Samsung Galaxy A17 renders leak

GSM Arena3 days ago
Mere hours ago, we reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A17 received a certification on its way to launch, and now we're back talking about it since a bunch of official-looking renders depicting it have been outed.
All of the images below show the phone in the same dark gray / black colorway except the last one, which gives us a glimpse at a different hue.

The phone we're talking about here is the 5G version, it's still unclear if it will be the only one or if Samsung will also release a 4G iteration like it did last year for its predecessor.
With that out of the way, let's talk specs. The source of these renders confirms the Exynos 1380 SoC which was already outed through a benchmark run. We should apparently also expect a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main snapper, a 5 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.

A previous leak also told us that the main camera would have OIS for the first time in a Samsung in this price range. As you can see from the images, the A17 has a huge chin below the screen and a waterdrop notch, making for a rather vintage look in this day and age.
It looks like the main upgrades in the A17 compared to the A16 will be the chipset and the OIS support in the main camera. Everything else seems to have remained identical, including, allegedly, the dimensions.
In the US, the Galaxy A17 will be sold by T-Mobile for sure, but perhaps other carriers as well. The Galaxy A16 has by some measurements been Samsung's best-selling phone recently, and so its successor has a lot to live up to. It's expected to become official in October. Google Pixel Watch 4 pricing for the US leaks

Vlad, 31 July 2025 Google is unveiling the Pixel 10 family on August 20, and the Pixel Watch 4 will join the phones. Earlier this month, there was a rumor telling us how much the Pixel Watch 4 would cost in Europe, and today it's time to have the pricing conversation again, only this time for the US market. Over there, the watch is allegedly going to start at $349 in 41mm with Wi-Fi-only. The LTE-capable 41mm watch will be $399. If you want the 45mm Pixel Watch 4, it will be $399 with Wi-Fi-only and $449 with LTE. If you buy one, you'll receive six months of Fitbit Premium and one month of YouTube Premium for free. That's three times less YouTube Premium than you get if you buy a Pixel 10 device, and the watch also doesn't grant you any Google AI Pro plan freebie. The Pixel Watch 4 will use a new cradle that charges it from the side, abandoning the puck that its predecessor had. While this will leave the charging contacts exposed on the side of the watch, it's rumored to enable 25% faster charging than the Pixel Watch 3. The new device will allegedly be able to go from zero to 50% in 15 minutes, and zero to 80% in 30 minutes. Google Pixel Watch 3 32GB 2GB RAM € 279.89 Source

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 breaks pre-order record

Vlad, 31 July 2025 If you actually meaningfully upgrade a device over its predecessors, a lot of people will want it - who knew? This is the lesson Samsung has now learned with the Galaxy Z Fold7. After many years of coasting by and allowing Chinese foldables to beat its top of the line offering in a lot of areas, Samsung actually tried this year with the Fold7 - and succeeded. The company has now announced that the phone has broken the pre-order record in the US. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Samsung has seen the highest number of pre-orders ever for a book-style foldable. Pre-orders jumped more than 25% over last year overall, while carrier partners saw an even more massive 60% jump cumulatively for the Fold7 and Flip7. The duo became available last week, and in the first week of availability orders have continued to outpace the previous generation by more than 25% combined. The Fold7 is actually outperforming its predecessor by nearly 50%. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Interestingly, the Blue Shadow colorway made up nearly half of the Fold7's pre-orders, which proves to Samsung that people don't just want black and silver foldables. As for the Flip7, the Coral Red colorway has exceeded expectations, making up 25% of pre-orders. These color trends "are remaining steady through the first week of availability", Samsung says.
