy Osbourne's death came as a shock to many but while the rest of the world found out from the family's statement, Yungblud was told less gently. The Prince of Darkness died aged 76 from a heart attack on July 22 and was laid to rest days later in Birmingham. He had formed a close friendship with Yungblud, real name Dom Harrison, after crossing paths in 2022, becoming a mentor to the rising star. The pair were so close Dom was texting with the Black Sabbath icon up until his death, with Osbourne's son Jack having to break the news. 'I was texting him, then his son Jack texted me and said, 'He's gone.' I'm like, 'What?'' the 28-year-old star told The Sun. He explained that the past few weeks had been 'very weird to connect with', having performed with Osbourne at the Back to the Beginning concert in early July. 'You get to know someone personally, who you love. And then they leave,' Dom continued. 'Being around the family and being at the funeral, the amount of love there.' The funeral was an emotional affair with a procession through the streets of Osbourne's hometown, Birmingham, filled with fans paying tribute. His widow, Sharon Osbourne, was seen sobbing alongside their children as they approached Black Sabbath Bridge in a heartbreaking moment. Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo shared some insight into the private family funeral when Osbourne was buried on the grounds of his mansion. Speaking on SiriusXM's Trunk Nation, the 60-year-old musician said: When Kelly was singing, her lyrics flew. Like the wind blew her lyrics away. It was almost like Ozzy was having fun with her. 'Geezer broke down in tears. He had a hard time, obviously, speaking. And then he came back up and he delivered an amazing eulogy. 'The sun actually came out, and then it was beautiful from that moment on.' Alongside Kelly, Dom was one of the chosen few who performed at the funeral, singing a rendition of Changes, which he also sang at the farewell gig. Dom has now released the live version of the 1972 solo track, with proceeds going to Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorns Children's Hospice. 'The best thing is that I got to honour my hero,' Dom shared in the interview. 'That's all I was thinking about. I was singing for one man there.' He had previously shared a snap of the iconic crucifix Osbourne often wore, which he passed on to the Abyss singer before his death. In his tribute to Osbourne, the singer said the crucifix was 'the most precious thing' he owned. 'I didn't think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room,' he penned alongside pictures of the duo backstage at the Back to the Beginning concert.
