Dunelm 'thick and soft' washable rug that's available in nine colours get 20% cut in summer sale
Dunelm has launched its big summer sale, which means it is the perfect time to give your home a makeover. With some homeware items receiving price slashes up to 50 per cent, there is sure to be a bargain to be found before the sale ends on June 22.
One such item that shoppers may want to snatch up in the sale is a rug. Normally quite an expensive item to buy - especially for those in need of a rug on the larger side - Dunelm has slashed 20 percent off one rug that has nearly 500 reviews and a 4.6 star rating.
The Snuggle Washable Rug is available in nine vibrant colours, with prices normally ranging from £15 to a whopping £329. However, due to the sale, prices for this popular rug have dropped slightly to between £12 to £263.30.
However, shoppers will need to make sure the size they require is still in stock as some of the colours are already selling fast. The smallest size available is 60cm by 100cm, whereas the largest is 300cm by 400cm. With a wide range of sizes in between, it is important that shoppers measure the size they need before making their purchase.
Available in soft gold, apricot, magenta, cobalt blue, lilac, grey, sage, natural and Ashley blue, there is sure to be a rug available to add a pop of colour to any living space, while also keeping it "warm and stylish", reports Liverpool Echo.
For added protection, the rugs also come with a slip resistant backing to keep the material in place. And for the occasion when food or drink is accidentally spilt onto the rug, it can simply be chucked into the washing machine. Dunelm says that this washing feature adds to the rug's "buy once and buy well" appeal.

Product Description
Another popular rug in the Dunelm sale is the Indulgence Dune Rug. Normally retailing between £49 and £349, shoppers can now grab the smallest rug (80cm by 150cm) for £39.20 and the largest (240cm by 340cm) for £279.20. This rug is available in denim blue, black and natural.
Alternatively, shoppers can head to Next and buy the Premium Cosy Shaggy Rug, which is available in six minimalistic shades. Prices range from £25 to £475 and shoppers say it delivers "good quality and excellent value for money".
Over on Dunelm, the Snuggle Rug has become widely popular with shoppers, as some say they are tempted to buy another for a different room in their home.
One happy shopper wrote: "This is the 3rd rug we have bought. Just perfect for our needs. Good choice of colours and sizes and at such a good price. Haven't washed either rug so unable to comment. Would definitely buy again!!!"
With another customer gushing: "Amazing rug! I bought this rug and for its price was not expecting a rug so soft and thick and of such good quality, I love it."
However, one shopper complained about cleaning the rug, writing: "This rug is definitely soft and super comfortable to sit on. Looks great too. It's pretty impossible to vacuum though. Tried different vacuums and none of them pick up everything. Little bits get stuck in the fibres and handpicking every bit is the only option."
While another wasn't impressed by the quality: "OK rug. Have always bought rugs from Dunelm, and have been happy with previous purchases. This one is thin and ruffles up at the edges - looks more like a bathroom mat than the original intention of a front room rug."
On the flip side, a five-star reviewer commented: "I love this rug. It's really luxurious feeling and is a great size. Really good quality for the price. I'm tempted to buy another for a different room!"
A further customer also said: "Snuggle Rug is fantastic value for money. It's thick and cosy and a brilliant addition to the room. I'd definitely recommend."

Next's 'comfy from first wear' autumn ankle boots are 'great on long walks'
It's time to upgrade our footwear for the new season. The impending arrival of autumn means it's time to switch up our footwear. With the season offering colder weather, it's time to put away the open-toed sandals and heels for another year. For all those upcoming autumnal walks, then shoppers have been heaping praise on Next's Standard/Wide Fit Chelsea Boots - and they are available in the 'it colour' of the season. Costing £46 per pair, these stylish ankle boots are available in two shades of brown - chocolate and tan. The neutral hue is set to be everywhere from footwear to accessories this year. Designed in both a standard/wide fit and an extra wide fit, there is also a black colourway available to buy, with an assortment of sizes ranging from a UK three to a nine still available to buy online. With a trendy faux suede material and a lug outsole, these Chelsea boots have been described as the "perfect cold-weather option", pairing well with staples such as jeans, denim midi skirts and even midi-length dresses. Suede Chelsea Boots Product Description Crafted with elasticated side panels that make them easy to pull on and off, alongside a Forever Comfort cushioned footbed, there's a reason why reviews say that they are "so comfortable from the first time of putting them on." Fashion fans keen to shop the brown suede trend don't just have to settle for boots, as River Island's £32 Brown Faux Suede Ruched Loafers offers a design perfect for more smart-casual outfits. Meanwhile, New Look has been attracting attention with its Tan Suede Lace Up Trainers that cost just £39.99 but look virtually identical to Prada's luxuriously-priced Suede Logo Low-Top Sneakers that cost a staggering £730. As for Next's Chelsea Boots, they have garnered multiple reviews, earning a 4.2 rating from shoppers who have said they are "great on long walks" and " the most comfortable" they have ever bought. One shopper praised: "I can't recommend these boots highly enough. They were so comfortable from the first time putting them on. I have more expensive boots but these are far more comfortable."
