Silver, on the other hand, was also trading higher at Rs 1,08,800 per kg in the city. The spot prices do not include making charges and 3% GST. Today's morning, gold breached the $3,420 mark and hit 6-week highs as the dollar index weakened. U.S. PPI and core PPI data signalled cooling inflation, raising hopes of Fed rate cuts.
