Lisa Armstrong makes big purchase using £31m Ant McPartlin divorce payout
Lisa Armstrong has continued to build up her property portfolio in the wake of her divorce from Ant McPartlin, with the make-up artist buying a third home since the split.
Lisa Armstrong, the renowned makeup artist, has added another property to her growing portfolio following her divorce from TV star Ant McPartlin.
Last year, she reportedly purchased a four-bedroom house near Oxford for over £700,000, adding to her existing properties which include a £2.3million five-bedroom mansion in west London that she retained after her divorce.
In 2020, two years post her split from Ant, Lisa bought a £3.8million house in west London.
It's anticipated that she will carry out extensive renovations on her latest acquisition. While it's unclear if she plans to reside there, she is familiar with the Oxford area having grown up there.
Lisa is quickly establishing herself as a shrewd property developer, having fully renovated her 2020 purchase by adding a pool, gym, outhouse and gazebo, reports the Mirror.
However, her former marital home, which she had been renting out to a family of six, suffered a fire in September 2023 causing £1million worth of damage.
The Mirror reported last year that Lisa was looking to move forward after what our source described as a "topsyturvy few years to say the least."
They added: "She is very much focused on the future and is in a really good place after what was a difficult period,".
Lisa and Ant announced their decision to divorce in January 2018, just two months before Ant was involved in a car crash while more than twice over the drink-drive limit.
Following the incident, he pleaded guilty to drink-driving and was slapped with a £86,000 fine and a 20-month driving ban.
Post-crash, he checked into rehab and took a hiatus from his TV presenting duties for 10 months.
The presenter then tied the knot with his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021 and they welcomed their first child together, a son named Wilder Patrick McPartlin, in May.
Meanwhile, Lisa moved on with Sky electrician James Green in 2020, but their relationship unexpectedly ended in August 2023.
A friend of the couple spoke out at the time, stating that the split after three years was amicable and that they intended to remain friends.
Ant is best known for working alongside Declan Donnelly as part of Ant and Dec.
They both first saw the limelight in the children's drama - set in Newcastle upon Tyne - Byker Grove.
The pair then became TV presenters. They presented SMTV Live, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain's Got Talent.
They also had a music career as PJ & Duncan, with several UK top 20 singles including Let's Get Ready to Rhumble. They released three albums, four EPs and 15 singles overall.
PJ and Duncan were their characters' names in Byker Grove.

Dragonfly review – haunting, genre-defying drama of lonely city living
Twenty years ago, Paul Andrew Williams announced himself as a smart new British talent with his ferocious gangland picture London to Brighton, and his creativity has continued in film and TV ever since. His new film is a haunted, social-realist drama with elements of Mike Leigh but also moments of thriller and even horror. Williams isn't shy of stabbing us with an old-fashioned jump scare towards the end, which in fact challenges the audiences with its refusal of categorisation. There are two superb lead performances from Andrea Riseborough and Brenda Blethyn and an outstanding supporting turn from Jason Watkins. Dragonfly is about loneliness and alienation and about the eternal mystery of other people, the fear of intimacy and the unknowable existence of urban neighbours. Elsie, played by Blethyn, is an older woman who is quite capable of independent living in her bungalow, but a recent fall and an injured wrist has meant that her middle-aged son (Watkins), all too obviously to compensate for not visiting that often, has paid for daily visits from a private agency nurses. They are overworked and not doing an especially good job. Really, she doesn't need these nurses and by enduring them, Elsie is shouldering the burden of her son's guilt. Meanwhile nextdoor neighbour Colleen, played by Riseborough, is a continuingly strange presence. She is a melancholy, withdrawn figure, evidently on benefits and living with her huge American bull terrier, uncompromisingly named Sabre. Williams shows us that she is effectively living in a kind of platonic relationship, or mariage blanc, with this dog; the film periodically gives us startling shots of Sabre's colossal body in a kind of domestic nakedness sprawled on Colleen's bed. In a manner that may be insidious or predatory or just friendly and compassionate, Colleen befriends Elsie; the latter overcomes her initial nervousness of Sabre and she appreciates Colleen's forthright offer of help. Colleen goes down to the shops to get groceries for Elsie and after a few such trips they agree that what would be easiest would be if Colleen simply gets Elsie's debit card and Elsie gives her the pin number. Of course, the film allows us to suspect the worst and then suspect the worst of ourselves for suspecting it. Colleen seems to be unhappy and damaged but well-meaning, especially when she (for a laugh) buys them both a two-way radio so they can easily keep in contact – but then uses this radio to talk to Elsie late at night and semi-intentionally to allow bewildered Elsie to hear what's happening in Colleen's house. It is a riveting dual portrait of two gloomy people who really have, in a strange and dysfunctional way, found a new way of interacting and – importantly – this is a triangular relationship: Elsie, Colleen and the vast Sabre. But with a terrible inevitability, Elsie's uptight busybody son John (Watkins) arrives and there are awful consequences to a conversation he has with Colleen which Williams only shows us in long shot, withholding the truth about what he's saying. It's a stark, fierce, wonderfully acted film. Dragonfly screened at the Tribeca film festival.

Sue Cleaver reflects on '25 years of laughs' after Coronation Street exit
Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Eileen came to Weatherfield to work at the local taxi firm, Streetcars, to provide for her two tearaway teenage children, Jason and Todd. She soon became friends with her boss Steve and came into conflict with Helen Worth's character Gail Rodwell (also known as Gail Platt). Cleaver took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother, and was eliminated third. She also said her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Worth who is godmother to one of her half-sisters, while her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, she released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime. In recent years she has appeared as a panellist on ITV chat show Loose Women.

EXCLUSIVE Signs our dead loved ones are trying to contact us: SUZANNE GIESEMANN was a Navy commander when her stepdaughter died. What happened next will shake any sceptic and changed her life - and can bring hope back to yours too
The unusual fluttery feeling throughout my body was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. My head felt swirly, and I had to fight to keep from tilting to the right. But I was too fascinated to be frightened as Mavis Pittilla, the grande dame of British mediums, told me that she could see two spirits, a man and a woman, standing beside me.
