While The Sun is keeping the identities of the booted cast locked down to preserve the surprise for viewers, the shock twist left the villa horrified and in tears.
We can reveal that the trio included a girl who has caused loads of drama this year.
The scenes will play out over a number of episodes this week.
A source said: 'Love Island fans know a dumping usually follows a favourite couple vote and it often happens during format points like themed parties - so there's no surprise in that.
'But the fact a third islander got the boot is a real shock twist and it left the cast horrified and in tears.
'They thought the cull was over after a couple were shown the door.
'The trio includes a girl who has been a big part of this year's most dramatic moments.'
It comes as the Islanders were treated to their very own music festival headlined by Tinie Tempah.
The party was a chance for them to let their hair down and escape the drama of the past few days, with Lauren Wood and Harrison Solomon's double exit sending shockwaves through the villa.

But the feelgood vibes end when the results of the latest public vote are revealed.
Fans flooded social media last night with their predictions of who will be in the bottom two.
One said: "It's absolutely a vote to get rid of the ones who aren't going anywhere - Emma & Boris watch out."
Another insisted: "I have no doubt in my mind that this is probably going to be a vote where Dejon will be in the bottom BUT he won't leave."
One more echoed over on X: "From all The votes so far I fear it's Emma and Boris that'd be dumped, haven't seen anyone voting for them. Meg and Dejon live to fight another day sigh."

And on Tuesday, it was revealed that the grand finale had pulled in 1.3million viewers, up 300,000 from the All Stars spin-off that aired earlier this year. Along with series 10 in 2023, the figure now holds the joint-highest position since series eight, which was won by Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu in 2022, and pulled in a solid three million viewers. The latest series has seen the highest number of complaints to Ofcom since the 2022 series. A total of 9,339 complaints were made to the broadcasting regulator in this vein whilst a further 298 were made about the way Blu spoke to Toni. Elsewhere, there were 55 complaints about Megan returning to the villa following her democratic dumping and a further 29 complaints expressed their concern for Harry following his breakup with Helena as he opened up about his feelings for Shakira. It comes after Harry's weird fetish on the show had fans left feeling disgusted for a very specific reason. One Islander to face criticism from viewers was Harrison, who quit the series three weeks before the final. Amid his stint on Love Island, a spokesperson for the women's charity issued a statement to the Tab, which included mention of women being "lied to, slut-shamed and manipulated, as well as laughed at behind their backs" during their time on the show. Harrison then addressed the "backlash" in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying he has found it "hard to digest". He told the outlet: "I would disagree with a lot of it in terms of my respect for women, I do respect women." He said that the "worst" reaction had been from Women's Aid. He said: "I know myself and the girls on the show too, Toni said she knows I'm not a bad person, just went about situations in the wrong way, but the Women's Aid statement wasn't nice ... it's not nice coming out of the villa to my mum upset by that so I would say that's been the hardest." Harrison said that he is "sorry" to the women that he has "hurt," before saying that he "got it wrong". He added that the "back and forth" between his connections with Lauren and Toni ended up causing "more harm" than he intended. He however said that it wasn't "an ego thing". The former islander said he isn't proud of the way he handled things in the villa and won't "make excuses". Harrison said that he just wants to "own it" and assured: "If people can give me the space to grow from it, I will do everything I can to be better, and that's the only thing I can do."

Royal Welsh Show 2025 Attracted Record Breaking Crowds
Martin Clunes inspecting the eventual winner of the supreme horse champion. This year's Royal Welsh Show has been declared an 'outstanding success' after attracting record-breaking crowds. 'This year's Royal Welsh Show was a true celebration of the very best of Wales,' said Royal Welsh Agricultural Society (RWAS) chief executive, Aled Rhys Jones. 'We welcomed incredible crowds to Llanelwedd, with perfect conditions setting the stage for what has been a truly memorable show. 'The standard of livestock exhibits was exceptional and it was fantastic to see new additions like the Heavy Horse Village proving so popular with visitors. 'Thousands of families joined us and it was especially encouraging to see so many young people enjoying the show – the zip wire at the Armed Forces stand was a real draw all week. 'We also saw a brilliant response on our social media platforms, with our video of the Welsh national anthem at Moliant y Maes reaching over 250,000 views. Our sincere thanks go to Caernarfon, this year's feature county, and to all our loyal supporters who make this show so special year after year.' The show was officially opened by broadcaster and journalist, Dei Tomos, in a ceremony that reflected the deep-rooted traditions of Welsh farming and culture. Later, The Princess Royal attended the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth's annual meeting, held at the showground, before meeting show exhibitors and volunteers, and witnessing the variety of competitions. Beef cattle supreme champion Arradfoot Undin, a British Limousin from Thor Atkinson, care of Keadyview Livestock, Powys. This year, Caernarfonshire was the feature county. Actor and horseman Martin Clunes toured the new Heavy Horse Village alongside Rhys Eifion Griffith, whose vision as this year's ambassador saw its creation. Mr Clunes toured the showground before stepping into the ring to judge the prestigious supreme horse championship. Main ring displays included the horsemanship of the Ukrainian Cossacks, the Bolddog FMX display team and the grand parade of champions, which showcased the best animals from across the showground. Blue tongue restrictions meant that no livestock exhibitors from England or Scotland were able to participate this year. However, Mr Owen paid tribute to the livestock exhibitors. 'While we were disappointed that some of our regular livestock exhibitors from England and Scotland were unable to join us this year, I'm incredibly proud of how our Welsh farming community stepped up to the challenge,' he said. 'The quality of livestock on display was exceptional, with Welsh exhibitors providing strong, competitive classes that truly showcased the excellence of Welsh breeding and husbandry. This demonstrates the resilience and quality that defines Welsh agriculture.' The supreme champions were: Beef cattle: Arradfoot Undin, a British Limousin from Mr Thor Atkinson, care of Keadyview Livestock, Powys. Winners Toni and Cach secured an impressive 33.5% of the audience's support. Shakira and Harry drew a sizeable 26.2% of the votes, while Yas and Jamie were not far behind taking 22% on the nose. Aesthetics practitioner Angel, 26, only made her debut on July 17, but managed to secure an impressive 18.3% of the overall voting audience with Casa Amor boy Ty. As for Yasmin, she entered the villa on Day 5 alongside fellow bombshells Emily and Malisha. She then explored connections with villa boys Shea, Conor, Harry and Ben. Yasmin met Jamie during Casa Amor - and their bond continued into the final. Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
