World Cup of Darts 2025 schedule, TV channel, teams, fixtures and odds
A unique event on the PDC calendar gets underway on Thursday night as the World Cup of Darts kicks off in Frankfurt.
Teams of two from 40 nations will be battling it out over four days, with the champions crowned on Sunday night.
The pair representing England are the runaway favourites as the team consists of world number one Luke Humphries and world champion Luke Littler.
'We believe we can win it, and if we perform at our best, it's going to take something special to stop us!' Humphries declared confidently and accurately.
Other countries in with a chance of upsetting the favourites include Scotland, Netherlands and Wales, with Jonny Clayton liking his chances alongside Gerwyn Price.
'We're there to try and win the trophy. We've done it twice before and we believe we can do it again,' said the Ferret.
'I don't care that Luke and Luke are world number one and the world number two. Us Welsh boys are going to stop them!'
The World Cup of is played from June 12-15 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany.
Sky Sports will be showing all the action from Frankfurt across Sky Sports Action and Main Event.
The format of this event has changed over the years but now every match is just one doubles contest.
The group stages are best-of-seven legs, the second round, quarters and semis are best-of-15 and the final is best-of-19.

Ex-Newtown player joins backroom staff at Tottenham Hotspur
A FORMER Newtown player has joined the coaching team at English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. Joe Newton has followed Thomas Frank from English top flight rivals Brentford where he served as first team analyst since 2019. Newton came through the ranks at Tranmere Rovers and had a spell at Wrexham before a season on loan at Newtown in the JD Cymru Premier in 2017. The 29-year-old started his career as the match analyst for Wales' Under-18s and held the same role at Welsh club New Saints FC before making the move to the Gtech Community Stadium six years ago. Newton is a also a graduate of Wrexham's Glyndwr University. Newton and the rest of the new Spurs backroom face a massive battle in reviving the White Hart Lane club's Premier League fortunes after last season's 17th place finish which cost Ange Postecoglou his job despite masterminding the London club's first trophy in two decades courtesy of lifting the Europa League.
