MSU football extends official offer to commit 3-star S Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy
Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy of Jacksonville, Fla. announced on Friday morning that he has received his official offer from Michigan State. Caldwell-Hardy posted on his social media X account to make the official offer known.
August 1 is the first day for schools to extend official offers to prospects in the 2026 class.
Caldwell-Hardy is a three-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 86 in 247Sports' system. He is ranked as the No. 118 safety in 247Spors' composite rankings for the 2026 class.
Caldwell-Hardy has been committed to Michigan State since early June. He elected to become a Spartan over notable offers from UCLA, Tulane, Navy, Florida Atlantic and Middle Tennessee State.

Ahead of his junior season at Lowndes High School, Johnson made his mark during his 2024 sophomore season after throwing for 1,799 yards, 16 touchdowns, and three interceptions, paired with over 300 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. These numbers are just the start for Johnson, whose elite arm talent and impressive touch put him ahead of schedule as a passer. According to 247Sports, Johnson is currently positioned as the 63rd-ranked prospect in the 2027 cycle, the 6th-ranked quarterback, and the 7th-ranked prospect in Georgia. Tennessee basketball offers top-rated 2026 prospect from North Carolina
Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2026 basketball signing class. Tennessee offered a scholarship to four-star power forward Cody Peck. Additionally, Dushawn London of 247Sports announced the 2026 prospect will visit Tennessee on Oct. 24. The 6-foot-10, 180-pound prospect is from Davidson Day School in Davidson, North Carolina. 247Sports ranks Peck as the No. 11 power forward in the class and the No. 1 player in North Carolina. East Carolina was the first school to offer him a scholarship on May 20, 2024. Other schools to offer him a scholarship include Charlotte, Samford, Appalachian State, Sam Houston State, Marshall, UTSA, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Creighton, Dayton, LSU, Georgetown and SMU. Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2026 basketball recruiting class. The Vols have six commitments in their 2025 basketball recruiting class: forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson, forward Nate Ament, shooting guard Clarence Massamba and shooting guard Ethan Burg. Former Iowa football running back accepts new coaching position
When players go through the Iowa football system, they become so much more knowledgeable of the game and can think football at a higher level than others. That's a big reason why so many Hawkeyes find their way into the NFL and usually stick around longer than some may expect. But for those who weren't able to make it to the league, that knowledge doesn't evaporate. Some players use it to be involved with the game in a different aspect: coaching. And this former Iowa football running back is the next in a great line of Hawkeyes turned into coaches. Bemidji State University football announced on X that it had hired former Hawkeye running back Ivory Kelly-Martin to be its running backs coach for the 2025 season. Bemidji State is a Division II school located in Bemidji, Minnesota. They compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Kelly-Martin played at Iowa from 2017-2021, appearing in 44 games. He had 181 carries for 804 yards and six rushing touchdowns in those 44 games. He spent a lot of time backing up Tyler Goodson and providing valuable snaps. While he wasn't a star at Iowa, Kelly-Martin was well respected by his teammates and coaching staff and was a true steward of the game. That was evident with his inclusion on the 2021 Players Council. Before accepting this position with Bemidji State, Kelly-Martin was a graduate assistant running backs coach at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. With his Master's in Business Administration all finished up, he can now start his coaching career with the Bemidji State Beavers.
