Which One: Drake and Central Cee's drop new song

BBC News25-07-2025
Drake has dropped a new single with UK rapper Central Cee ahead of a three-night run of shows in Manchester. The song - Which One - was revealed during an episode of the Canadian's Iceman stream, broadcast on Thursday, which was filmed around the city.It features scenes of the rapper running from a pursuer in a Pinocchio mask - a symbol fans interpreted as "lies" following Drake around.Which One is the second collaboration between the Hotline Bling star and Central Cee, who released his first album at the start of this year. The artists previously came together in the booth back in 2023 for the song On the Radar Freestyle.
Drake teased his latest during the second of his three headline slots at London's Wireless festival. He brought Central Cee on-stage during his performance, and told the crowd: "I'm so proud of this guy."He's going around the world, killing it, shutting down every show, record after record."Drake also praised other UK rappers during his takeover of the festival."Nobody can out-rap London rappers. This is the best, this is the highest level," he told fans.
Drake's feud with Kendrick Lamar captivated music fans last year, and any new release from either rapper is scoured for references to the other.Earlier this month, Drake released What Did I Miss? which addressed the beef, questioning the loyalty of friends choosing to hang around with his rivals. Fans speculated he was referring to NBA player LeBron James and fellow Toronto singer The Weeknd. The song debuted at number two on the US Billboard 100 chart, and Drake expressed frustration at being kept off the top spot by Alex Warren's hit Ordinary. "I'm taking that soon don't worry, one song or another," he wrote on his Instagram Story.
Iceman will be Drake's 9th studio album and his first solo release since 2023's For All Of The Dogs, which went to number one in the charts. "I'm working on my album, we got a lot to talk about," he told the crowd at his Birmingham concert this week, part of his first UK tour in 6 years. In February, he released $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, a collaborative album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, which features the viral hit 'Nokia'. Drake is one of the most-streamed artists in the world and is currently tied with Michael Jackson as the male solo artist with most number one songs (13) in Billboard Hot 100 history.

Amy Bradley's cryptic letter to girlfriend 'predicting disappearance' before she vanished

A month before she disappeared from a Caribbean cruise ship, Amy Bradley penned a heartfelt letter to her girlfriend, asking her to "save" her, as seen in the Netflix documentary Before her vanishing on a family holiday, Amy Lynn Bradley made a tearful confession to her girlfriend: she had kissed another woman. ‌ The news devastated her lover Mollie McClure, prompting her to cut off communication to process the betrayal. ‌ Desperate to reconnect, Amy, from Virginia, penned a heartfelt letter and sent it to Mollie in a "message in a bottle." The handwritten note, now shared in episode three of Netflix 's Amy Bradley Is Missing, would gain haunting significance just weeks later when the 23-year-old vanished without a trace during a Caribbean cruise with her family. It comes after a dad died in scalding hot bath as family slam hotel management for 'ignoring warnings'. ‌ "Mollie, I hurt you deeper than you can ever forget," Amy wrote. "I'm not asking you to forget… I just wanted to ask you if you could find it in your heart to forgive me. "I feel like there is an ocean between us, like I'm on a desert island waiting for you to rescue me… Save me, please. Stranded, Amy." ‌ Exactly one month after writing those words, on March 24, 1998, Amy disappeared from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship while docked in Curaçao. She was last seen by her father, asleep on the cabin balcony between 5:15 and 5:30am. By 6am, she was gone, leaving behind everything but her lighter and cigarettes. Since then, theories have ranged from accidental drowning or suicide to kidnapping and human trafficking. While some point to the letter as a possible clue to suicide, McClure disagrees. "It could suggest suicide," Mollie says in the series. "But I don't connect with it in that way." ‌ 'It is a love letter. The metaphor — 'stranded,' 'ocean between us' — is convenient to misread, but I don't interpret it that way.' Amy's disappearance has sparked a decades-long investigation and her family has occasionally received tips that have seemed promising. In August 1998, Canadian tourist David Carmichael claimed he saw Amy on a Curaçao beach flanked by two individuals. He said the woman pointed to her tattoos, which matched Amy's. Authorities searched the area, but found nothing. ‌ Then in January 1999, a U.S. Navy petty officer reported that a woman at a brothel in Curaçao told him, 'My name is Amy Bradley,' and begged for help. She reportedly panicked when he mentioned a nearby naval ship, responding, 'No, you don't understand.' ‌ The officer didn't take action, her father, Ron Bradley, told NBC News — in in part because the officer wasn't allowed to be in the brothel and because he didn't know anyone by that name was missing until he saw a magazine cover with Amy's face and name on it. In 2005, the Bradley family received anonymous online photos of a woman named "Jas," who closely resembled Amy. A forensic analysis reportedly suggested a match, but investigators were unable to trace the source of the images, and the FBI found no actionable evidence. Despite public interest and numerous leads, Amy remains missing. The FBI has classified her case as a suspected abduction, but no suspects have been charged, and her fate remains unknown. Now, thanks to the latest Netflix documentary her story is drawing fresh interest, and with it, renewed hope that the mystery might one day be solved.

Justin Bieber shares cryptic four-word post after he admitted to 'extremely selfish' behavior

Justin Bieber appeared online Saturday evening to share a vague post with his 294 million Instagram followers. The 31-year-old Canadian music artist — who gave fans a glimpse into his mansion on Friday — shared a closeup black and white selfie and added a cryptic caption. 'Broke another olive branch,' he wrote, along with a single dove emoji. The Yummy hitmaker didn't add any context, but he could be hinting at ending another friendship after a post shared by him in June included screenshots from a heated text exchange with a former buddy. In February a rep for the star told TMZ he's had a 'very transformative' past year, in which 'he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.' Just days ago the singer admitted to 'selfish' behavior in another social media caption. Engaging his online audience, he wrote, 'Let's have a good day, let's go outside. Get in nature.' Then he wrote, 'Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me.' Justin released his surprise seventh studio album, SWAG, to great fanfare on July 11. Several songs make mention of his public persona, personal struggles, and his commitment to his wife Hailey and their baby son Jack Blues, who will turn one this month. There is also a theme of interludes featuring comedian Druski, in which Justin engages in candid 'therapy sessions' with the social media star. Rumors have recently circulated that the music sensation will tour Australia following the album release. Justin has not confirmed whether he will be touring, nor has Frontier Touring, who told Rolling Stone it had no information on any potential Australian tour dates. The hitmaker previously cancelled his Justice world tour in 2022 for health reasons. On Friday the Honest crooner gave his Instagram followers a peek inside the $26 million Beverly Hills mansion he shares with wife Hailey Bieber. He shared a brief reel as he joined the 'slide city' internet challenge inspired by a lyric from his hit song Yukon. Justin was dressed in red basketball shorts and a white T-shirt as he slid across his hardwood kitchen floor in a pair of knit socks. Hailey, 28, made a cameo appearance as she was shown in the background wearing black leggings and a black pullover sweatshirt.

Grammy nominee 'embarrassed' as tour cancelled after plea to fans over gigs

JP Saxe, whose song If the World Was Ending, featuring Julia Michaels, was nominated for a Grammy in 2019, has announced that his solo tour has now been cancelled Singer-songwriter JP Saxe has announced that his tour has now been cancelled. The Grammy -nominated artist was due to embark on a series of headline shows next month but has told fans that they will no longer be going ahead. ‌ JP, 32, whose song If the World Was Ending, which featured his ex-partner Julia Michaels, received acclaim following its release in 2019, had announced the Make Yourself at Home tour in June. He was scheduled to visit a host of cities in his home country of Canada, the US, Brazil and several other countries on the tour in September and October. ‌ He however announced yesterday that the tour was cancelled and has said that he "didn't sell enough tickets," after sharing concern over the prospect. It comes after Taylor Swift sparks engagement rumours as fans spot Travis Kelce's lock screen. ‌ JP has told fans earlier this week that the tour was at risk of being cancelled. In a video on social media, he said: "I'm extremely embarrassed to tell you this but I'm going to tell you anyway. If I don't sell twenty or so thousand tickets to my tour in the next 48 hours, it's going to be cancelled." He continued: "If we're just not in a place yet to sell out these 2 or 3k cap venues, that's fine. It's always been my goal to connect deeply not widely and I stand by that." ‌ In a message to fans, JP said that "just in case" they were waiting until closer to the gigs to buy tickets "that approach" wouldn't work because there wouldn't be a show. He said: "Whether that happens or not, I'm grateful to you for caring about my songs and I hold on to a sliver of hope that I will see you in the fall." The singer said in the caption of the video, which was shared on platforms like TikTok, that he didn't want to cancel the tour. JP told his followers at the time in the post: "48 hrs… f*** being cool about it, I don't wanna cancel this s**t." He later shared that his friends had told him to "ask for help" from fans and issued another update yesterday. He said the more recent video: "Over the last few days we sold a few thousand extra tickets and I am beyond grateful to everyone of you who bought one. Those few thousand tickets are a reminder that being transparent in failure sometimes can be more powerful than the facade of success." ‌ The performer said that the reaction was also a reminder of how "wonderful" it can be to ask other people for help. He also wrote about watching a "community come together" and said it was the "nicest the internet has ever been" to him. JP, who confirmed that the tour won't be going ahead, continued: "But what those few thousand tickets are not is enough to save this tour. I'm really sorry. I'm so sorry. Every ticket purchase will be fully refunded with a small side of immense gratitude from a dorky ginger Canadian." ‌ He added: "I'm still a little embarrassed. I'm also feeling a lot of ambition to make sure this never happens again and just to make the most honest music I possibly can and the squad can grow and we can just have these full rooms but until then, I love you and I'm grateful to each one of you who bought a ticket and I'm really sorry." JP apologised again in the caption and said that he was "so grateful" for the way that fans have "shown up" for him lately. He said: "Thank you for giving a s**t about my music, I've certainly still got lots in me to share with you." In a guest column for Variety, published yesterday, JP said that his team were told last week that ticket sales "weren't where they needed to be". He said that it was suggested that he cancel the tour and then "try again next year". ‌ He said that it had felt "more embarrassing" before he publicly shared that the tour was at risk and suggested that he had "aimed too high" whilst recalling his initial post. JP said that once he had told his fans it felt "weirdly empowering" and he has suggested the experience will be better for his "growth". JP wrote in the recent article: "Applause for success is great. But there is something more interesting about being applauded for honesty in failure." He added: "It's not as good for my ego - but maybe it's better for my growth."
